Great tips Gayle! I always learn something from you. I wondered why those squiggly diagonal lines were on the sewing machine screen and never knew how to omit the different formats from the initial download. Thank you so much.
Gayle, what laptop brand can you recommend I purchase for ease of use with using my embroidery files with my 790+? I’m using an IPad at the present time. But I don’t think purchasing a Mac is my best option. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
Any Pc that is actually a computer will work as long as it meets BERNINA’s specifications. Read more here: www.bernina.com/BERNINA/media/Support/Software/Embroidery_Software/V9/Documents/EN/03_BERNINA-V9-System-Requirements.pdf
Hi please, haw i can install embroidery software 9 to macboock air m2 ? It is posibbly? Please how? I bought mac air and i dont know ,what can i do. Please help me.thank you
I need the stick, would also like to know if the hoop would work on my 770qe Tula edition without loosing embroidery space, and possibly order it as well...
Bernina is a big enough company that it can talk to Apple and find it how to get rid of those weird files. I've tried re-formatting my usb drives but those weird files were still there. I've tried "revealing" all hidden files on my Mac and hidden computer files showed up but those weird files stay hidden on my Mac so I could delete them. For many Bernina users it's become a serious problem, so many weird files show up that it's taking up all the space on their machine and they can't get to their embroidery files. Then they have start using a new USB drive just to get away from those awful weird files. This is a Bernina=Apple problem. Bernina needs to solve it with Apple.
Thank you for watching and your comment. Why are you making this comment here? Do you really think we can do anything about this ? Take it up with Mac or go to BERNINA international directly.
Can You tell the solution of my pc rebooting automatically since yesterday when I connect pc with my phone by usb. And screen freezed and kept rebooting. Please help
Thank you. That was helpful. I was able to get the files transferred to a USB stick and onto my Bernina.
Thank you thank you. Bernina support and embroidery online could not explain how to do this. You are brilliant.

Bernina embroidery software only works on a Mac if you have a port replicating software to run a windows operating system.

Yes to all of these things. The free arm and the medium 8 1/2” square hoop work on the 7 Series without loss of field.

Quik question do I put designs on the machine and then delete to put more on? Is there a limit to what the machine can store?
Yes. But you should permanently saved designs on your computer. I only save things on the machine in classroom situations
