Oh Sara❤. I miss you so. This was just what I needed to help me figure out a problem I was having. Great job as usual. Keep up the fantastic work and making a difference in the lives of machinists.
Great video! First time I ever heard someone say DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK DESIGN ON COMPUTER. Thank you for that info and even letting us know to use a verycsmall USB. I've never downloaded the first design just use the ones that came on my machine.
first off ... great video ... I am learning on behalf of my 82 yr old mother who never watches "how-to" anything, thus she removed the "lint" from her bobin housing on her Bernina 790 pro !!! My question (and I apologize if this has already been addressed elsewhere ... point me in the right direction!). I want to draw something on my iPad and then be able to covert it so that she can embroider it! How do I go about this? Thanks!!!
How many files do you need to transfer to the USB in order to embroider the design. Example : on Bernina you need 3 files, the design, the color, and picture of design.
Hi Sara, I always enjoyed watching you and listening to you, I downloaded a lace design on a USB drive and on my XE1 embroidery only, sew when it was time to stitch it out it came up saying this pattern can not be used, it’s a PES. Help!!
Is there any way to save a design directly off of my machine to a USB stick? I have IQ designer directly on my Baby lock venture and I need to transfer it to another Baby lock. I’ve been trying to figure this out all morning haha
Power Tools to Threads has a good one. She has a lot of videos so u have to find it but she explains in depth and she’s got some good videos to learn from.
Is their a spacifc software to use when designing an embroidery design and transferring it from Mac desk top to USB to put on a brother embroidery machine?
Check Out “Power Tools With Thread” video. Becky Thompson shows you how. Becky is great. She uses The Brother Scan and Cut and show how to get the computer and scan and to work together.
Pfaff creative 4.5 is not reading any of my ‘exports’ from mysewnet. Following all of your tips, multiple small usb drives, different file names, nothing even shows up beyond it recognizes the USB gets plugged in. I am very tech savvy, I don’t believe it is a file issue or a usb issue but rather a sewing machine setting… any ideas I am get extremely frustrated.
@@victoriapless5036 I did, it has to do with the different apps, you need to export it to a different one in the suite of apps then export it… My dealer sent me the Mysewnet direct help line and they walked me through it. I walked away from it for a few weeks because after that issue the tension and thread and needles (expensive across the board no cheap stuff) kept failing me repeatedly. I don’t remember the details but I will be trying again next week and will respond again. When I refresh my memory.
A JPEG file is an image/picture format. This file has no stitching information. You will need to purchase embroidery design files to be able to embroider them.
This doesn’t actually tell you how to do this tasks. Basically it’s telling you some general information and then tells you to look elsewhere for the actual information.
The information I gained from this video was to Google it. So thanks
I got a lot

So what should I do if I tried to open the file on my computer before I watched this video?

You will need to purchase embroidery software to transform an image into stitches. Your local Bernina store can show you lots of options
So much good info! Thank you for posting this video!
Can you suggest which video that shows how to copy and paste the files onto the USB stick? Thank you.
Can I suggest you make a video on how to do the update with the usb stick 😉

Does all the files you need go to the USB stick that you need for Pfaff Creative Icon?

Scotty dog- Thank you for letting me know.
When downloading to a usb stick the colors come up weird on the machine. They don’t look like what I loaded. Why is this?
I also thought she was going to walk us through how to do this.

Have you figured this out? I'm having the same issue for the same machine.

Can a Chromebook download and save designs please? Thanks.
It looks like it can but I do not own one to confirm this.
How to transfer Sewnet to machine

How do you unzip a file?
If you are using a Windows computer, click on "extract". On a Mac computer, double click it.
Can you transfer something you’ve written on your computer like a job title you’d want to embroider on a jacket or shirt?
If I have double clicked on a file, have I destroyed it?
Please please I need help I brought designs the file said jpeg and I need in vp3 file

How upload to usb
There is a how to info, just a bunch of jibberish.
She is full of good information but her voice intonations irritates me to no end. I cannot listen to her.
Be nice! Ok so her voice irritates you, no need to comment, just don’t watch.
