You’re lucky that one guy who was upset about his suspension on his Ford didn’t hear you talking trash behind his back! He probably would’ve let out ALL of his SEMA STRESS on you!!!💯💯💯
Back in the 70's it was all about customized vans, now it's jacked up pickups. Some day in the future the remnants of these trucks will be spotted in some overgrown field just like the 70's vans are today.
That Custom 350 with the dual rear wheels would have looked better with the actual dually fender flairs in the back. There’s also an 80’ GM square body there with a modern interior frame and engine.
Suburban absolutely wasnt available from Chevy as a dually. Not sure why he thought that. I thought maybe he was confused with a squarebody model that may have came that way, but I can't even find that.
At 39:18 timestamp. The hydraulic running board elevator is cool. First time I have seen one of those. I like it for access to these outrageously tall truck cabs.
@steve_edc track bar isn't going to change the drag link will but that will make the steering wheel off center and your gonna track but thats not bump steer.
Those rams over the coilover is lift kits. They will raise or lower the truck. One video went viral last year or so when somebody lovered the rear to load the bed and raise it back up again.
i was gonna watch this video... but when the guy says ... its a chevy with a 6.7powerstroke ... mean while the tag there looking directly at... says dmax 71....🤫
Wheel spacers are so stupid they don't realize how much pressure they're putting on the wheel bearings, even for show they're stupid, because it looks like an afterthought or you screwed up
Again. ZERO custom crossovers. A whole untapped market. One Juke R won the game before it was even played. lol Also, in FL these trucks are called "brodozers". lol
I HIT THE SUBSCRIBE AFTER THE 3RD OR 4TH (COOKIE CUTTER), MY KINDA GUYS ACTING THE SAME ON CAMERA AS IN REAL LIFE!! TALKING SHIT ABOUT ANYTHING THAT STICKS OUT!! 😂😂
Dude you guys are thinking too hard about these vehicles, they are mostly for show. They aren't practical for regular usage. Sema is for people's imagination coming into fruition.
It's a product show not a car show.. it's supposed to be how products look and if it looks like crap on the demo car and doesn't work how is any as a customer supposed to buy it
Dude holding the camera is just a hater lol he just sits and bad mouths every truck. He clearly doesn’t know what he is looking at if he thinks ever truck has the same lift kit on it and they are all the same “cookie cutter” lift. Would love to see his truck at sema…… Didn’t even know what the any level lift was. Guy is so annoying to listen too.
1st!
Ok ?
Guy "I'm gonna build a custom truck for SEMA"
Sits down at computer and orders "SEMA Truck" preset #2

Those Sema trucks are mostly fugly imo, I mean if your going to lift it then take it off road or it's just dumb.
Don’t even know what an any level lift is ? Living under a rock
Same with a portal lift on a SXS..
Thanks so much for highlighting the garbage for me.
Makes me feel better about never getting to go.
😂😂😂
The blue dually suburban isn't factory. There was a company that built the dually fenders for the suburbans back in the day.
@@jon0889 that's good to know
California Concepts
I just got into trucks this year and I even know what a any level kit is.
The dude with you said the blue Suburban dually was factory.... Not!
Thanks for the walk through. That Duramax swapped 4 door C30 was my favorite.
That Custom 350 with the dual rear wheels would have looked better with the actual dually fender flairs in the back. There’s also an 80’ GM square body there with a modern interior frame and engine.
It was later in the video
@I realized that as I had commented before the video was finished. Got busy and didn’t get to edit my comment. Have a great day!
@P-J-W-777 no worries thanks for watching

First truck steps are power steps XL. that’s what that extra piece is
@17:26, that's an Any Level Lift. Fully adjustable ride height.
The hydraulic ram ford has an any level lift setup and is designed for no bump steer and can drive it any height you want.
Bump steer isn't really an issue in solid axle trucks
@@Junkyard_Davelol what? Bump steer is most certainly an issue with solid axle trucks, especially when lifted.
@steve_edc caster and toe make bump steer buddy
@@Junkyard_Dave so if the track bar and drag link aren't at the same angle, that causes what?
@steve_edc track bar isn't going to change the drag link will but that will make the steering wheel off center and your gonna track but thats not bump steer.
You guys are absolutely hilarious when hanging out together! 😂
I had to cut a lot don't want to get banned from posting videos
Those rams over the coilover is lift kits. They will raise or lower the truck.
One video went viral last year or so when somebody lovered the rear to load the bed and raise it back up again.
Kinda disappointing! Wasn’t too many old school customs.
Yeah i like stuff you can use but also looks awsome
Imagine being judged by a guy who doesn’t even know the difference between a Dmax and a PSD…even when when the license plate gives it away😂
I just usually say powerstroke because the 6.7's are far superior to the max and cummins. I've built enough of both to know.
C50 is a short cab, C10 is 10 inches longer. I was watching Newburn measure up his new ramp truck and he wanted to change the C10 cab to C50.
My 51 at 14:30 lol. I hadn’t popped the hood until later, has a coyote in it.
Living down under , I just don't understand the attraction of those lifted up trucks.
If you make yourself bigger, the bear will take notice. That's pretty much it.
@@StaredownGames 😂
We don't either! Don't even get me started on the stupid low profile tire / big rim look!
i was gonna watch this video... but when the guy says ... its a chevy with a 6.7powerstroke ... mean while the tag there looking directly at... says dmax 71....🤫
I love Sema builds in five years they become cheap parts
Most of these trucks make me think of the Hispanic low rider or hopper car community due to the style and intense paint work level of work done.
SEMA is a big buyer/vendor event. The builds are just for show and made to draw people in.
The mega duty Ford "Justin" is a tribute truck built in honor of the mans son Justin killed in a motorcycle accident.
Blue tooth drivetrain show vechiles, but that’s really what it’s about tho, concept more that reality.
"Looks like a powerstroke" 😂😅 Huh ? Not all '68-72' Suburbans have two doors , on each side, some are 3 doors....
I thought 68 down was 3 door all the rest were 4 door
You can't finish your wagon and talking about other projects you want to get into. lol
@@artyart31 it's finished
21:30 That guy came from Texas? He’s got the most NY accent I’ve ever heard.
Judging people's shit, and don't even know what a portal is...
I know bad u joint angles when I see them 😆
Cool video Dave 🤔🚫🧢💯💪🏻🙏🤟
Coca-Cola truck is 1 of 2 the other one is still somewhere in Mexico most likely gone
seams like terrible and desperate mods from 2000's are coming back to truck culture
Wheel spacers are so stupid they don't realize how much pressure they're putting on the wheel bearings, even for show they're stupid, because it looks like an afterthought or you screwed up
Yeah they shaved the tires on the truck by doing burnouts on uneven ground😂

These type videos will bring unneeded hate to your channel and it
and you mean slip yoke
It's kinda like a slip yoke but they make long travel axles that have a double slip they are pretty cool
I think you can start judging builds. When you can fully finish JUST 1 of yours. How about we start there?
@rpieczynski i have finished builds you just want youtube done like the fake Lamborghini miata
How much drug money do you think funds the SEMA show??
You guys are clueless "looks like a POWERSTROKE" 😂
Dude you guys are thinking too hard about these vehicles, they are mostly for show. They aren't practical for regular usage. Sema is for people's imagination coming into fruition.
There wasn't too many examples of imagination there then kinda sad

What wastes of money on completely useless trucks!
Exactly
I like trucks but I hate these ugly lifted candy cane trucks.. so ugly to me. I like stanced out slightly lowered trucks.
@@romuluscreative yes like the red dually clean and usable
Had to stop watching , buddy always asking for handouts from companys
