Anytime I see Pete has posted a new video.......I may not watch it....but I take the time to pull it up and "like it" quick. Pete's the King.... and deserves the support❤️
I say this with the utmost compliment, you really can get so many good sounds. There are a lot of good guitarists but you really can make me love a chorus or a vibrato or a whatever, you know how to sound good.
Pete you are sooooo good at this! I love how your compositions make the pedals sound so amazing - I wanna buy everyone! And then you break it down so I can see what each of the pedals does. Well done Pete and well done JHS!!
I was impressed when I heard these on the JHS channel, this just reinforces my initial impression. Great use of vibrato there in my opinion, usually I don’t dig it but that was tasteful and musical. Thanks Pete have a good one!
I bought the compressor, and it’s great. The features are perfect to pop that sudden funk “ca-chink” and a great bright switch that works well for humbuckers.
I need a nice quality reverb pedal. This may be the ticket. Pete, thanks for all of the great reviews you do. And as always the playing is so enjoyable to see and hear. Great arrangements, fabulous playing. Interesting presentations too.
More and more I find that pedals with 1000 options just waste my time, and leave me without any work done, or songs created after hours of "tinkering". These are a breath of fresh air, and get the job done really well, so I hope they sell really well. I'm certainly considering them. Another great demo from Pete, as always!
You're amazing pete , even when I'm not interested in pedals I still watch your videos , such an inspiration to me , this time I gotta say tho , you sold me that chorus . Amazing
Pete, excellent video. You do know how to get a good sound. Your guitar solo reminding me a lot of Dan Huff from his days in Giant. Was that solo without any gain? Just the chorus pedal? Wow. That’s even more impressive.
thanks for all the posts you make pete im sure all us budding guitarist appreciate all the work you put into these vids for our perusal ,,,i just saw your interview with paul davids,,,dont know how i missed it ,,that was terrific,,,cheers from australia
For pedals that look so bland and only come in Apple white. They sound pretty good in your review. Thanks for all your hard work! Always enjoy your video's
Pete thorn is the best youtuber out there. Deserves 2 mil subs because he has actually played with big artists and knows what he is talking about first hand
That clean chorus part reminded me of Robert Plant’s “Ship of Fools”. Good stuff. When you record your amps with the Apollo, do you use a favorite plugin or the just clean UA preamps?
It’s a bit of a tough call. Because that’s a nice vintage amplifier, and you don’t want to change the core tone too much maybe. But you could try something like an alnico cream... Might be really nice in that amp. An A type... That would probably be the two that I would veer towards
Thanks for mentioning the volume bump....for me that's a bit of a deal killer.... I have a vibe pedal (not JHS) that boosts the signal enough to get me lots of dirty looks from friends/bandmates when it gets engaged.
@Boris Bengin I really like mine. It's far more transparent than many delays I have used. I do not notice a volume drop. The reverb isn't the best, but it's usable. Also, I have my time-based effects on a loop, so I just take it out of the circuit completely when I'm not using it.
Great demo Pete-is it me or are you starting to really accumulate some gear-Synergy stuff-Top Hat, D13, Germino in addition to all the regulars-even saw the old DG 335 which I hadn't seen in a while...Such an awesome bunch of stuff in that room. Would love to see you do some more speaker demos-like M65, H75 and Alnico Creamback demos...
Don't buy the JHS 3 series pedals the toggle switches break in time , I've had a delay and overdrive break in less than a year , there's a design flaw the switch body has a space between it and the box with use the threaded part of the switch works it's way out of the switch body breaking it , there's a simple fix by putting a couple washers in between the switch body and the box but they don't do it , you've been warned 😢
Hey Pete! Nice video as usually! Could you tell us what did you use in series with the pedals in the loop of the SLO please? Is it a device to adjust signal in the loop and if yes what kind of gear it is?! Thanks Pete!
Don’t forget to like the video guys, Pete deserves it 👍
Thanks Tio!
Thank you for doing those videos 😃

Tell ya what a guy/girl that’s low on scratch these days, and who isn’t, has some great tone options with these pedals. Love it.👌
Really nice demo - the pedals sound great, and a 1 dB volume bump when engaged, especially on a chorus pedal, is welcome! I have always done that.
The best way to chill...Chorus...delay....reverb = bliss
Pete’s playing is on another stratosphere.
Hey thanks for listening, so much! I appreciate it

Thank u!!
Chorus is pretty sounding, that’d combine well w that compressor for some nice Andy summers cleans
Always trust Pete Thorn to do a creative, well done demo. Studio quality sound and a monster player for sure.
Thank you Leo!
Holy shit man you make those pedals sound so good
Bro
PETE sounds good
@@ozmassb2594 that’s a given dude he’s a fuckin legend
Pete could play a Weed Eater and it would sound killer.
Nicely done 👍 I bought the Reverb and Delay, excellent pedals and high quality. You can feel it in the pots.
The bought the compressor, it does exactly what it should and with added bright switch is a actually a powerful high end boost
I was impressed when I heard these on the JHS channel, this just reinforces my initial impression. Great use of vibrato there in my opinion, usually I don’t dig it but that was tasteful and musical. Thanks Pete have a good one!
Yeah I sort of use vibrato like I would rotary- Generally for single notes or arpeggiated parts
OMG!!! I love you for testing these pedals with so many different guitars/amps and a TELECASTER!! YOU ARE AWESOME!! No bs... all info. THANK YOU.
You're such a great player Pete, love checking you out man. Killer riffs dude....

That lead work in the opening part of the video is fantastic.

I am a fan of simple as well!
Came for some Chorus Pedal settings… was treating to some killer guitar playing. Thanks man
You're amazing pete , even when I'm not interested in pedals I still watch your videos , such an inspiration to me , this time I gotta say tho , you sold me that chorus . Amazing
Pete is so practical and succinct in his explanations. Thank you sensei!
JHS knocked these out of the park IMO. I'll probably end up getting the Distortion and Fuzz. Those both sound fantastic.
I got the distortion and I absolutely love it!
Where is the Fuzz and Distortion presented in this clip?
Always great stuff Pete! Appreciate your work!!
Pete always gets a like immediately after pressing play. Well done!
You make absolute the best demos on youtube pete👍
the best review made for these pedals.

These pedals sound amazing to me. $99 for made in the USA pedals!!! WHAT!! And they sound fantastic. Plus, I trust Josh knows what he's doing at JHS.
Greatly appreciate you Pete
My gods that Soldano sounds so damn good.
They are classics for sure
I'm convinced Pete could play a Teisco through an AM radio and it would still sound great...

Thanks so much for watching Anthony! :)
Pete, that sounds really good -- as always, top notch playing.
OUTSTANDING review. Thank you. You gained a new follower today.
Great demonstration. Thank you
Excellent demo Pete!
Cool video! Did I spot a Warm 273?
Mine don't sound as good as yours, but that may be because of your playing. Great video!
That clean chorus part reminded me of Robert Plant’s “Ship of Fools”. Good stuff. When you record your amps with the Apollo, do you use a favorite plugin or the just clean UA preamps?
Actually I have a BAE 1073 mp that the mics go into, Line out of that into the Apollo
Pete is something else,,,, like a monster
Pete, you’re such a rockstar👍🎸
Such tasty guitar playing!
Great video. Thank's man.
Love that slide riff!!! 👦🏻
Hey Pete if you had to choose a single 12" speaker (not the cab) for recording everything from funk to heavy what would you choose?
I have an original 1964 fender BF DR and would like to update the speaker. Thanks for your help 🎸🐶

That's a cool pedal! Great video. :)
Are they as good as the H9 eventides?
Great video, thanks for sharing
Wow... This was amazing, can I listen to this on spotify ?̊̈ btw What’s the bass used in the recording?
Thank you, I’m sure I used my Warwick bass on this
I've been wondering about those, awesome.
Thanks for mentioning the volume bump....for me that's a bit of a deal killer.... I have a vibe pedal (not JHS) that boosts the signal enough to get me lots of dirty looks from friends/bandmates when it gets engaged.
I read on the gear page that they may have a fix for this. For those that have already purchased them
@@PeteThorn They fixed my 3 series delay that boosted. Great customer support from JHS.
You can get a Valeton MDR for $90. Sounds great. (The reverb isn't quite this good, but the mod & delay have a bunch of great-sounding variations.)
@Boris Bengin I really like mine. It's far more transparent than many delays I have used. I do not notice a volume drop. The reverb isn't the best, but it's usable. Also, I have my time-based effects on a loop, so I just take it out of the circuit completely when I'm not using it.
Wait when did Pete get an SLO??!?? Yea those 3 series are legit..
Did your delay have a volume boost??
When did Pete get a SLO? I finally heard/noticed the "high-fi" character/overtones that have been mentioned over the years......very cool.
I got one it's awesome I love it
This is why I say paying ridiculous prices for pedals is, well, ridiculous.
Great demo Pete-is it me or are you starting to really accumulate some gear-Synergy stuff-Top Hat, D13, Germino in addition to all the regulars-even saw the old DG 335 which I hadn't seen in a while...Such an awesome bunch of stuff in that room. Is that a mahogany neck?
Does the volume control on the chorus work as a wet/dry control?
No, it controls the overall volume of the signal.
Cool!
Now all pedal manufacturers are gonna go down in $$$ of course that's good
Wow price sounds too good to be true, looking forward to the review
WOW amazing video and sound. You are my Fav influencer for the choice of guitar pedals. Cheers
Thanks for watching!

This is the issue with watching Pete thorn.
He could get a great crunch tone plugging into a bag of stale corn chips! Aka. Make anything sound good!
