Just ordered the reverb. I was looking for a simple reverb after selling my Big Sky which sounded amazing but I needed something I could just plug into and play with limited knob turning due to limited time. Tom, your playing is immaculate as usual.
You already tried yours? Mine clip and distort quite hard if i dial up both the verb and the decay knobs. The hotter the signal going in it, the worse it gets. Pretty much impossible to do any ambient tones with it, i'm pretty pissed tbh. It also has quite a volume bump up when activated.
The blueSky is less complicated, great sounding super realistic reverb.
@@valebliz this happened with mine. I contacted JHS and they told me they were aware of the issue. I sent my reverb in and they fixed it for free. It took about a week. Sounds perfect now.
Needed a RAT. Bought the 3 Series Distortion. Now I have a White Rat. Hehe.
ahaha ! This is sort of an albinos Rat but it covers distortion from DS-1 like, all rat versions and close to fuzz. Very interesting pedal to own as you can pretty much dial in multiple ways. Extremely versatile and underated. I am getting it with the reverb !
OK I keep hearing how the fuzz is usable at minimum fuzz setting but no one ever does that on a demo I always keep my always on delay w repeat barely audible so as to just fatten it up Can't go wrong with any three of them Reverb and maybe fuzz for me
thanks for the time stamp
Yes I second that… very helpful
The problem with Tom Quayle reviewing guitar stuff is that one starts to think that one will sound as good as Tom when they get the gear. :) Tom, you are not the only one who says these pedals are great, so hearing you take them all through their paces is good confirmation. Thank you!
The Distortion pedal sounds incredible.
It’s a modded Rat

Yep. Is Rat, is good.
18:00 SCREAMING at the screen for you to USE THE GUITAR VOLUME to see how well it cleans up!!!!!
That OD sounds better than most on the market IMO Actually all of them rival twice the price pedals Great demo Tom I'm not a reverb guy but this one w the pre delay switch is telling me otherwise Good stuff 👍
Nice looking pedals
A little too wild for my taste
We’re you playing Nada Surf’s “deeper well” during the distortion section? Nice playing and beautiful tones. The overdrive sounded pretty killer, as did the rest.
The new *indistinguishable line of effects pedals.
Why not
I love the sound of these pedals. PLUS, I can place them easily on my desk to AND are easy to access and see in low light because of the high contrast.
Excellent review. Tom is one of the best gear reviewers on the Internet.
Nice tones. Must be using the amps FX Loop for the three pedals on top.
Great video, Tom, and always great to hear you play.
One of the best reviews of these peddles
Excellent job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nice!!!
TOO MUCH TALKING AND NOT ENOUGH EXAMPLES
