Thank you very much indeed for this peculiar lesson- I'm very happy to come across those I've missed so far (although shot at home - no King Ralphie?). I travelled some other tracks during this hour, your advice & guidance of attention regardless of Asana so to the point instructive. For example, I arrived in Pidgeon some breaths before you went there, but chose to do a variation of it with the folded front leg over (!) the Dolphin/lowered to ellbows arms, a new one for me, wild, & everything you said applied to this to the T as well, of course, I was smiling the whole of the class! ❤️🙏🏻
I don’t know where Ralphie was? Mmm? Out for his perimeter patrol? Double pigeon? Firelog pose? Wonderful you flowed your own dance and it still made sense :-) thanks so much 🙏😊
@@TwoBirdsYoga Firelog it wasn't, it was LyingDownPidgeon, just with the front leg over the lowered arms/in front of the ellbows instead of just behind them. Ralphie on perimeter control - this good guy has a schedule, dear me! The light in this video was remarkably beautiful, apropos.
Hope you’re recovering well Faye? So good that you found this accessible x here’s another practice that you might like to try while your recovering. A nice stretch for your whole body, practiced entirely on your back x ruclips.net/video/7TbcXFBBR_w/видео.html ❤️🙏
Beautiful practice. Thank you. I've been doing yin yoga for just over a year now. A number of weeks ago I thought I would try a flow practice ... turned out there was a lot more wobble than flow. Today seemed like a good day to try another flow ... still wobble, but nowhere near as much ... I am constantly amazed at what this 65 year old body of mine can achieve in relatively short periods of time. With gratitude ... namaste.
Awww! I love this.. thanks so much for your message x great you’re experiencing progress with your practice! I still wobble :-) and that’s why it’s called a practice. 🙏
Thank you, Fiona. I just did this one this morning. It’s relaxing. I can’t hold pigeon pose for a few minutes at a time so I was a little fidgety. My yoga block is too high. There’s no book that thick. Lol😂
Perfect practice for me this morning! Lots of thoughtful reminders and noticing how amazing our bodies are! Very grateful Fiona! Thank you so much!🏋️♀️❤️🙏🧘🏻♀️🏄♀️❤️
Perfect way to start a Sunday morning. Coming home to oneself is such a great way to recharge and prepare for a new day and a new week! Thank you Fiona!
Perfect Michael! That’s just what it’s there for. Morning, day or evening... when you’re feeling depleted. Good on you for still rolling out your mat! Hope you’re having a good day. Thank you 🙏
Hi Fiona, just finished another practice with you. The pigeon pose is my favorite for hips opener and this was a little Painful because of the long hold but after doing the both sides I felt so different. Regenerated in the hips. Thank you so much for providing such good quality videos 🙏 I was hoping in A Ralph's appearance 😊
I completely understand. I find longer held hip openers a challenge too. Always better experienced with props under your buttocks in pigeon if it doesn’t feel easeful. And your heel can rest closer to your pelvis. Super great to hear your hips felt transformed after. Nice for you to do a restorative class xx 🙏 thanks so much
This was just what I needed today - Thank you for the nice balance of gentle movement and yin style postures. I fell asleep in shavasana! The only part that was distracting for me was the sound going up and down. Maybe you were trying to reduce distraction when you were being silent by taking down the open-mike sound, but every time it went away and came back it caught my attention and pulled me out of being present in my body... There was at least one other of your videos where the same thing happened. Keep the videos coming, please! They are such a gift to me. I have loved every single one I have tried 💙
Thank you for your beautiful feedback Jessica xx I just had a little listen - I didn’t realise it was so obvious. Sometimes the dogs bark or there’s a sound in the house and I just thought I’d block it out. I’ll be more careful turning it off next time so thanks for letting me know x I’m still quite analogue with my editing skills :-) so great you’re enjoying the classes. I so appreciate your support 🙏 take care x
After 3 days of intense trainings at the gym along with strong flows in the evenings, this is what I needed. The playlist was great as well. I can sleep like a baby now. See you on the mat tomorrow Fi, have a blessed day!! Btw how is the situation in Australia right now? Here the new variant is all around US...
Sleep well x great choice pre sleep. Yes… in lockdown. Cases surging. Lockdown ending maybe November?! Linked to 80 % of population vaccinated. Feels like the same same everyday. Thankfully we are well x thx for asking 🙏 take care you
I enjoyed the class, but I suggest you look up something in filmmaking called ambient sound. When you talk, you can hear the ambient sound of where ever you are recording. However in between your talking, all ambient sound shuts off. This can be sort of unsettling. I suggest that you do a little editing, and add in the ambient sound, in between your monologue. In other words after you have recorded everything you want to say, keep the microphone rolling for about 30 seconds, and grab The same ambient sound and edit it in where the gaps of no sound are. I found myself looking to see if my iPad had gone to pause, when I would hear those gaps of nothing.
Thanks so much for your suggestion. I didn’t realise it was super obvious until I watched it back. Difficult to re edit now it’s published. I’m still quite unskilled editing. But now that you’ve pointed it out, I can see what I’ve done.
I’ve never had this feedback before. I also like a class with minimal cues… I have a few on the channel which you might prefer. Great if you have an established practice. For those that don’t, cues are helpful. Have a lovely day Ann 🙏
Thank you so very much, love and gratitude dear Fiona 🥰🙏
Thank you x my pleasure ❤️🙏
