The Stupid / Dangerous Way to Check If Your S&S Super E Float is Bad

Best case scenario your float works as designed and you just have to deal with getting the gas back in the tank. On the other hand, you've set yourself up for quite a mess with a volatile fuel If it isn't working correctly. This method also will confirm if you have a flow issue.

The s&s super E on my 93 fatboy runs great for awhile and then will leak like a garden hose. I have tried a few things to stop it. I want to ride not fight a damn leak when I least expect it.
