The consul's decision-making process is shrouded in uncertainty, with no clear guidelines or criteria for evaluation. While some individuals invest considerable effort in presenting a comprehensive picture, the consul may dismiss their efforts as superfluous. In contrast, others may adopt a more concise approach, only to find that it fails to satisfy the consul's expectations. The path forward is unclear, and it is difficult to determine the most effective strategy, whether it is to provide a brief answer or to elaborate at length.
So basically, it depends on the mood of the officer on that day. So sad, really... People who prepared so long and struggled to get that visa really badly but got denied-it's not fair, really...

While some individuals invest considerable effort in presenting a comprehensive picture, the consul may dismiss their efforts as superfluous. Their so called "sixth sense" has cost so many people their entire careers and has also made careers of many underserving people. Do they just forget or ignore that a visa interview is not supposed to be like a job interview? Every person is different. Some are more confident while others aren't. Some can have mental issues like ADHD, OCD, etc. Why do they ignore this simple fact? If they have to interview hundreds in a day then why not just add more officers instead of denying people who spent a big chunk of their hard earned money and time on the visa process and planned their careers around it or whatever. There is no excuse. It's just pathetic.
They're to blame for the border crisis that's been going on for months now. I do not blame those immigrants at at. You cannot just look at ppl and decide that u do not like the way they look so ur gonna deny them a visa.
This is unprofessional and on called for.. indeed they have no idea of stress they put people through waste of years waiting for a Visa and planning life around that long date they give.. just to fit in and in the end just say no to someone base on what you think..? Please,I have been there and witness an interviewer continuesly saying no to everyone that approach her in less than 2 min. Why do people travel especially when they have never been to a country before to be experienced clearly, curious to see what there.!!!
Very correct.....they should see the number of the so called "genuine" people that abscond when they get to US and know that something is not right with the way they interview people for visa..
They denied my girlfriend to visit the US even though she has her own business, family that lives in the Philippines and she has land that she owns. Yet they told her that she has no strong ties? It's absolutely ridiculous. The whole thing is BS! It's not an interview at all. You're just a number. They only give vague reasons for why you're denied. Doesn't matter what documents you bring because they don't even look at them. Then they charge you now, a hundred eighty dollars per interview even though it's very likely most people that go to the interview don't even come close to the qualifications to travel. It's all about money. Yet people can come across the border illegally all the time, it's not about security or safety, it's just about stupid government that is ineffective and not efficient. It's not right when people go about to enter my country the us legally and are denied yet people can freely come across the border unchecked. It's all broken. $180 is a lot of money to a Filipino.
same here. i have all the documents to support my ties in Ph. bank statements, properties, investments, families, yet didnt even bother to check, 5 questions and i was denied! cost me 185usd, 5 months of waiting and all the preparations, and travel cost only to be denied in 2 mins. im not happy at all. better to visit and spend my money in other countries. its such a waste coz i have pure intention of only visting and i deserve approval but IO didnt give me a chance
its really BS! just a minute or two, thats just how it took them to make a decision. how could you judge a person whether he/she is eligible or not by asking 2 to 5 questions and not checking the supporting docs he/she got? You are right. its not an interview at all and its disappointing. i lost interest now in USA. all the excitement were gone
@@mondoshawan2159You're married and they denied? I thought the problem for the other commenters is the interviewer thinks they are looking for a fake marriage in order to immigrate.
It is indeed unfair. Appicants pay a government fee, they travel to the consulate office and pay also for the trip. And visa officer has a 6th sense...
@@ZFvisa yeah, I know. I migrate to work with canadian and Australian visas. The online evaluation gives applicants opportunity to explain all details of the request. Thank you for your efforts.
I agree with you . I know people who Will not come Back and get Easy the Visa and people that trully just want to have a Good vacation in family and has it denied .
Thank you so much! I’ve watched 3-4 videos regarding B1/B2 touristic visa interview and your videos were very helpful. 4 out of 5 members of our group got their 10 year visas. Thank you so much for your tips, information and advises! Very helpful channel with priceless knowledge! May God bless you!
Thank you for this information. I've lived in Viet Nam for a little over five years and married a VN citizen. We applied & paid for a visa for my wife, then we scheduled the interview. I wasn't allowed to attend the interview and her visa was denied. MY WIFE'S VISA WAS DENIED. The reason, my wife told me, was because she doesn't have enough stamps in her passport, which sounded arbitrary to me. Now we're spending our money visiting other countries so we can pay for another interview and pay for a trip for my wife to meet my family. After the failed interview, I suggested to my wife that we fly to Mexico and walk through the open border, like everybody else. If millions of new immigrants don't need a visa, why should my wife?
I heard that too, but on another show just recently, some guy was talking I wish I could’ve kept it, but he said they’re denying Filipinos at the Mexican border. Wanted to do the same thing and I was going to try to do that.
I was denied a US visa in 2000, I was at film school back then that only 15 people a year were accepted in, but they didn’t cared, I was only traveling for vacations. I have never applied for one again, won’t give them the pleasure to decide wether I can go and spend money on their country.
Nope and this is exactly what's wrong with the entire system. Unqualified workers controlling the fate of people. No one should be able to say "This person didn't present themselves well enough for a visa" and if you think otherwise, you are part of the problem.
Rather than arrive through the Mexico-US border, an applicant makes considerable effort and pays expensive fees and travel only to be denied because some clerk is having a bad day? They should be fired! The US Embassy should demonstrate some dignity and decency and properly represent the American people.
It is very concerning to me as a US citizen to know about this horrible problem of not allowing good and honest people to travel to my country. It seems like something I would expect from a dictatorship. I married a man of Indian origin in 2014 and it is now almost ten years later and still we have not had any success to get my brother in law a visa just to travel to visit us. My husband has a big family who all owns property and businesses in India and has plenty of evidence of their ties to India. We are completely isolated from my husband’s family here unless we are to travel to India which costs thousands of dollars each time and puts all of the burden on us. We cannot even invite our family members to our home. So many birthdays, holidays, weddings and funerals have been missed. My family has not been able to build any bond with my husband’s family. We have not had children also due to the lack of family being able to visit. We don’t want to raise children without the possibility of being visited by aunts uncles and cousins. Our family is deeply injured by the current way things are done regarding tourist visas from India to USA.
you cannot blame the US. People from 3rd world countries like india use the US to illegally look for jobs just to better their lives. The US would much rather give those jobs to their citizens then illegal immigrants. Thats just the reality of it. Ask your husband how rampant Indian people flock to the US illegally just to find a better life for themselves.
I don't know, Joanie. I had children overseas and only visited with family every few years. It was hard. Never anyone to babysit or help if I got flu. But I wouldn't give up having a family. That was a greater priority.
@@user-ov4wr5yu4r It is a choice we must all make…It is too difficult for us to have a family under these conditions, we both have demanding careers and it would require a lot of help from family. We both are not willing to have kids only to have them be raised by strangers. My point is that is didn’t have to be this way, there needs to be reform in the way visas are given. The current system doesn’t make sense for American families like mine. And there are many of us suffering over this.
@@eileenwatt8283 I wish we could move to India, unfortunately we earn our living in United States. There are no comparable career options in India. Also, my family lives here and my husband’s family lives in India. United States allows people with European citizenship to visit freely but it’s not the same for Indian citizens. All I am saying is that it is time for an update in the law considering that Indians hold many top positions in top companies in the US and have proven themselves to not be a security threat to the United States. There is no reason I can see why Indian citizens who can prove their income and show a return ticket should not be allowed to visit the United States for 2-3 weeks at a time. I don’t think what I am saying is unreasonable.
It’s truly not fair because here in the US there are tons of undocumented people that are currently being taken cared of by our government. They gove them food and a place to stay in NY. I don’t understand that why is it it Only takes them a minute or two to deny applicants who has complete documents and sincere reasons why they’re applying for US Visa.
Great content Mandy. As a former consular officer, I agree 💯. It can be really frustrating for applicants but given the way the law is written and the onus being on the applicant to convince the officer that they won't be misusing the visa, sometimes a couple questions is all it takes to know that you doubt the person in front of you and don't believe them. Thanks so much for making these videos and helping to demystify the application process.
I got denied because of my educational background, I took two colleges and the first one is irrelevant to the place I'm going as an intern. They didn't even take a look at my documents, my parents paid thousands of dollars for the program and now it's all wasted because I was denied.
I went for my J1 visa interview yesterday and got denied after being asked just 3 questions: 1. What type of visa are you applying for? 2. Have you ever travelled outside your country and worked there? 3. Who do you stay with I wasn't given the chance to explain anything. It felt like I'd been hit by a ton of bricks. I realised afterwards that I hadn't submitted my DS-7002 to the consular officer, which may have hurt my chances of being considered greatly.😭😭
Today my visa got rejected just asking me 2 questions and based on his judgment he put me in the section of 214(b) even without asking my documents or my ties. I was leaving my children’s in home with my sister because of travel hours and he couldn’t give me a chance to explain my attention is not to stay in the US. I observed he was depressed as there was so much applicants and he was not even said hello with smiling gesture
Hey Mandy. During my interview, i tried answering the questions the consulate officer was asking but she interrupted me without letting me even answer and declared i wasn’t qualified. It’s not fair because 180 dollars might not seem much in the US but in other countries it is.
in comparison, chinese visa officers are so kind and cooperative,, i remember my very first interview for china business visa in 2013, with fresh passport,, with same profile i had with me to us embassy yesterday morning the chinese vo asked me about my business, abt my reason to visit china,, and instantly called the inviting person in china,, and issued the visa. after that, i got 4 more visas, with same profile,, without any questions,, just documents !
No body wants to migrate and live in China permanently. It is the opposite for the USA. Chinese Visa Officers have no reason to worry about your true intent for getting the Visa.
@@annsgal2025I have applied for Schengen visa (twice, approved both times) and they were fairly cooperative - at least they'd ask clarifying questions and see our documents.
Thank you for the video. I just want to say that the Visa application process is awful and very humiliating. 1. You could do it online --> We live in a digital century and you do not have to waste your time, energy and money to attend the embassy. WHen you get there for only 2-3 Minutes go get a "No" - you feel like an idiot and you just hate the World at this point. 2. You pay, but there is no guarantee you will get what you paid for --> paying 175$+ is not a joke and it really feels like you have been scammed after officer finds it weird about how you would like to visit US. 3. Visa Online Application is extremely frustrating --> you literally have to speedrun the application online otherwise you will receive a message "Session timed out" and you have to do it all over again and again until you make it quick. I honestly think about all people and if I were someone who created these regulations: how can elderly people get this done by themselves? They can not. So that is something about caring about people of all ages. 4. Provoking illegal immigration --> I wonder why? If people can not get to country they want to live in officially and enter the US legally - what choice do they have if their families and friends are all in US? Of course you will have this problem. Well, there you go. This is just another example of courruption being unbeatable just because of the profit. Remember that you have to pay first without having a guarantee you will get what you paid for and secondly you have to physically get there when you could do it online for those mere 2-3 minutes. Awful and humiliating. You really feel like an idiot and scammed at the end.
@@ZFvisa Thank you so much for your reply. I just want to make sure you do not feel this personal. In no way it was meant for you all. I know this is also very tough task for officers. Thank you for the video once again. At least we have a platform here we can raise issue on and talk about it thanks to people like you ☘️
I don't think it is about preparation. I believe it is their mood. I was asked two questions only then asked to place my hand on biome 2:39 tric and was told denied. It is like they found something about me I don't know what. Another guy ahead of me had a really great travel history. He had been to Canada on a conference and the same conference is now in US but he was still denied. I don't think there is fairness in the issuance.
they may interview people day in day out but it’s not logical nor is it ethical to base their assumptions on a 6th sense. they don’t even see the mental stress for the applicants and the journey of the entire process just to be refused because of a 6th sense. being in an LDR is stressful enough on a marriage. we spent almost 2 years putting everything together and saving up money to file for my husband’s visa while also traveling to be with him, we submitted everything according to what would be sufficient evidence to prove our relationship only for someone who doesn’t know us or has spent time with us when we’re together decided that our relationship wasn’t real.
Sorry to hear about this experience! I was denied the first time I was interviewed, I thought I was ready and prepared. But unluckily I was denied after only. 3 questions. I was at a loss of words, I told myself better luck next time. Hopefully next year I will try securing visa again for the 2nd time. This year its all fully. booked. I enjoyed watching your videos mam and it really helps. Thank you....
Hello Mandy i've been informed that if i have an immigrant process going on (my husband is a citizen and my daughter too) and my case is already completed only waiting for interview appointment, it is very difficult for me to get a B1/B2 visa to have a short vacation with my family. do you have any advise on this?
I'm with my friend when Applied my tourist Visa I got denied and my friend is Approved ending my friend overstayed in the US. Thats her purposed on applying the visa anyway. while my purposed is just to visit but they chose the wrong person to be approved. Its just so sad.
Im glad ur not a uscis officer anymore had someone like you interview me through the phone to prove my relationship with my wife is real. with a northern vietnamese accent and broken english treating me like a criminal i could barely understand what you were saying
Hi, Mandy, my brother was rejected last week for a J1 Visa, he was asked how did I end up in the USA, and he answered “she has a green card” after which he was given the passport back, my status is clean, with no illegal days in the USA, got my GC after marriage. He booked another appointment that’s coming soon, I would appreciate any recommendations from you!
Hi, the same thing happened to me!! I had travel history to the US 2x but got denied recently after they asked me about my sister. Please tell me how it went for your brother or if you got any tips. I can't afford a consult.
We're not sure exactly what the visa officers are looking for, but from our experience, it seems like the decision is often predetermined, and the interview serves more as a confirmation of whether the applicant's details and persona match or not. Saying this because some people get their visa in minutes while some gets rejected. Here in Nepal, we do not need to present any documents during the interview for the B1/B2 visa category. They rely solely on the details from the DS-160 form and the interview itself. Our own interview lasted less than 2 minutes, and the visa was granted, whereas other applicants were asked numerous questions and still had their visas denied. We don't mean to offend anyone, but it appears there is a filtering process starting from the application form itself. During the interview, you mainly need to correspond with what you've written on the DS-160 form. We have friends who were rejected (one had a petition filed in the US, leading to his tourist visa denial, as similarly happened with his brother at the US Embassy in Portugal, where they were informed of the reason), while others were granted visas based solely on the business volume of their parents. Therefore, our suggestion would be to focus more on how you fill out the DS-160 form and how your online presence is perceived. Are you or your business or your employer easily found on Google? Surely the Embassy receives thousands of applications every day so guess preparation right from the application form is the Key!! Anyway, we wish you all the best!
My fiancee was denied a visitor visa, she wanted to come visit and meet my family before we decided to proceed with the K1. She was denied due to "insufficient proof" she would return. Even though she just started a new job, signed a 1 year lease on an apartment and has all her family in her home country dependent on her, there some how was not enough proof. So we just pushed our plans ahead and went through with the K1 visa, currently it is in the system somewhere.
"It doesn't necessarily mean that its fair" So they do agree that it's unfair to deny a person's visa without even asking them appropriate questions, then why is the fee so high?
Hi " im from Kenya , went for US Embassy interview 2 days ago, asked few questions like The purpose of travelling , i answered well, where do i work , i answered , who is paying for my trip, i answered, do you hv a travel history , i answered No. given pink paper.
Just think about a student, while he/she denied merely six sense judgment even all documents found ok. Thats could not be a proper way to select a person for visa.
Don't have time? The officer had enough time to make crass remarks just because I was traveling with a professor for an academic conference. She doubted me despite knowing that I am married to someone else (which shouldn't really matter), and a graduate student pursuing a PhD. They have enough time for their degenerate ideas and remarks. Utterly disgusted with the unprofessional officer. Having met many people in life, we also develop a 6th sense for such abominable people. It's just an unfair process.
Hello Mandy, my partner is currently applying for J1 trainee visa and everyone he knows (& of the same work experience ) has been denied and so he's worried that he might denied to.. one of the main questions asked was about the work experience? They graduated on July 2020 and they got to only apply for J1 trainee visa now that pandemic is over... please let me know what you think.
It's unfair for us, six sense??? How come...they don't even look at the papers as u have said, how about the payment did the embassy returned it back???
My masters is on hold just cuz they keep rejecting my F1 visa and i have to defer my course to the next term like come on we pay embassy fee and sevis fee everytime and for what just to get rejected. I have gotten the f1 visa before then i came back after my program ended idk why theyre being so silly and not giving the visa and playing with people's future
The consul holds the key, no rules, no guidebook. It all depends on their so called mood and perspective. Some people provide all the details, but the consul might think they're blabbering. Others keep their answer short, but that might not be enough; Some people share it all, but the consul may not be impressed. Others keep it brief, but that might not work either and most of the time you still get denied even though you have strong family, social and economical ties to your home country. Navigating this process is challenging, as there is no clear formula for success, and the best approach remains unclear..
That's where we can help! The best approach depends on each applicant's unique circumstances. We'll take the time to understand your situation, and then we'll outline the best approach you should take.
Just asking a couple questions and not listening to our answers properly and without verifying the documents how can they deny visa. As interview officer said me I am not qualified at Delhi embassy I was so depressed on 9th Oct 2024 with in a minute.
Same thing happened to my in-laws. My husband serves in the U.S. army so he literally cannot visit his parents in China. His parents applied for a visa to come visit him, not an immigration visa btw, and was denied after 3 questions that they weren't given time to answer. The interviewer saw his picture in uniform on top of the documents but didn't even look at most of the documents prepared.
Hello Mandy, thank you for the work you do. I have some worries that I wish you can clarify me. I had to to register for my online application with my old passport which does not meet the 6 months Validity requirement. After my intended duration of stay, I have 5 months 6 days left before it expires. So I decided to make a new passport. So my question is, should I turn up for the interview with the old passport with less than 6 months left to expire since I used it for the online application, or I should go with the new passport for the interview? I will be glad to get your feedback. Thank you.
Hi Mandy, love what you are doing. How about the process for Religious Visa? Can you share any information that would be of help for this process? Thanks!
I was rejected because I want to do a second degree primarily because I want to change my career . The visa officer didn't give me the opportunity to present my case and explain my career goals .He immediately dismissed !!!
Hi Mandy I hope you're doing well As for me am not doing well 😢, I was denied visa yesterday which am against, because the documents they deny my visa is my WAEC result. My whole family applied for B1/B2 visa including me when I was young and got rejected but when my mother applied as a single applicant she got her visa approved. It is pretty obvious that when I am going to apply in future the VO is going to ask about my previous rejection and the reasons which I really can’t remember but if there will be any issue if I include “ I was too young to remember the reason for rejection but maybe it was because we applied together as a family because when my mother applied as a single application she got her visa approved and visited USA once for 13days and returned!” Please please reply to this!
today was my interview in US Embassy Doha, the office looked at my DS 160 form for 5 minutes and asked me one question what is the purpose of your trip? he had the refusal paper in his hand i answered him very clear and he hand over me that paper.. it doesnt make any sense 😫😓

In my case the first officer messed my record, since then I have been receiving several denials. A genuine case and for work purpose but do they care? with one minute they say sorry sir. If completed the req't, do i have a high chance for him to approve it? Hope u can help me 🙏😊
My parents' visa got rejected like this. They didn't even check their documents that prove their ties to the home country and just rejected under 214b. They have only looked at the letter of invitation. I had mentioned about the ties they have to the country in it. They genuinely cannot overstay. They have not even asked about any questions about the ties they have to the home country. So, next time should I just emphasize more on their ties to the home country in a more convincing way in the letter i write?

Traveling should be fun and exciting ,not a torture. Obviously most of the visa officers' sixth sense is not well developed, because I know people who've been granted b1/b2 visas easily by the officer and they never came back home from America . It's just a business for the embassies , one of the sources of income .

Maybe I got something like this, but not rejected immediately and given a 221g which is still pending for long, after checking few of your videos tried to connect you on your website and still waiting to hear back
Just be well prepared and try it the next time there is no another way around.I feel like the approval that it's part of your lucky level.you stand in front of different interviewers. different interviewers are giving different chances(more or less)to you. some ask more questions to applicants even they are stuttered. some ask two questions to applicants even they got more to say... it seems like they didn't wanna give you the chance. i think the next time when the interviewer was being silent.I'm gonna answer the one question longer.give it all the information i got.at least leave no regrets for myself.because some interviewer would not volunteered to ask you one more. so you need to giving the information yourself. anyway.just try it next time that we ready.and we should take it as our first attempt.not looking it as failure.

My visa interview is after 10 days, but situation is getting worse because more and more students are getting rejected every day. As long as majority of last year participants did not come back per the condition of the program, the attitudes of the US embassy has changed negatively towards SWT participants. Could you please explore the situation more and give your valuable advices, since hundreds of students as me in Uzbekistan need professional's guide in this case
Hi Mandy! Thank you so much for all these informative videos. I love all of them! Could you please make a video of why people got questions for a long time (b1b2 visa) yet still received a 214b? Thank you so much.
My entire family visa got declined after 2 questions what is the purpose of ur visit. And where do u work? In less then 30 sec he returned all passports.
I am on F1 visa, and I filed for F2 for my wife. VO refused her visa just after questioning her name and marriage date. Idk why they refused her visa, she is my wife. Now I don’t know whther I should apply again or not??
It a criminal way of taking people money and not have time to process and review there application...
Just a business brother
Cause they are scammers and that what scammer do
So basically, it depends on the mood of the officer on that day. So sad, really... People who prepared so long and struggled to get that visa really badly but got denied-it's not fair, really...
Same feelin’ plus without checking the requirements. Just like that, you got denied…
Yup
You right
Agreed
The outcome of the consul's decision still relies heavily on their personal preferences and mood, rather than adhering to a strict set of guidelines.
Exactly
They're to blame for the border crisis that's been going on for months now. I do not blame those immigrants at at. You cannot just look at ppl and decide that u do not like the way they look so ur gonna deny them a visa.
I cant blv she really said they developed a "sixth sense"
This is unprofessional and on called for.. indeed they have no idea of stress they put people through waste of years waiting for a Visa and planning life around that long date they give.. just to fit in and in the end just say no to someone base on what you think..? Please,I have been there and witness an interviewer continuesly saying no to everyone that approach her in less than 2 min. Why do people travel especially when they have never been to a country before to be experienced clearly, curious to see what there.!!!
VISAs are for the poor, that's it
Clever dishonest people can fake it and genuine people can get nervous and get denied. That's why many unqualified people get qualified.
Very correct.....they should see the number of the so called "genuine" people that abscond when they get to US and know that something is not right with the way they interview people for visa..
Correct 👍🏻 😊
I'm an American citizen, and my wife is from the Phillipines, and they denied her visa to come visit. Just gotta keep trying or eventually petition.
Agree.
Unfortunately this is the process.
@@ZFvisa yeah, I know. I migrate to work with canadian and Australian visas. The online evaluation gives applicants opportunity to explain all details of the request. Thank you for your efforts.
Hi good day I'm not getting true with your email
Our country, our rules, plenty of countries have worse rules.
Out of desperation...😅
The US.is not the world@@AjiDn1
Can we do something about this? Can we sue the person that denied our visa for mental trauma and financial losses?
Unfortunately, no.
Nope and this is exactly what's wrong with the entire system. Unqualified workers controlling the fate of people. No one should be able to say "This person didn't present themselves well enough for a visa" and if you think otherwise, you are part of the problem.

@@ngalahansel6066😂😂😂

Rather than arrive through the Mexico-US border, an applicant makes considerable effort and pays expensive fees and travel only to be denied because some clerk is having a bad day?
They should be fired!
The US Embassy should demonstrate some dignity and decency and properly represent the American people.
It depends on the mood of the interviewer if he or she will grant your visa or deny it.
This statement is so true 😢
Definitely one very important factor.
Definitely true
I faced this situation today
Yeah I got rejected within 2 just questions😢
Why don't you move to India and wait until his case comes up. India has a long wait time.
I don’t understand that why is it it
Only takes them a minute or two to deny applicants who has complete documents and sincere reasons why they’re applying for US Visa.
Got denied a visa today feeling really depressed after watching all these videos for my first time
Mine got denied too and these officers even you tell them and you have everything they will jus I think and be like denied mood swings kind of choices
Yeah bro feeling sucks
Great content Mandy. As a former consular officer, I agree 💯. It can be really frustrating for applicants but given the way the law is written and the onus being on the applicant to convince the officer that they won't be misusing the visa, sometimes a couple questions is all it takes to know that you doubt the person in front of you and don't believe them.
Thanks so much for making these videos and helping to demystify the application process.
Thanks Matt!
I need help with scheduling an appointment
Same
Hi im a fulltime student and i love travelling , is there any chance i can get one?
absolute bullcrap!
I got denied because of my educational background, I took two colleges and the first one is irrelevant to the place I'm going as an intern. They didn't even take a look at my documents, my parents paid thousands of dollars for the program and now it's all wasted because I was denied.
See above.
I went for my J1 visa interview yesterday and got denied after being asked just 3 questions:
1. What type of visa are you applying for?
2. Have you ever travelled outside your country and worked there?
3. Who do you stay with
I wasn't given the chance to explain anything.
You may have not presented yourself well.
Your marketing skills are excellent.
Well done. You are sincere and helpful. You appear to be concerned about people's desire to visit the US for legitimate reasons. Good job and thanks.
I feel devastated because I've waited for this job since last year, but my visa was denied by the consul who seemed not in good mood earlier.
in comparison, chinese visa officers are so kind and cooperative,,
i remember my very first interview for china business visa in 2013, with fresh passport,, with same profile i had with me to us embassy yesterday morning
the chinese vo asked me about my business, abt my reason to visit china,, and instantly called the inviting person in china,, and issued the visa.
after that, i got 4 more visas, with same profile,, without any questions,, just documents !
1. You could do it online
--> We live in a digital century and you do not have to waste your time, energy and money to attend the embassy. WHen you get there for only 2-3 Minutes go get a "No" - you feel like an idiot and you just hate the World at this point.
2. You pay, but there is no guarantee you will get what you paid for
--> paying 175$+ is not a joke and it really feels like you have been scammed after officer finds it weird about how you would like to visit US.
3. Visa Online Application is extremely frustrating
--> you literally have to speedrun the application online otherwise you will receive a message "Session timed out" and you have to do it all over again and again until you make it quick. I honestly think about all people and if I were someone who created these regulations: how can elderly people get this done by themselves? They can not. So that is something about caring about people of all ages.
4. Provoking illegal immigration
--> I wonder why? If people can not get to country they want to live in officially and enter the US legally - what choice do they have if their families and friends are all in US? Of course you will have this problem.
Well, there you go. This is just another example of courruption being unbeatable just because of the profit.
Remember that you have to pay first without having a guarantee you will get what you paid for and secondly you have to physically get there when you could do it online for those mere 2-3 minutes. Awful and humiliating. You really feel like an idiot and scammed at the end.
I understand how you feel. It’s not an easy process.
@@ZFvisa Thank you so much for your reply. I just want to make sure you do not feel this personal. In no way it was meant for you all. I know this is also very tough task for officers.

It's a true scam.why take our money before interview?????
I don't think it is about preparation. I believe it is their mood. I was asked two questions only then asked to place my hand on biome 2:39 tric and was told denied. It is like they found something about me I don't know what.
Another guy ahead of me had a really great travel history. He had been to Canada on a conference and the same conference is now in US but he was still denied.
I don't think there is fairness in the issuance.
really informative and pure information that we need to prepare for an interview thanks for your guiding ma'am
thank you mandy..visa approved

Congrats! finally a happy story xD
Stealing people's Money and not giving them 5 minutes to explain their urgent needs
they may interview people day in day out but it’s not logical nor is it ethical to base their assumptions on a 6th sense. they don’t even see the mental stress for the applicants and the journey of the entire process just to be refused because of a 6th sense. being in an LDR is stressful enough on a marriage. we spent almost 2 years putting everything together and saving up money to file for my husband’s visa while also traveling to be with him, we submitted everything according to what would be sufficient evidence to prove our relationship only for someone who doesn’t know us or has spent time with us when we’re together decided that our relationship wasn’t real.

So they do agree that it's unfair to deny a person's visa without even asking them appropriate questions, then why is the fee so high?

thats how they work but they come to other countries like a walk in the beach

I have gotten the f1 visa before then i came back after my program ended idk why theyre being so silly and not giving the visa and playing with people's future
There’s an issue with your case. Please don’t go to another interview until you work with me - you’ll just have wasting time and money.

Yes, they do. And they will know why the previous officer denied your application.
No, they probably won't look at the letter. It's more about how your parents present themselves at the interview.
@@ZFvisa Thank you very much.
That is not right and things need to change at USCIS! For U.S. citizens married to Foreign National Spouses being denied Tourism Visas and or marriage visas and green cards is basically violating human rights. Separation of U.S. citizens from their spouses is a violation of International Law too! Support the American Families United Act, HR1698.
If that sounds silly to you...that's because it is. She claims that interviewers have thousands of interview experiences...what they are doing is stereotyping in fact. According to Harvard studies even best trained psychologists are only 50% right when cold or hot reading a subject. They are mocking human dignity.@@GravitasCaelestis

Hi Mandy, I got my H1b case approved and tried to book visa slot in London. I paid the fees but, suddenly the next step it went to "pending conular Authorization" .. I am not able to book my slot for interview. I dint know what to do adn what is this situation caled. Please provide some insight on this..
They develop Sixth What? How did their sixth sense not catch that I have more to say? It’s wild they’ve decided I’m no good based on just 2 or 3 questions..
Yes, it can be an unfair process.
I was denied unfairly
Si sorry to hear that! Send us an email at info@zfvisa.com so we can determine whether we might be able to help you improve your chances if you apply again.
I was thinking they do it to keep your money to make revenue for Visa Office. Sound judge mental, to where they chose who they want. Mandy, you fail to mention how much ou are charging for your booking?
How to retrieve DS160 filled out form which was submitted a year ago
Bruh she basically said "it's because something wasn't right. Pay me to figure out. Byeeee" Yeah. Very informative. 😐
Sometimes messages and e-mails are not enough to understand a situation, and that's when a session is helpful. Wish you the best.
Sincerely the visa officers should give enough time like the way the immigration officers accord to passengers
Thanks madam I did my interview using some guidance i got it from argo how ever the officer told me that my visa is approved and it will take some time and he will send it in email what does it mean ?
This is what exactly happened to me, the officer only ask me 5 questions, i answered all correctly, yet i was denied. The last question was, "do you have family in the United States?"..i replied no, and just like that, he told me that i was denied. I felt like a tonn of bricks fell on me. I will visit other countries such as the UK visa-free.
Providing key details when you answer questions is key here. Send us an email to info@zfvisa.com. We can help you prepare!
Jus curious as I travel a lot on vacations and flying these days. What do immigration officers see on their screen when they scan a passport??
:)))
Your travel history.
Hi Mandy ❤
How does the visa officer know about my travel history if I renew my passport even though he never look at the old one or any Documents ?
Data base
@@Honesty001
Which country database please?
@@kayodealoba760 global entry database and also you provide travel info in your formulary.
Traveling should be fun and exciting ,not a torture. Obviously most of the visa officers' sixth sense is not well developed, because I know people who've been granted b1/b2 visas easily by the officer and they never came back home from America . It's just a business for the embassies , one of the sources of income .
Hi Officer, is it a problem if Adult Americans support me financially to F1 visa who are not my relatives, but friends?
Hi, please guide, what should be the ideal sequence of attaching documents?
Updated: No Document demanded!!! only verbal questions, i got visa in just 5 minutes !!!
Good morning.
I over stayed in us in 2004.2005 i was granted a visa.but at the air port sfo i was detained for the previous violation. Being barred,i applied after 3 yrs. Barred again for 10 yrs from 2008.can i apply again ?will they reject and bar again.?please help.
Hello Mandy! Great content . I have a quick question that my uncle is sponsoring me for my study in US. I already got my I 20. and going to start my visa process. So, is is really ok that my UNCLE is my sponsor ?
Ilove your information..it's helpful ❤
Glad it was helpful!
When you are former you are gone!! Rules changed and your existence no longer requires!! After 2 question, it can’t be denied!! Because every denial requires fresh payment by the applicant, that goes towards your bonus; but may be straining to the applicant. Some are outright arrogant and truly reflects their educational levels!! Some are looking for Britney Spears or Back Street Boys or < ??? >
Hi Mandy, I am an F1 student in the USA. If I have everything perfect ( in terms of documents and non-immigrant intent) and still my wife's F2 is denied, can I take any legal step? What are my options?
While you can't appeal the denial, your wife can try to apply again. Please reach out to us at info@zfvisa.com, and we'll help her prepare.
Thanks, I have a question. Is a travel record is very important? In DS-160 we can mention only 5 years of travel record. Can We mention previous travel records that we traveled more than 5 years ago in DS-160?
Absolutely. You might also want to bring other travel up during your visa interview.
@@ZFvisa same question above, but i only write previous 5 year travel. i'm afraid if i write too much information, bad for my approval. so i just provide all my previous expired passport let VO see all my travel countries
My husband was denied this morning..😢 after two questions that he answered well and it's a scholarship visa so painful 😢
So sorry to hear about this! We recommend that your husband review our online student visa training courses at www.zfvisaguides.com. There, he'll learn how to most effectively communicate with his visa officer to improve his chance of success.
My visa was refused under 214b conditions but I was told I can't appeal. What documents could they need if I reapply?
I had my second interview today and it was refused again. We spend so much money on that and it ends like that. That's sad. 😢 I wanted to work at a summer camp and return. I dont know if my on-line job was a problem. I also answered a question she didn't ask. I said I would quit my job if I were allowed to go to the US and she said the was not asking that.
Sorry to hear that.
Yes this happened to my husband, which I felt was so wrong, he didn't look at his paperwork, I wanted to know should I apply again.
Sorry to hear about that experience. If he does try again, he'll need to be ready to explain his circumstances and plans in detail. Reach out to us at info@zfvisa.com if you'd like our assistance!
Maybe I got something like this, but not rejected immediately and given a 221g which is still pending for long, after checking few of your videos tried to connect you on your website and still waiting to hear back
I need your guidance about my spouse's visa.
Someone advised me to apply a visit visa alongside the spousal visa.
Is it advisable?
Hello!
I am a student from Uzbekistan who is going to participate in Summer Work and Travel programm and applying for j1 visa.
You need to prepare for the visa interview. You can book with me at www.zfvisa.com. Good luck.
Does selecting community collage instead university effects our interview or any impression on visa officer
Kindly respond to this question ,please .
for the k1 visa interview it better to have all orignal documents or copies are just fine?
I denied 2 times for Business B1 visa . Visa officer can denied if passport validity is less then 1 year.
