No surprise after Phantom to see you killing it as a deformed French character. Along those same lines, I’d really like to hear you sing Made of Stone from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
For years I have thought, "I bet Ramin Karimloo would do a brilliant job with 'If I Can't Love Her'." Today my years of waiting have been justified. Bravo, sir. Bravo.
Interesting, Ramin’s version is a full step higher than the original ending in G4. Very smart of him to change the key to fit the strengths of his tenor voice.
What amazes me about Ramin is how naturally he sings. One issue a lot of singers (myself included….big time lol) is OVER breathing. We hear “breath support! Support! Support!!!” so much as singers that many times we default into taking SOOOOO much more air than is needed and end up over blowing notes. We take big gulping gusts of breath for a 8-12 bar phrase. Watching Ramin and how effortlessly he sings, he’s just breathing as he is speaking. Calm. No huge gasps of air and forcing too much air pressure across the folds. Just calm, speaking breaths and glorious control of his instrument. So amazing

But yes, my bucket list now includes seeing him perform live........and possibly joining him. But for now I'll make due with the minor lift in my spirits, which can be
Hollywood has a serious problem. This guy could do millions just singing One note. With the Phantom they made him play Christine's father, and no Gerald in this world can even come close to Ramin. In Les Mis you can see him at the Oscars, and no Hugh can even come close to Ramin. In the beauty and the Beast he was involved in the workshop, and no Dan can even come close to Ramin. This guy here Is the real jean Valjean, the perfect Beast and the ONLY Phantom. After him, only boredom.
Oh MY GOD! That was even more powerful than I'd imagined. I played the role of the Beast in 2017 in a community theatre production of Beauty and the Beast and I actually modelled my Beast around Ramin's Phantom. This song got everyone crying right from the first time I performed it in rehearsal. To hear Ramin singing it now - I'm lost for words
Ramin would have been a great Beast. It would have been amazing to see him cast as Beast instead of Dan Stevens. It could have made the movie that much more better.

Ugh this and after love never dies. He truly remains my favorite male singer. The way he sustains long notes always brings tears to my eyes and a whole world of imagination.
Phantom vibes there at the end. I absolutely love when you do that hard rasp, it sounds so passionately evil. And I would really love to hear you sing scar's song from the lion king, your voice and humour would do very well on that song 😄❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I was JUST thinking about Beauty and the Beast the other day out of the blue. What an amazing coincidence this drops at the same time. Such a lovely rendition of one of my favorite songs. Very moving and It looked like Mr. Karimloo was really feeling it at the end. It's a very moving song to get into the headspace of since it's more romantic in the classical sense than raw passion or pure angst. It can be a very interesting song and this is a subtle and intimate performance of it. It really does sound like a disappointing self-realization rather than a desperate declaration, and I love that a LOT.
Such a stunningly lovely song by Ramin. I just sat back and felt my blood pressure go down listening to his wonderful rendition. No doubt, he's the very best. Would love to hear him do "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers. I was listening to it yesterday, and thought how beautiful it is, and wondered how Ramin would sound doing it.

There's not the slightest trace
Of anything that even hints of kindness
And from my tortured shape
No comfort, no escape
I see, but deep within is utter blindness
Hopeless
As my dream dies
As the time flies
Love a lost illusion
Helpless
Unforgiven
Cold and driven
To this sad conclusion
No beauty could move me
No goodness improve me
No power on earth, if I can't love her
No passion could reach me
No lesson could teach me
How I could have loved her and make her love me too
If I can't love her, then who?
Long ago I should have seen
All the things I could have been
Careless and unthinking, I moved onward
No pain could be deeper
No life could be cheaper
No point anymore, if I can't love her
No spirit could win me
No hope left within me
Hope I could have loved her and that she'd set me free
But it's not to be
If I can't love her
Let the world be done with me.
