@@Emperorerror He slept with his "best friend's" girlfriend. He is weak and has no honor. This is why she doesn't respect him, because he is the type of guy who commands no respect.
Vernice and Chun have by far the best relationship here ever. I just feel like their both so wholesome and honest with one another without biting each others heads off 😅
Chun and Vernice were unexpectedly my favorite couple. They definitely love each other and I hope they’re able to create a safe space in their relationship to have difficult conversations (especially with BLM for Vernice and Chun’s family not being supportive). Pleasantly surprised to see that they’re married ❤
I disagree, I think Vernice shrinks herself, dims her light for the sake of that "relationship", in a way that I don't see Chun doing for her (Chun's energy just seems blah compared to hers in general). And from his racist family not accepting her and him not even calling it what it really is (dread to think if they have children, would the Asian grandparents reject the children too because they are Black?), Down to him saying she should be more "active" on a public platform, when he himself isn't active, without regard for her feelings as a woman. Then there is the fact that Chun isn't fully understanding of the racism Black people face (echoes back to how he is handling the situation of his racist parents), so much so that when it came to protesting for the human rights of Vernice and other Black people, instead of him understanding and supporting her 100% he is questioning her motives and her "head space" like she is crazy for protesting for her rights as a human. She can do better, I think in some ways she's like Ezequiel (though not to the extent of Vernice, ps Ezequiel kind of has similar mannerism as Prince the singer lol), He and Vernice can do better than the people they are with but they have such low self esteem that they've chosen relationships less what they are worthy of. They both deserve to be in relationships where they are fully accepted and get to show up as their whole authentic selves, without fear they are not enough or can't even advocate for their human rights without being questioned because they really are beautiful and I think have more to offer than who they've chosen to partner with and because of that she's shrinking to match Chun's energy.
To sum it up, I think he is irrational when it comes to understanding and supporting her wants and needs, even the most basic ones like her needing to show up and be her full self without him treating her or allowing others to be treated like an alien. He even sometimes twists it so that she feels like she's the one who is being irrational for wanting and deserving those fundament needs met.
Shadi was being shady 😂 but for real her communication is NOT good. Very passive aggressive and he clearly needs someone who can have open and accepting conversations
well, she said that they've both gained relationship weight and that Anthony had complained about gaining it, so that's why she said yes. Anthony could've said yes as well but didn't.

I wouldn't necessarily say she's right or wrong though... diversity at the very least does seem to introduce complexity, diversity of thought and culture that is, which sometimes goes hand in hand with race.
I love this couple, but Chun's family probably would like for Vernice to be more modest in her dressing. Although culture plays a big issue, I hate seeing women exposing themselves this way.

Jubilee I gotta say, I LOVE this new show. I noticed how with Spectrum people will look at everyone else when choosing where to stand. This takes that away and simplifies things to a yes or no. Whenever a couple answers a question while looking at each other, I feel there's more of a connection. Whenever someone answered and looked at the host, it was so awkward. She admitted that they have both gained relationship weight but he vocalizes his insecurities about it . She’s comfortable with herself. So the issue is the insecurity not his actual weight … there was nothing hypocritical about what she said … she’s just not likable so there’s an issue with everything she says

Shadi is my best friend, she explained further on it it wasn't shown, but i agree she worded it improperly, that with more diversity comes more complexities and we are opening the world up to new conversations new perspectives and people are talking about it but not doing anything to actually change how the world deals with the new dynamics and challenges that come with trying to get people to see a new mindset.
Quote on quote? Wouldn't that be "quote unquote"? And wouldn't it be redundant to type that out if the reader can see it already? Oh well. Even this comment is redundant. I'm gonna go touch some grass.
I don't think they'd be on this show if they were the type to have these conversations in private lol (also yes ^ it is indeed quote unquote, and it is redundant)
Ezequiel and Alondra are a genuinely bright couple, so caring and sweet with each other. Having your partner's family not accept you sucks and is scary. Just any drama period with your partner's family is sad. It can usually lead to the breakdown of the relationship.
Same, I love them. They seem to have alot of chemistry 💞 you can feel the love they share with each other from through the screen

I don't know Shadi and I intend to cut her a lot of slack. Let's just say she is unsatisfied with the relationship. Maybe find an adventurous outdoors kind of person who wants to go off grid. Men like that do exist.
2/3 paragraphs of your response explained why you "cut her some slack" 😂
but yeah i fully agree with you, just a funny note
Shadi we know it's you 🤣
it’s not her, shadi is my best friend and her tone can definitely come across offputting but she wanted to open and honest
@@planetveenus1 Shadi, it's getting too obvious now 😂
yea people just want someone to demonize every video
Devon and Jammie were my favorite couple followed by Chun and Vernice. And big respect to Devon and Chun for being so smart and matured in their response and how they protected their partners. Social and situational awareness they showed was 🔝🔝
They all was entertaining. Lovely episode
It's Jennie actually but I agreed on the couple rank
I hope Anthony & Shadi went absolutely wiiilldd when they got home from filming this 🤣
Lmao, you know she chewed him out over not agreeing she is better in bed and not wanting to move to a gd forest in the middle of nowhere away from all the 'diversity'.

6:10 would’ve BROKEN ME
this is the most uncomfortable thing to watch and the host makes it so much worse 😭
True
It really ain’t
the weight one had me scared😭
No the host made the best of it imo
and by worse you mean better right 😂 his side eyeee
I would love to see this done again with couples who has been together longer. 10+ years. Relationships and dynamics can change so much with age
Alondra and Ezequiel are so CUTE💗
the way he started describing her it really made them tear up🥺🥺🥺
They were cute until Alondra said she would leave him if he was the woman and exercised his womanly right to abortion.
@@elin_ frrrr🙄❗️
@@elin_ I mean it’s her choice about being pro-life though
@Michelle-rdz17 yes, but she wouldn't respect his choice if he was the one with the womb.
@Sara-961 He isn't. It's the double standard that's ironic. If he had the womb she'd leave him.
Vernice and Chun have a very common problem with the family thing. This is why I always have long talks with my friends especially of different cultures. So it wasn't shocking to me when Chun said his family felt that way because usually the most accepting race, outside their own, would be caucasian. And even then they sometimes don't even want that.
Vernice is SO damn attractive, Chun is very lucky! 😳🔥
@9:08 " I don't find joy". Same. Same. They should try playing a sport together!
