Great look into the massive and very confusing world of mixed media journals. Unfortunately joggles are not here in the uk but I think they look like a great alternative to the bound journal, as you have said the quality of both the dyan reeveley and Dina wakely ones are brilliant but they do crocodile mouth if you have used a lot of dimensional media. Thank you for showing us all of your journals and sharing your experience with them x
I love joggles journals! I have purchased a bunch from them and I have even made my own by using the discs from the happy planner line and they also have a punch so you can make the holes in the paper for the rings. I would love to see a studio tour and art supply collection. I think a lot of people would love to see what you have and how you store it! Hopefully you will make a video with your supplies. I’ll be patiently waiting lol. Love all your art btw ❤️ it’s very inspiring 💗!
Thank you for the link to this video! Never knew there were so many choices. Very interesting as you explained about all the bindings and pros and cons. I do have two pads of watercolor paper and now thinking how I can use them to start to put together a journal. I think it would be fun to take techniques I see for mixed media, and especially yours, and do sample pages! Sounds like fun to me to get started with, right? I don't want to stress myself out to the point of not starting. Lol lol. Xx
yes you could make your own art journal with watercolor paper pads and I have a lot of videos on my channel about art journaling. I have a playlist just for art journaling that will help take that stress away. I also have videos about each mixed media product and what they are for. Just go for it wihtout stress. Just experiment for fun!! as all you loose is a page if you don't like it but it's just so freeing.
