I so appreciate you sharing your process. I am an artist finishing my psychology degree in order to go on to my art therapy degree and I have been needing a process that works more seamlessly and allows me to be mindful with my art while being so rigorously focused on school, this is perfect and I feel like this will be with me for a long time!
Thanks for your thoughtful sharing, Tania! I’m so glad this feels like a supportive practice you can return to again and again as you continue with your schooling and path. ✨☺️
These are womderful. I would like to see you doing it and your actual process instead of just the finished piece. Not sure how a prompt then should inspire me to create, i think id just be blank. Gonna look for more demonstration on your channel. Thx for this I love it
Thanks so much, Daniela. You can see some follow along videos in my playlists. I also walk you through guided, in-depth demos in my online classes, found at: learn.mindfulcreativemuse.com (link on the top of my RUclips Channel Page).
I am so blocked! I am 3 1/2 years in recovery and dealing with ptsd in a major way. I love these suggestions and I love your choice of words ( allow, permission). I feel like I need to just do anything like this without judgment towards myself.
My heart goes out to you, Reina. 💖 You're not alone in feeling blocked! Thanks for your vulnerable and courageous sharing. I hope you're getting some good support from people in your life. I'm so happy these practices resonate with you. I love that our art journal can be a small place where we can practice being kind to ourselves. So glad you're here!
Thanks so much for making all these videos, Cynthia! The quality of the videos makes them easy to watch, and your organized, calm manner of presenting makes me think I might actually be able to do something like this. :) Thanks again for creating such quality content!
Hi Sean, my hope is these prompts spark creative expression for you! You're welcome to self-reflect or interpret your own mark making, but it's not required or an expectation. If you'd like to learn my favorite (and simple) way to interpret and make meaning of your art making, I share my 4-step writing process in my online Mindful Mandalas Workshop.
