Please, tell me what is your complete exact setup (from downpipe to rear tips). Is it a magnaflow catback with resonator deleted or you just installed a Magnaflow muffler and remove the OEM resonator? I want to buy all the necessary parts to obtain EXACTLY the same sound with my GLI VR6 24v. :)
Hey Jack! I love the video and I was thinking of doing this on my own 2003 manual transmission VR6 GLI. Out of curiosity, I was wondering if you could let me know which magna flow muffler you picked up? And also, have you noticed any bad vibrations at highway cruising speeds? Thanks so much.
@@JohnKaufmann what was the drone like? be honest, i dont mind. i am thinking about doing more work to my car. already removed suitcase and got slight drone with the mufflers i swapped to(idk if they had anything to do with it, maybe..). was considering either deleting or replacing the 2 resonators right after cats with pipe or cherrybombs to allieviate some drone hopefully, but still being louder and not too raspy.
@@flute136I ran a magnaflow muffler with no resonator it definitely droned while cruising on the highway, I got sick of it after two years now I run it with a resonator. Its definitely not as loud but still is loud when you want it to be.
Can you tell the exact model of the muffler? And is it cat delete? The burble sound you got on RPM drops is beautiful. I thought that we have to remove the cat to obtain this kind of sound.
I removed my center resonator and i could hear that. More after i replaced mufflers wirh straight through styles. I think its an engine thing that noise.
@@shouclak barely. Do it. It was the best single thing i did to my exhaust. You will hear your exhaust now with windows down and it gives a nice growl when accelerating with low gas pedal
@@flute136 Thanks for the response! I hear already my exhaust note cuz I have a magnaflow catback but I always want MORE sound ;) Presently, my car sounds like this : ruclips.net/video/ulV_7RHrSro/видео.html
@@shouclak damn dude i found my way back around here and listened to your car again and i really want my car to sound like that. can you describe what your exhaust setup is like? please note the amount of resonators and mufflers, as my car is dual exhaust so it has double the stuff but i could always just delete it LMAO

Your car sound amazing bro 😍 ! Did you only delete the oem res or it’s full stainless between cat and muffler ?
No better sound and setup. I had same model n set up. Jus 1 year older and silver on 18in. Brocks. Miss that beauty.
Full Magna flow system.

PLEASE tell me what the part# is 😩 I've been on the search for the perfect muffler for too long now
#15667 on Magnaflow’s website
What muffler is it
15667 magnaflow
Catback magnaflow or just magnaflow muffler?
Just the muffler.
Jack Kaufmann sounds great brother. I have a mag a flow muffler will do ASAP
Did you send ur ecu in for a tune?
had it flashed by EPG Motorsports in Milwaukee
I run a similar setup and my car is no where near as loud
Why do these sound so much like V6s when the exhaust ports are all on one side
Because it is in fact a 6 cylinder. Just at a 15° angle.
@@gregoryrobbins5320 theoretically then it should sound like an inline 6?
@@nilssjoberg2522 it’s the firing order, they don’t all fire in sequence like an inline 6, they fire at weird opposite times and ends of the engine
