Just buy a desk in local IKEA for like 30 bucks and it will literally be much more stable, this is a joke for such an expensive "gaming gear", ridiculous.
At over $400 and the claims made by the company, it shouldn't wobble near as much. I really think this thing will tank with most users. That wobble is killer, and not everyone wants their desk pushed against the wall. I was really excited when they announced this as I love their chairs, but their announcement was a huge disappointment. It's worth mentioning that the bumpers, which appear to be the only effective way to address the wobble are sold separately and have not yet been released. Despite the desk only being in the pre-order stage, they have already sold out of the other accessories shown in the video that you would need to make the most of the desk. Big letdown, but I hope it starts a trend in the industry of rethinking/re-designing the PC desk.
I’d be putting it flush against a wall (unlike some this video) so wobbling wouldn’t be an issue. I understand some people may not do the same though. Although I’ve yet to use a desk that doesn’t wobble when I bang my chair into it while getting into W comfortable position.

this looks really wobbly, weak, its far too slim, depth is really something you need, this length is also small, that leather will crack if you clean using wipes eventually most likely, they have created a perfect product for hypebeast types and influencers, all gimmicks.. I can get a large sturdy desk with depth for like 250 usd.
Yup, I have the Linnmon and 2 Alex drawers. With furniture pads between the drawers and table it's rock solid. I also love that it's modular so there's no having to periodically tighten screws or hearing metal creak. And for $200 you won't find a desk with more table space and storage. I totally get now why it's such a popular desk.

Received mine at the weekend. Can confirm that the wobble is still a thing, I have a skirting board at the bottom of the wall so it wont go flush to the wall. I have to stack the 4 bumpers together meaning I need like another 3 packs of them.
You said monitor arm. I don't see anything on this desk that allows you to mount your monitor on the desk. Correct me if I'm wrong. Can you place the mount on the back inside? If not, this desk doesn't work for me. For the price tag it's definitely not worth it. Way to expensive.

Price ranges between £75-150, but the way you reviewed this has made me really want this so much. Long term and time wise sorting out cables etc, this is legit a no brainer. Awesome vid

how big is your monitor? getting either the new Alienware QD-OLED or Samsung when it's out. 34 ultrawide. what I'm not sure about is if i could possibly fit having a galaxy tab 8 plus standing next to it
imo they should make it height adjustable and make it more stable (thicker legs could be a solution) if they incorporate these things into the desk it would basically be the ultimate desk
This is a really good desk, unfortunately if you choose a sheet and a cable management kit you are already at 600 euros and you don’t even have the lighting kit yet. This is a absolutely ridiculous price for a simple metal desk. You can have 3 custom built wooden desk for this money…
👍 props for putting your full weight on the desk. Desk is a bit too small (not deep enough) and wobbly for my liking but I'm eyeing the Magpad for my more substantial workbench with a metal top. Do you think the Magpad would work fine on a larger metal surface?
For the price they should include all the accessories, the other problem it haves is you can't really use monitor as that clamp down because of the way they made the backside. Is it really worth the price that went you take all that in consideration tho?
To anyone interested, don't. The legs are shit. Even if they fixed the wobble a bit the overall design is structurally weak. One wrong hit and that desk is toast. With metal that breaks in a way you can't repair without a regular tradesman's tools.
Ok at the end of the day it's a 55" desk (4.9 feet) and that's not very big..Yes there are a bunch of cool stuff but the hidden wires etc but at the end of the day you could probably do all the same stuff with a bigger desk
How are you gonna say the build quality is impressive when it shakes like that? 😂 Even Ikea tables don’t shake like that, and they cost a fraction of this junk
This isn’t the way you’re supposed to set up the desk. The flap opens for a reason. You have the equipment to far back. All the wires were suppose to go in the flap for easy access. notice this video is about a year old. Hope you figured that out eventually

I like when gaming desk is not too much odd shape like z or t or whatever legs they called. This looks simple but great! The magnetic system is awesome and smart.
Those bumpers seem like such a crucial piece when this desk is so unstable and yet you can't even order them yet. Also, I'm rather disappointed that this desk lacks a raised platform off the ground for your gaming pc so that you can use most of the rear desk space for 2-3 monitors. Also, said platform would likely give this desk a bit of stability at least on whatever side it's mounted to.
my gaming desk cougar mars is more stable but the rgb on it isnt hide it can hurt your eyes directly unfortunatly but im thinking to change it by the secretlab desk

WARNING FOR OTHER CONSUMERS: Mine MAGNUS desk arrived in the most damaged box I've ever seen, it was missing the instructions, parts list, and the mounting blocks. Without the mounting blocks I cannot mount the under storage for cables, so the whole point of the desk is moot. When I reached out to their support team, they asked me to send a picture... which I cannot, as the parts are missing. I then tried to do a return, and their website sent me an automated message saying they are experiencing high volumes. I have yet to receive a means of returning this desk with missing parts. Poorly executed roll out of what appeared to be a great product. Hope you avoid the headache they've caused me.

Time will tell about the leather desk mat, but I think they've done really well with the magnetic ecosystem of accessories

Its a nice desk, but a wee bit wobbly to be honest. The traditional ikea setup with 2 alex drawers and countertop will not wobble like that.

Every time you touch that desk it wobbles all over the place. For this price, that thing should be rock solid.
He didn't adjust it it comes with a tool since not all floors are even
reason for me not to buy it .... its so annoying when ur screen wobbles around just by an unintentionally push against the table...
Go on the website or look at the product video... They show you how to level the desk because each leg is able to be slightly adjusted.

As long as it's metal, it should work! Make sure the desk is bigger than the pad though

I just bought an real wood tabletop for 180$ and put X shaped Aluminum lega on it . That thing costs around 300$ and doesnt move one inch.

@4:14 you open it up incorrectly. The documents clearly state to open from the sides because you can pitch or break your fingers. Be careful!
