Some have suggesting there might be wobble, especially when the desk is not placed against the wall using the supplied bumpers. Is this the case? I am very interested in this product, but a desk of this price and without motorized height-adjustment should be rock solid in any orientation.
There are leveling screws on current desks; if your floor isn't perfectly level adjustments may be needed.
The wobble is from having it on top of the carpet.
this expensive table wobbles AF.. not great value
is the whole desk made of metal? or is there some MDF (fake wood) and on the Desk pad. is it full leather and magnets, or is there also rubber?
Asking because I'm allergic to those 2, so need to know before buying.

Main problem for me is some monitor arms don’t work on it.
Definitely looking to pick this up in 2022. Hope you will do an updated review. I do worry about how wobbly it is. Just looking at videos, it seems like there is a lot of wobble in the monitors.
It helps to put against the wall using the bumpers

I do that. I build a nice plywood desk myself for $350 L shaped custom fit in my house with LED under lighting, black painted, and drink holder, full cable management as well… looks just like this one only better.

It looks like they should've rolled the front edge to put less stress on your wrist/arms. It also looks too tall in our video. I'm judging that based on your elbow position when holding the mouse.

No it’s easy. Check secret lab youtube channel and they have a full tutorial saying how
@@QuickVibe1 they show only the monitor arm not mic arm. Was planning on buying it and planning to put the mic arm on the side of the table not to the back of the table(since I have 2 monitor)

When you attack the desk pad the 2 ends are made of metal (the magnets) you just put the mic arm to the side
just wish the table wouldnt be so wobly for that price tag

Its a neat desk but the basic leather pad should be included with it for free permanently. Its not worth $70 to buy it for it. Nice yes, but not worth it.

I honestly thought it was going to be more then that. I mean would if the desk is good enough I already spent $425 on a chair from Secretlab. But my current desk is more the good enough and I see no reason to upgrade.
Dude wooden desks that size are like 350 and break down over time and need to be replaced.
I need something with good quality to put my 5k gaming pc.

It's designed to work perfectly with their chairs height, so wouldn't make sense to be a standing desk

Warning for other consumers: Mine MAGNUS desk arrived in the most damaged box I've ever seen, it was missing the instructions, parts list, and the mounting blocks. Without the mounting blocks I cannot mount the under storage for cables, so the whole point of the desk is moot. When I reached out to their support team, they asked me to send a picture... which I cannot, as the parts are missing. I then tried to do a return, and their website sent me an automated message saying they are experiencing high volumes. I have yet to receive a means of returning this desk with missing parts. Poorly executed roll out of what appeared to be a great product.
I've seen a lot of people complain of roughly-treated Magnus shipments. Mine arrived this week (18 March 2022) and is in pretty good shape. This is an EXTREMELY heavy shipment; UPS did a great job. Possibly other drivers were taking out their feelings on the carton.

If you don't also appreciate things like quality mechanical watches. I had to remove the magnets from my Secret Labs chair after having to retime several watches. Crazy they didn't realize people that like premium desks and chair also like premium things like mechanical watches.

What makes it advance? Design from Ikea? Or $60 dollars basic LED? Or is it $19 magnets that sell for $4 on eBay? Or the price tag?

If you want a sturdy desk with no wobble, get a Linnmon table top and 2 Alex drawers from Ikea. Only $200, 10 drawers of storage, lots of desk space, very sturdy, and modular. Just make sure to apply 4 stick-on furniture pads to the tops of each Alex unit so you don't scratch the table top.

The fact that they sell everything separate sucks 450 is already a high price but the fact that its only for the bare minimum when the ads for it make it seem like the whole package sucks I was like maybe because I like how it looks but then went to check out the desk and it was like $600+ for everything and for just a desk idk that is a stupidly high price
Desks aren't usually cheap unless you go ikea, any average office desk made out of quality wood is usually 500+ I don't see an issue with the price honestly.

@@luisroman2144 I said made of quality material, not fiberboard, quality office grade desks are around 500 and into the thousands depending of materials used.
