This is a sample pack for you to use in your own music however you would like, I mainly sampled it for my own usage, but thought others might get something out of it too. If you release music using these samples, feel free to credit me if you'd like. Don't repackage these samples and sell them as your own.
Rival Plate is another DIY electroacoustic instrument I've created to accompany the Time Plate. It consists of a larger metal plate wrapped in rubber shelving liner and black burlap secured tightly to a wooden frame A contact microphone is duct taped to the underside of the plate.
This sample pack consists of 50 one shot samples of various objects hitting the Rival Plate including:
Yarn wrapped marimba mallets of different sizes
Rosewood xylophone mallets
Vibraphone mallets
Drum Sticks
Paint Brush
Plastic beads
Fingers
Fingernails
