To think that I was 4 years of age when this was on TV. I Love the "natural need" in this song. The vocal part is perfectly in tune with "Feel". A great example of self expression. He is really feeling the words. Great writing, Great production. My Students are all good at nailing the notes with feel, but that needing feel has to be worked on. One of my favorite videos. The surreality (if that's a word) of life. Here are these beautiful women, could have worked side jobs at the Playboy Club or something. Hot ladies in their prime, stylish and fashionable, the world revolving around them, And they're all at least in their mid 70's now if still alive. They are OLD people now. Elderly That is surreal. Time flies

Ervin Drake wrote the English lyrics to this song, Pat was the first to sing this English version in '62, the original song is an Italian song written by Alberto Testa

Well thought out response, Space Altlas. Do a little reading about Ronald Reagan from the 1950s through his election in 1980 before you react without thinking. But then again, that is the essence of Leftism: reaction without thinking.
well that's a pretty big claim to make, spcially considering all the competition: Kennedy, Roosevelt, FDR, Ike, El BJ (now you can never unhear it), Wilson, Truman... Whatever your inclination, that is a long list of big names, some of which had ofucsed their entire careers to being president (can't speak for Ike, who came from the military and probably didn't think about it before WWI, unlike TR who dedicated his entire life to being the incarnation of awesome in his time and fuck the world's vagina with his grand american dong).

Humperdinck, Matt Monroe, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra. Ahhh the classics. Voices worthy to be heard on the halls of Heaven.
How you call this musical gender off all this singers you mentioned it, jazz? Blues or what?

Sometimes labeled 'Pops' or 'Big band pops.' That also includes the great Shirley Bassey.
Mate, I am aussie, from Bundaberg Queensland, Englebert is my absolute idol.
This man is a gift from India to the world among many. These moves in his early days are the same as Amitabh Bachchan, famous Indian actor.
Great singer, gorgeous dancers. The whole performance is so sensual, but classy and tasteful at the same time...
Yes, nobody dropping it like its hot or twirling. I love the old stuff.
wow, those women look so strange with their "no hips" bodies. Like our days' transvestites. Not pretty :(( His voice is very pleasant though
@@panchitaobrian1660 Back then women wanted trim derrieres, not big baboon butts. As to the trans dancers, I see very slim to quite curvy women and all look lovely.
,
indeed ...
Game Night! Just watched it and had to play this. What a TUNE!!!!!
I’m really impressed by the beauty standards back then
Yeah women are filthy now
And not a lot of tats on those ladies..
Just heard this song so searched for it.. stunned to find it's Englebert Humperdink..
It's glorious..
Why do you wish people would stop talking about his good looks. He is gorgeous and very very talented. Pleasure to watch his concerts. Missed the opportunity to see him perform in person. My loss
He’s doing a farewell tour in the UK (London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow) in September
They actually love learning this song and if you need it transformed into a key that better suits your voice, I can help you with that as well. Thanks for posting this Video.
Listen to these old songs takes me back to when my whole family used to sing his songs together at Christmas time ,really nice memories ,now in 2022 the world has changed so much I only have my mom left now ,how I wish I could turn back the clock thanks for the memories Engelburt
Time flies
His wife suffers from dementia and he is so devoted to her. I recently saw an interview with him at his home and there was no hiding his love for her. Such a lovely man who doesn't carry a big ego like many celebs.
She died few time ago
Just discovered that Pat Boone wrote Quando. I used to see Pat playing as a soda jerk on WBAP Channel 5 in Ft. Worth when I was a teenager. Always liked him and his mellow voice.
Ervin Drake wrote the English lyrics to this song, Pat was the first to sing this English version in '62, the original song is an Italian song written by Alberto Testa
I saw him in concert a few years back and by god he can still sing!
He could have been a James Bond.
Reagan was an actor not a President jeje
He did a A LOT after his acting career and before he was elected President to demonstrate that he had the ideas, the demeanor, and the ability to be President. He was the most well thought and well prepared President of the 20th Century. So go back under your 3rd World rock
Nick83Fairfax Believe it or not! After your comment I did a little research about R. Reagan and your are totally right. Thanks
I grew up with this wonderful voice! Why can't we have great music &singers like him today?
When I watch this, ALL of my problems disappear. ALL of them. Can we please go back to that year, the age of innocence?
Вот что такое молодость гениального исполнителя! У нас в России в 60-х появилась его пластинка, и стало нам ясно, что где-то в мире существуют такие же значительные исполнители, как наш Магомаев.
happy birthday Engelbert. You were my favorite singer, when i was 17 or so. Even bought vinyl records.
Dude dances like me at my Bar Mitzvah, but damn, what a voice.
What a song, guys this is not only rhythmic, but also passionate.
Tell me when will you be mine
Tell me quando, quando, quando
We can share a love divine
Please, don't make me wait again
When will you say yes to me?
Tell me quando, quando, quando
You mean happiness to me
Oh, my love please tell me when
Every moment's a day
Every day seems a lifetime
Let me show you the way
To a joy beyond compare
I can't wait a moment more
Tell me quando, quando, quando
Say it's me that you adore
And then, darling tell me when
Every moment's a day
Every day seems a lifetime
Let me show you the way
To a joy beyond compare
I can't wait a moment more
Tell me quando, quando, quando
Say it's me that you adore
And then, darling tell me when
Oh, my darling tell me when
Mmm, my darling tell me when
When?
I miss shows like this. Variety shows too. This reality tv is crap.
Agreed
I would love to meet the 310 people who give this song the thumbs down. I have always loved this song and the artist. Owned it on CD many moons ago.

I used to laugh at this song!
I loved all his stuff, now I get this one!
Lovely early performance of Engelbert when he was oh so shy! BTW Enge is a tremendous entertainer and superb performer live. He can really dance and has a fantastic voice with a really superb range. Absolutely lovely person too. Been so fortunate to see him many times and to have met him and he's really specail. (Certainly not gay either looking at a few comments just to clear that one up!). Gorgeous!
大好きな曲です!
日本の車のTV CMでも使われていて、それで聴いたことあります!
カラオケでも歌った事があります!
🙂🤪
I wish they have shows like this today.
The Best Music of the 1960s and 1970s -- What they call "music" today cannot even hold a candle to this REAL MUSIC from our generation. Seriously.
Well Said Brenda.Couldn't agree more.
He was adorable, not frightening at all

No one can sing this song as are great as Englebert , what a beautiful voice...
Great song great voice
Those dancers were wonderful
Thank you so much for posting this GEM...........AMAZING SONG from an AMAZING SINGER Engelburt! 🎸💚
No les entiendo nada pero se que están publicando muy buenas cosas de el, a mí me encanta .
Leicester is the place to be: great football, great crisps ..... and Enge the man !!
You know
2:09 The dark haired girl to his left = absolute perfection.
She is my favorite too.
He is 6'1' so they had to bring in some 5'9"- 5' 10" gals so he wouldn't tower over them too much. And good lookers too.
Great treat you had. He’s been my favorite for so long. Can never stop listening to him. He’s the best
My grandmother's favourite. He would have made a great James Bond!
Sure..much more good looking than late connery, australian lazemby and welch timoty dalton
It's 2023 and some songs never get old, no matter how much time passes....
This guy had a great voice
STILL HAS! Yes, he's still around and singing 👏💖
Watching again. i would love to go back and relive the 60-70's great music.
I love country music, what is your favorite song?
Just found out Engelberrt Humperdinck is still alive! I'd love to see him perform the Eduard Khil "trollolololol" song (i.e. "I Am Very Glad, as I'm Finally Returning Back Home") before he passes away
He is going on tour again look it up on ticket master selling tickets now.
Cuando, cuando, cuando, Spanish .. quando, quando, quando, Italian.. all good, nice memories. He is 86 now I am 75..
Let's hear it for the Welch people and their great voices. Tom Jones, Dame Shirley Bassey, Engelbert Humperdinck, Richard Burton (not a singer but great narrator voice none the less) Charlotte Church and many more.
I didn't know Leicester was in Wales.
His father is of Welsh decent his mother German. Doesn't matter where he grew up he's got Welsh in his blood and those genes have some strong voices regardless.
Fuck off, my Missus mum is Welsh and she can't keep a tune. He's fucking English get used to it. My Grandad Irish and I hate booze.
You had better get a DNA test then because no proper Irishman hates booze.
derryk1 I'm not Irish I'm English. The rest of my Grandparents are English. I think I get my argumentative side from my Grandad, that miserable old sod would cause shit in an empty house.
AWESOME, THIS GUY IS UP THERE WITH THE GREATEST PERFORMERS OF HIS GENERATION. WHAT'S MORE IMPRESSIVE IS THAT HE STILL HAS LOTS OF FANS WORLWIDE TODAY IN ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD
The shows of past times such as this were so entertaining.....the melodious songs, the beautiful dancers and the well choreographed dances made the dhow so appealing.
I re-discovered this song from watching a K-Drama called Our Blues. Great memories of the old times watching this video. The K-Drama Our Blues is worth the watch if you are into K-Dramas.
It was the best of times back then . Wish I could turn back those happy days. Music was really music and rythum and every artist had a great hit song on the radio from elvis to enbelbert to tom jones, the beatles ,the rolling stones, the beach boys, diana ross, lesile gore ,oh so so many. I could go on and on. Tney were all so fabulous. So glad I grew up with all that wonderful music. Nanette

OMG: I just realize that us baby boomers may have lived thru the golden age of mankind. We had clean air and water, blue skies, employment, cars, travel, relative world peace, wonderful music & singers, composers like of Rogers and Hammerstein, L. Webber, many and many other fine artists. We had it all, but left a terrible mess behind!! I hope the current and future generations will be able to solve the environmental problems. On behalf of all the boomers, I apologize to the youth of today and tomorrow.
Yeah right. The Vietnam War. The Cuyahoga River catching fire. People suffocating to death from foul air in London, Love Canal, race riots....Yep, good times, good times.
senior1110 then you fucked it up for all of us
Thanks baby boomers.
senior1110 it's relative
Yup, thank for ruining the world for everyone growing up nowadays. Prop to the boomers.
What an absolutely fantastic entertainer. His voice is in comparable. Just magical. I never get tired of hearing Enge.
Yeah, that’s true and he’s been always on my mind…and also from now on , RIP
My father use to play this music when I was a child. Bring back so much memories.
“Quando quando quando is a bop” - Tim Tracker 2020.
When I grow up, I want to be just like Engelbert.
Watched him in LA when I was there in 1976. Was really very handsome.
