I have an OST file without access to my old exchange account which was deleted. How do I convert the OST into PST for importing into an outlook account? I thought this is what your video would explain but that was not the case.
When you export to a .PST file using this method, the reminders associated with the calendar entries are not exported. Therefore, if you import from this PST file into a new OST file, the calendar entries are imported but all of the reminders are gone. Is there a workaround to this? I noticed if you export to a CSV file, it does export the reminder data.
Thanks for this informative video, but I want exactly the reverse process. i.e. from .pst to .ost file. I was using Office 2016 version and now I have installed 2019 version which works on .OST file extension. Can you please guide? same process works?
@@RayTubeFixes One I could think of is some mail was previously configured with a POP3 protocol, which has its downsides and someone decides to switch it to IMAP which requires OST file to work. Then on the other hand I don't know if you can just configure IMAP mail and drop and replace an OST file like that. It probably won't work.
You can configure Hotmail account exchange account .. other than that purchase office small business licence (would not recommend unless you run a business )

What email account are using .. Hotmail , gmail ?

Gmail does not support exchange account .. it’s supports only IMAP and POP
