I love this. So I ordered the chrome with your link on Amazon. I wanted to sample the different colors so I used the plastic swatch thingys. First I used my efile to remove the shine then I cleaned them with swipes

I love your careful application. Your nails look very natural. So many are just way too thick and just very oddly shaped. The goal should always be your nails but better. I'm glad to hear you like Modelones products. I started using their gel polish and am very happy with their products. I've ordered from them directly and they have some nice discounts but shipping takes forever. Can I ask why one might prefer dip powder over gel?

I think I’ve seen you can do chrome with dip liquids….would you mind doing a video with that method or just chroming without gel. I’m allergic but I’m so in love with this manicure! 😂

So close! Here are the steps: - dip - activate - file/buff - cleanse well with alcohol - gel base and cure 30 - gel top and cure 30 - chrome and cure another 30 - gel base again cure 30 - gel top cure 60
Really like this! Have you ever layered translucent colors to create another color in a venn diagram kind of way? I have an idea in my head for an abstract design of an asymmetrical translucent bright blue blob overlapping an asymmetrical translucent bright pink blob to create an intersection of a purple blob. Not blurred edges like watercolor, nice crisp lines. I'd need to buy bottles for it and don't even know what brand to look at, don't usually do jelly type finishes. I'd love recommendations or to see a vid!
I totally see your vision! I’d definitely suggest jelly colors. Not opaque. So you get that nice mix in between the primary colors. I’ll plan something for after valentines for you!
Oops sorry, here’s the rest of my comment. After cleaning with swipe I used a bonder then rubber basecoat then another layer of tinted rubber base coat then I cleaned the tacky layer and applied the chrome shade. Well 3 of the 6 came out perfect but the other 3 were streaky. The pearly white, rose gold and pink were good. The gold, navy and put are streaky. Any ideas why? Thanks love your videos.
Hey love! I don’t find I need clear under the color at all UNLESS I’m planning to remove the dip by filing off the color. Then I’ll put clear down to protect my natural nails. If you’re doing acetone removal, it’s not necessary 🫶🏻

Hey love! I’m afraid I won’t be much help - I’m not a nail tech so I don’t take clients. As far as time, that totally depends on you but it generally takes me about 45-60 min for a full set like this

It definitely could be the lamp. You want at least 48 watts to cure completely.

It’s not the body chem that the peel off base coat reacts to. It’s the warmth of the water from washing hands dishes or showers.

Is this a no wipe top coat?
I could never do you polishing job. My hands are not steady enough. I flood no matter what I do.
Do I have to use a clear powder after the color powder?
It’s an optional step BUT it adds strength and protects the color when you’re filing/buffing ❤️
