The cabin neon was cut most likely because EA saw 2 fast 2 furious and how Brian's Skyline had blue cabin neon and tried to imitate that, but fell short because of how light works. Brian's Skyline's interior was cool because the neon light would spread inside the car, giving it a blue tint, whereas in Undergrounds 2 cabin neons look like bright colored bars inside the car rather than actual light sources. In the end it's likely they gave up on them because the car interiors were too low-detail to be brought to light anyway.
Hi HIF, mechanic here, an insight into your closing repair shop story. Sometimes when we accept a job and start the repair or examining the process of the repairs more closely we may realize we either underestimated the complexity of the work, can't source the correct parts we need, under-quoted ourselves to the point of the job not being profitable for us or affordable for you. Or require specialized tooling to complete it that we might not be able to source or is too expensive to buy for a one time use. Really enjoyed this episode, sunk many teenage hours into this game.
imagine desert drive and it's dunes may have been why we had suv's, It's possible suv's were required for offroad racing there maybe but were removed because the devs thought being forced to drive a specific vehicle would hinder player choice and instead opted for the optional route for suv's since the models were already finished.
