I watch your channel to get your honest opinion of the model that you're using. Your commentary is just as important, and Abbey's response. Keep both the dialogue (music). I always watch all of your videos, I never get bored.

I think this video was to get a second viewing of the e-flite extra 300 beyond the maiden where he did a review.
This was just some fun 3d flying for our pleasure.

It doesn't matter to me whether you're talking or not, loving what you guys do. When you fly these you make it look so easy, the experience shows us what can be done with an R/C plane and you have fun doing it, and that makes for an awesome video(s). Thanks so much for being here, love your channel.

Just. watching a plane fly without commentary is worthless TO ME. Abby's videos are some of the best that I have seen. The two of you combined are informative, humorous and just fun. I watch your vids to almost the end
This one I would have watched for about 30secs but it took me to the end of the video to write this comment.lol

Hello Nate and Abby, I have been watching all of your videos for a very long time and enjoy them very much! I never leave any comments but I am going to here. I prefer to hear both of your comments as you’re flying! Not only are your videos informative, but very entertaining! Please plan on keeping your comments during the flying demonstrations……as I’m pretty sure it was hard for you not to say anything during these two flights anyway, and I missed the commentary!! You asked so I’m responding. Keep up the wonderful work that the both of you do!

I think one of the reasons we like to watch your video's is because the excitement in your voice when you pull off a stunt, or get surprised by something that happens...that's what makes it so fun! It was ok just watching you fly, but after a few minutes it was just watching a model plain flying around and there was no narrative. It's because of how involved you and Abby get that makes your video's fun...don't change what you do!

I made to the end. Your commentary with the chuckles, explanations of maneuvers, weather factors, etc. and sharing your knowledge is what makes your videos. My home Herd girl Abby’s dialogue and ending the video with praise to God and supporters is a bonus. When you throw it all together is what I feel people connect with. A couple minutes without talking just to hear the plane sounds is enough. Thank you!

I miss flying at a real rc field, I fly at a soccer/baseball field with 6 light poles, a batting cage and trees surrounding the field. Between watching or listening for people and avoiding obstacles, I have to fly higher then I want too and can't go too crazy with my flying. I am a AMA member so I try to follow the safety rules and fly when nobody is around. Yes I do like it better when you and Abby talk, maybe in the future when your kid grows up will join in with you guys!

  • @oftenwrongparadigm

The banter and commentary is what makes the videos worth watching. To satisfy some of the people who don't appreciate the commentary, or to show off the sound of the RC, could you put together secondary videos for popular models or unique items and call them "quiet mode"?

As an experienced pilot, I liked seeing how the plane flew when you wrung it out, which you couldn't do with a plane like this one if you were trying to talk at the same time.
However, other planes like trainers and gliders don't require that much concentration.
Maybe ,just mix it up depending on the plane and the circumstances?
Nice flying, BTW. I saw some very interesting stunts and such -- like that second landing!
Simulators are helpful, but you need to actually fly, too.
Next, just bring all that down lower and closer, and the crowd will go wild! : )

  • @frontprochproduction
    @frontprochproduction 2 года назад +2

Ok, I have to comment. While I do appreciate it when you have a part of your videos where you don't talk but let us hear the plane you are flying as it goes by, it is your comments on the plane that are most important to me. The good, the bad, and even the ugly. When you like something I want to know that. When you don't like something, I want to know that. When you crash or something bad happens, I want to know that, (I might learn from your mistake). I like a little background music, and I love the shots from the chase drone. Anyone can make a video of them flying a plane, but there is only one you. I watch you and another guy on you tube who also does these kinds of videos. The reason why I enjoy both of you is because it is obvious in your videos that you both love this hobby. When you combine that with your knowledge and experience you are able to create very entertaining AND informative video. Just my opinion, for whatever it is worth to you Sir.

    Hi Nate, Hi Abbey
I prefer the commentary so I can share the fun you two clearly have when using RC models.
Been watching your channel from the United Kingdom for well over a year now.
I don't have any RC models of my own, but I can see from you that it is seriousy addictive.
Favourite so far has to be the E Flite A10 Thunderbolt 2. We used to see real A10's on training flights in the UK some 20 or so years ago, and there low passes were spectacular.
I think your channel is great, so please don't change the format !

  • @27niner

Firstly - thanks for asking for feedback. There are so many “ look at me “ videos on RUclips so assessing what your audience like is important if you want to add value. As others have said- constructive commentary is valuable. Whether it is instructional or on model behavior. We can all learn from this.
On models like this I believe you could focus on the award and classic manicures
Having a flight plan - what do I want the audience to get from this clip?- motivation, learning, just for show. Know what you want and be clear in delivering it. Great stuff in any case keep up the videos👌👍

Hey my r/c brother. I've been flying for about 9 months now, you gave me the courage to get out here and to start flying at 40 years old. Me & my father always went to a local r/c airplane show since I was little and he always wanted to fly but thought he was going to bother the guys in the model airplane club if he joined since he had zero experience. Fast forward 35 years later ....I joined that very same club, I had one instructional session with my brand new carbon cub (with safe) and I was hooked! No simulator training, never been on a buddy box, Im a hands on learner and that's what I did. Fast forward another 9 months and my 14 year old son is now flying and is part of the club.😁. We have 8 planes now, some new....some used. (Carbon Cub S2, 64mm edf scorpion jet, arrows Bigfoot, T-28 Trojan Warbird, Cesenna 182 sky trainer, Apprentice sts, Night timber x, and my most recent ...a v22 osprey) my first crash just came last week. I crashed my sky trainer and my t-28 Trojan BOTH IN THE SAME DAY. I was able to pick up the pieces and get them back together. I watch your videos religiously and will continue to do so. God bless you & your family. Go check out my RUclips channel if you would like. It's called "MI.RcLife"

Of course I watched to the end and as always, of course you had my attention! My two cents: It was cool. It reminded me of when my Dad took little me to the RC airport as a kid, no sound other than a little breeze and the sound of an RC motor. On the other hand, I just realized how much I enjoy your knowledge, description of what you are doing and how well (or not) the RC is reacting to your input. It has helped me so much to become a better pilot and chose what I fly. I also enjoy the kind 'banter' if you will, between you and Abby! Awesome flight Nate and great camera work Abby!! Peace...

I always watch your entire videos! This one is no different! That being said, I prefer your commentary on what you are experiencing while flying and you're rating and comments on the plane. That is why I watch your videos. There are tons of videos out there where people just fly (and often with nothing more than a go-pro which I quickly leave), but the interactions between you and Abby are what make your videos more compelling!

Fantastic flight! It's fun to just watch you have fun & not have to worry about explaining what you are doing. With that said I do like having your commentary. It's easier to follow what you are doing in the sky. I will watch your videos either way.

Thanks Jeff! The feedback is very important. I think this is good to know, and this was a fun change of pace but probably not a format we will stick to 👍😁😎⚓️

It would be cool as a summery to a review for like the last 45-50 seconds or before you introduce the plane. Also only on winged vehicles. y'all's personality makes the show great. it's what differentiates y'all.

I like the talking and some music, gives your vids personality. I always stay for the whole video no matter what though.

I always liked hearing what you (or anyone) is doing, half throttle etc. Don't have a clue when it comes to expo and other stuff but this was just too quiet. Nice to hear the plane on the passby though, sounds great!

The only person I can watch while flying and not talking is Jase Dussia! That’s because I’m literally shaking my head! You and Ab let us know what you think good or bad and that’s the energy and reason why I watch y’all. You also have all types of the rc video’s. Jase gets my attention because when he is flying and not talking he is in a different class then anyone else on earth and does things with a plane that is truly an art form from Christ! You and Abby have a great channel with input and is also a art form from Christ!

Excellent camera work Abby! Not knowing what you are going to do next means I have to pay better attention, and Abby. Some talk about it was fine. I watch until the end of the video

I watch all of the videos. I like 👍. I like watching other RUclips videos from others. But I like yours because you're honest reviews. I see others and some still like getting sponsors like favorites of a one company give a best reviews on the company they are getting sponsors. There are so many company's out there that do well .. but you guys do different like your helping out the hobby to get new people into involved in this hobby. Thank you rcsaylors.. keep on talking

I normally watch all the way through. I prefer the conversation during the flight as you tend to be very informative on the aircraft you are flying. Good job guys! I love flying my Extra 300...I use a 4s 4000mAh lipo.

I like it, do maybe 2 vids in one. Talk and fly, then just fly and be shy, all in the same video. It would only lengthen the total vid by a couple or three minutes.
