What's funny is how it seems most of the people in board gaming are downsizing big time and yet every group has that guy who buys every game still

I remember watching your teach/play thru of This war of mine, you guys taught us how to play! Then we played it until we finally won a game, probably 5 times or so. And now I should sell it too. Great experience, just watch the movie the Road and save yourself tons of time

Nice to hear people being real. Not just new game hype,which we are flooded with. Some (all) games deserve a critique. Also, I totally agree about overhyped games like wingspan, and dislike real images from shows being used in games (like startrek panic). Major turnoff for me. Edit: to support your sales, I'll say that many of these are great games, just depends on the player. For instance we love spirit island and that would be an instant buy for me. If I didn't have it. 😊

I love the "emotional detachment" in this video. Life's too short to waste on the chaffs. And I say this as one who loves some of the games you are culling.

Wow. I would never sell my This War of Mine.
I see a lot of culling videos lately and I also see a lot of people at the second hand markets here in AZ culling a lot of games, not sure if its related but I think it may, so many of the more organic channels I follow or used to follow have either stopped making content or their numbers are way way down. Not that numbers are important or matter or judge a channel but still some really good channels that do great organic content and do great playthroughs or how to set up a game seem to have smaller and smaller numbers while these essential infommercial type videos or purely hype video still get these very large numbers if those numbers are real. Even channels that have been exposed for some "sus" practices are still getting big numbers, again if they are real, while so many of the more organic channels have stopped making content or are getting decreasing numbers, again if they are real. Board Game Bollocks seems to be one of the only non hype organic channels that actually seems to be growing, deservedly so his channel is great. The other day I went to a local game night, it was pretty packed, and it was nice to just game and not talk about things that have nothing to do with gaming and no drama about all the BS that seems to engulf too much of board game social media, we just sat down and played games and it reminded me of what the actual hobby is like vs. what you see on X or youtube or other platforms. But again, back to my initial question, if the numbers are real who is watching a 45 minute paid preview with click bait titles of why you should buy this KS/GF game for 45 minute and why are the more "real" channels disappearing or getting decreasing views?

Heroes or Terrinoth is a GOOD game. Reskin of Warhammer Quest. I already own it and totally recommend it. Rococo also a gem
My wife loved wingspan until I played it too much on the app and became unbeatable in real life. Also, in regards to Welcome To. I liked it well enough until I played Welcome to the Moon and it was head and shoulders above the original game. but if you don't care for the flip and writes, nothing to be done there.

Strongly believe Fields of Arle with Tea expansion is better than Feast for Odin. FFO plays too much like “Super Tetris” acquiring item for their shapes versus functionality to fill out Tetris board. Field of Arle for us is more thematic, open sand box.
Will have to look into this.
I do like the open sandbox feel of Arle as well. I just bought Tea and Trade and it adds more to the sandbox essentially.
