Glad we clinched the series vs Arizona, and finished 7-2 on the 9 game 3 series road trip, huge that we got 8-0 shutout without Shohei, to save him for the Braves, Smart move for Dave.
First, I agree with Ohtani day off vs AZ. Ohtani is not a position player so not about getting him off his feet. More so, having Smith in lineup and not catching. This Day off will give Ohtani 2 total days off before series bs Atlanta. Just FYI - Ohtani has a career .333 BA vs Montgomery. So has nothing to do with Ohtani vs Montgomery.
Does the DH really NEED a day off? He looked awful on Tuesday, he was missing almost everything by a full foot. My guess is he is either sick or hurt. Hopefully just sick
@@LockedOnDodgers Not always to rest the body. Sometimes to rest the mind is a bigger reason. I know you guys know that because you take two days off per week (as I always did) and it's not to rest the body.
