24:25 Kuy Chai is a type of Chinese dumpling filled with Chinese chives (a type of vegetable) and sometimes other ingredients like pork or mushrooms. The dumplings are usually steamed or fried and served with a tangy, spicy dipping sauce. It’s a popular snack or appetizer in Chinese and Thai cuisine.
Your adventuresome spirit and willingness to explore take you to so many fascinating places that are completely off the beaten path. You did that in your US travels already, but seem to have taken things up a notch in your travels in Asia. Your videos are always a pleasure to watch. Never change!
This was so awesome I love the Carnival, it was HUGE , like thats almost a state fair size , and those lil rabbits and pigs soooo dang cute ... Wait speaking of State Fairs , was there any booths selling hot tubs ? Cause if so it was a State fair and not a carnival LOL . Their fish game is way different then here in the states , I think I liked theirs better . Great video guys I want to go a street carnival like that.
Haha! Nope, no hot tub dealers. This was probably the best little carbival we had been to. It was tough not leaving with a couple bunnies, a piglet and a tattoo. The self control it took!
Many Buddhist temples have some of Hindu gods and goddesses, like the Buddhist temple at the inception of the VDO clip also. It has a lot of Hindu gods and goddess, eg. the one with ten arms etc. The Buddha statues are only the two standing ones and the baby sitting between the two at the middle of the shrine.
Hinduism and Brahmanism came to Siam (Thailand) before Buddhism. It can be seen from the ancient pagodas or large castles, which are usually built according to Hindu beliefs, and royal ceremonies are usually Brahminical. Therefore, the beliefs of Thai people are a mix. The statue in the video..... Minute 1.10 The one with 10 arms is Shiva. Minute 1.39 has 4 faces, which is Brahma. Minute 1.48 The green body is Indra. All of which are gods according to Hindu beliefs. As for Buddhism, it does not teach about having a gods.
@@TheAdventureCloset It is a Buddhist temple. But the beliefs and sculptures are sometimes mixed. Even many Thais do not understand (especially in the countryside) what is Buddhism, what is Hinduism, what is Brahmanism. What you see Thais worshiping at the Brahma shrine at Ratchaprasong Intersection (near Central World mall), some people do not know or do not even care that it is not Buddhism, but Hinduism. Sometimes you may see people worshiping statues of children, women, trees, or offering soft drinks. Those are personal beliefs that have nothing to do with religion. In Thailand, everything is sacred, except the law (Thai joke).🤣🤣
These temples are crazy many arms and faces and never ending , I like em Yall passed on the worms and bugs ? Pertty cool carnival , Pigs in a skirt dont see that everyday

Maybe the sauce was Chinese then. Do you know what it is made of? It had a molasses taste. Thank you for the comment!

So fun! I'd be taking home a baby bunny in a tut, a piggy & a baby possum!
Those street fairs move about every week to a different city and set up and do it all again…..stop by Hua Hin a couple times a year!😃

Interesting, so this was likely a Hindu temple instead? Thank you for this info.
