I’m 51, and have been using Clinique skin care my whole life. When my children hit the ages where they needed to start using skin care., I got them all Clinique. Including my son. He’s been using the men’s line since he was around 13, he’s now 26.. if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! They’ve been creating such wonderful products forever!
I was taken to the Clinique counter by my mom and grandma when I was old enough to start skincare. I still love the company! There are formulas that leave ( only to reappear at one of the sister companies- so never loose hope) and I had been missing almost lipstick for years. Why black honey was brought back and not any others continues to baffle me, however.
I went hog on Black Honey. I got the lipstick, the lipgloss, the lip oil, the pencil eyeliner, AND the mascara. They need a cheek stick. I was a black honey eye pencil devotee back in the day. Clinique made a Black Honey wooden pencil you had to sharpen way back in the day. I wore mine to the stub. They also had a creamgel liner in a pot in Black Honey. It was like the MAC Fluidline or Bobbi Brown gel liner. It was great but I loved that pencil. Now I’m not young. In fact I’m old. Today I had a doctor’s appointment and the nurse told me I had beautiful eyes. Black Honey liner and mascara! The colors you recommend reflect seasonal shades. Apples. Red pears. Indian corn. Mums.
Hey I really appreciate that you strike a balance of making me want to buy new makeup but also trying something new by sharing trends and techniques with what I already have in my arsenal. You make me want to dive into my stash more often than diving into my wallet (even though you’re good at that, too) and I love that. It reminds me how fun makeup is instead of how many influencers emphasize how fun collecting and the hot new thing is. Thanks for both boo
100% agree on the Black Honey gloss. The Almost Lipstick formula is drying on my lips, but I adore the color Black Honey. I ran to get the lip gloss. It’s not drying, it looks translucent and rain drop-ish on the lips and it stays pretty well for a gloss. ❤
I love fall blush! And I agree with the concept of colors we love but muted. I have a bunch but I also love to add a bit of cream or liquid bronzer to colors that I already love to warm them up for fall. Blush is my favorite beauty product and I love to play with it also.
I love that Clinique sponsored your video! You more than earned it spreading the good word about their brand all these years. Congratulations 🎉 love your content!
Congrats on this sponsorship Amanda! So well deserved! Everything black honey for me in the fall. Been wearing g the lipstick since my 20s and I’m 55 and all my fav colors are variations of it. I love the gloss even more and also the new lip oil. It’s sooooo good!
Thank you for doing this video in terms of types of products, rather than specific products! That makes this type of video feel fresh, and it’s always great to be thinking about makeup I already have that might fit the bill, rather than new products to covet. I’ve always enjoyed your content, but lately you’ve been really knocking it out of the park 💜💜
When I previously dyed my hair (any color of the rainbow, I've done at least once), I found that berry tones like black honey never looked good on me. Now that I've gone back to my natural color, I love those tones! I've never tried black honey, but that gloss is the formula I'm most drawn to. For now, I want to try layering my berry lip gloss over a brown lip stain and see how that turns out!
Love these fall makeup recommendations! 🍂 My go-to fall look is totally inspired by Dana Scully-soft, natural glam with those iconic '90s vibes. Perfect for the season! Thanks for sharing your essentials, I’ll definitely be trying some of these! 💄🍁
The Flower Knows palette that is linked is called Celestial Castle but the one being used in the video is called Stellar Sand. Just wanted to point that out in case someone wanted to buy it based on the video, I don't want them to get the wrong one.
I actually never tired Clinique lip products, but I absolutely love their foundations. Also their eye cream is my absolute favourite. It's about time I'd try the Black Honey.. putting it on my wishlist ❤
Thank u sm for the lip balm recc! I have very dry skin and eczema, and if i miss one night without vaseline my lips peel, crack, flake, and at the worst of time theyve bled. I have to reapply daily, and as long as i do everythings well. But hearing how vaseline is not really a "moisturizer" but a protective "barrier", im going to look into the clinique lip balm.
Honestly the black honey almost lipstick was overhyped to me! I thought it would be glossy, or at least balmy, but it’s just an unpigmented lipstick. I thought the packaging would be luxe, but it’s kind of an un-innovative design. I thought it would have a cherry type scent, but it just smells like old school waxy lipstick. Overall I am so glad I got it at 50% off! I have tried other Clinique products too, and I think they’re very underwhelming or even bad. Happy smells terrible as well lol. 😅 However I do like the Even Better foundation, it’s fantastic! And the cheek pops look like they’re great.
I’m happy to see that Clinique is getting into the influencer game. That’s the only way to stay relevant as a makeup brand these days and as a Gen-x er I would be so sad to see Clinique “retire”.
Hi Amanda, this is a beautiful look on you. I'd love to see you review the Make Heat Stroke Dewy Gel Cheek Tints (especially the shade Scorched). It's so hard to find reviews of these. Thanks for your videos!
I *just* ordered those exact Rhode blushes! I wear these colors all year because they look great on my skin. I am really interested in Phytosurgence too - their shades are very unique but not sure if my skin can handle their formulas.
For me, the black honey is too dark (high contrast) and the pink honey was too pink. But both together: really pretty! 😅 And nudestix sunkissed also works as this brownish-tan blush. It looks super natural, is not too oily/waxy and has great staying power when used with a powder on top (might just be me though, no cream products stays on my skin without a powder on top).
I fell for your channel in recent months after discovering I was an autumn color season. It’s obvious that you are too. I’ve been wearing autumn makeup all summer and you have the best recs. Loved this. Thank you! Also, I think the fact that this was sponsored is a bit subtle and the title should be labeled with “ad.” I find myself lately clicking on videos only to be watching a commercial for a brand without any disclosure other than digging in the caption or comments. Like I already own Black Honey 🤷🏻♀️
i love black honey !! i have the lipstick, cheek and lip oil, lip gloss, blush and the eyeshadow palette. the mascara and eyeliner is not available where i live (yet)
I just want black honey to be more moisturizing. For me the Bobbi Brown extra lip tint does what I want and what my lips need. And no lip lines which is amazing.
Another great video, Amanda! I'm in love with Tower 28 concealer, as well! I'm really looking forward to deepening my fall makeup looks as well. I haven't used Clinique since I was in high school (nostalgic for me!), so I'll have to look into Black Honey! ```Lisa
You are so right about black honey and the lipgloss from clinique I had one in a shade that was a pinky red and it was my fave in my collection for years I was a teen in the 90s so that brownish purple lip is my fave staple. It can range from purple brown to more deep brown even hints of orange or red. I am an autumn so this deep lip is great against my fair skin. When I were nudes its not so appealing. It can look boring and wash me out because I have more intensity than than melanin.❤😊 this is just a yes I agree you won't be disappointed by your purchase. Haha Amanda I caught a glimpse of how much of that black honey gloss you have gone through😂 it must be a fave.!!
I am the crazy one but this fall make up lips I wear in the summer when I have tan. Otherwise I am pale bcs the tan goes away so quickly.. so I use gentle nudes and in spring some peach and pink and in the winter red. Edit- I also go for a bit more brownish shades bcs Black Honey has this dark pink note on me.
WTH?! I’ve just had to subscribe to you-again! I don’t understand as I’ve been with you for so long! Now it’s unsubscribed me somehow! Anyway huge congratulations on the sponsorship! Huge achievement! Xx
Love these suggestions, we are definitely on the same page with shades and textures. I love to support you and your channel, but can't support Clinique unless they become cruelty-free.
I’ve worn black honey almost lipstick for years. I’d like the same shade available in a bullet lipstick. Something less sheer than gloss and oil. Do they make that? Been hoping.
@@meezle1904 I have . It Is beautiful but a bit more brown than black honey so I do t wear it as often or I put a bit of Dior mahogany lip oil on top to make it a hot cooler.
Clinique makes such beautiful lip products, but they include castor oil in every single one of them. Castor oil is the most common allergen in lip products - I believe it is why so many people find moisturizing products drying - the allergic reaction feels like dry lips. I have probably 6 black honey ‘dupes’ and none are quite the same. I wish Clinique would take castor oil out of their products! (Most urban decay and a number of k-beauty products seem to purposefully avoid it).

There is truly no better sponsor for a “fall lip” segment than Clinique. Congratulations, Amanda!

People dismiss Clinique in the beauty space istg. I've been using their skincare for prob 15 years and I look ten years younger than I am. It's great.

Your post gave me all the fall vibes! You painted a beautiful picture with your words 😊
They have blush too! It is gorgeous paired with the gloss
The black honey is literally the most flattering lipstick I’ve ever worn. They should make a stain!

A berry brown is perfect for fall. Love your recs 🤎 A change in season is a good time to play around with tones and textures.
100% agree on the Black Honey gloss. The Almost Lipstick formula is drying on my lips, but I adore the color Black Honey. I ran to get the lip gloss. It’s not drying, it looks translucent and rain drop-ish on the lips and it stays pretty well for a gloss. ❤
Recently so in love with this kind of shade… it just looks so effortless yet elegant, totally my vibe.

You always look great, you look especially glam today. Beautiful and a nice person.
I love that Clinique sponsored your video! You more than earned it spreading the good word about their brand all these years. Congratulations 🎉 love your content!
The black honey was first high end gloss mom gave me when I was 13....been my fav lip color ever since! Great content today!❤
I feel like it reads so much warmer in this video. Been wearing BH since to 90s 🧡🧡🧡

Fall makeup truly makes me come alive
I ❤ Clinique, not only the makeup but also their skincare.
Yes!!! I used it for 2 decades. I give it to clinique my youthful appearance ❤

I believe it was you that sent me to the Clinique black honey gloss last year and I LOVE. ❤❤❤❤
Merits Fox blush is that brown red blush. I love Black Honey it’s my signature lip.
You look so beautiful in this video, Amanda! Loved the theme and concept of this video, thoughtful content as always! ❤
You're beautiful and brilliant Amanda. Tried your eyeshadow hint for a more natural, muted look. So pretty! ❤
The black honey gloss is sooooo nice! Ill have to crack it back out this season. Congrats on the sponsorship!
My new favorite blush is Merit Fox. I’m obsessed! I have worn black honey for over 40 years!
I just wore the black honey lip gloss randomly yesterday and had the same thought! The shape of the applicator is so satisfying too.
They need to make the Black Honey Lipstick PERMANANT! It is the best version!
Seriously, I was distracted by the gorgeous shiny hair 😍😍😍
I LOVE Clinique! I’m 60 and it’s been my go to for many years! Thanks Amanda!
I love the makeup inspo you chose. Could you create them? Or even Devin aoki makeup. I feel like it would fit for fall ❤
Not me painting my nails burgundy while watching this 💖💖
Oop. Taking a note from ya. My bare nails are begging for a fall shade.
The Flower Knows palette that is linked is called Celestial Castle but the one being used in the video is called Stellar Sand. Just wanted to point that out in case someone wanted to buy it based on the video, I don't want them to get the wrong one.
Thank you. I cannot find Stellar Sand anywhere. 😕
For me, Salt New York blush in Cocoa is the 👌 perfect 👌 fall blush! It's such a beautiful reddish brown.
OMG! I’ve used black honey almost lipstick for 30 years. Then I found the black honey gloss… let me say it’s perfection. Period.
Thank you for the makeup tips and hacks Amanda! Really helpful!❤
Wow you look stunning! Black looks so good on you. Also, I am eyeing the Black Honey lipgloss HARD now
Also CONGRATS ON THE SPONSOR OMG
Black honey is made for you.Beautiful.
The queen of Fall Beauty ‼️💯💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻❤️
Such a great video! Can’t wait for winter
Would love a video rounding up your thoughts on the pink K-beauty powders you bought
I actually never tired Clinique lip products, but I absolutely love their foundations. Also their eye cream is my absolute favourite. It's about time I'd try the Black Honey.. putting it on my wishlist ❤
I would give the Ben nye loose pink powder a try I’ve really been enjoying it!
You’re so pretty, I always love your fall makeup looks! 💕

this is so inspiring!
Fall is the only time of year I just want orange everything, make up wise
I want to try these!! They sound perfect for me.❤🙌
Yaaaay so good to see you being acknowledged and sponsored by brands like Clinique ❤

Los dos labiales del principio del vídeo de Clinique....OMG
I use the black honey og lipstick on my cheeks as blush!
This was amazing. Thank you :)
Hi Amanda, this is a beautiful look on you. I'd love to see you review the Make Heat Stroke Dewy Gel Cheek Tints (especially the shade Scorched). It's so hard to find reviews of these. Thanks for your videos!
Your skin looks gorgeous! Did you change routine?
I like Clinique tubing mascara in dark chocolate
You always have such good takes. Def going to try this makeup style for fall. What shade in the Armani luminous silk do you wear?
Clinique lip balm is hero product ❤ saves me all the time
love this! btw have you tried the black honey lip oil? I feel like you'd like it
I thought Peripera ink glossy in shade made it was a similar dupe of black honey but after seeing the gloss im more convinced 😳
Can you PLEASE review the new Goop Barrier Gel Gloss. I feel like it looks SUPER lip line smoothing and I’d love your opinion
the clinque black honey is my favorite gloss too I was surprised since I did not like the balm. I tried gloss since TJ Maxx sold for $5
Can you film a hair tutorial? Thank you in advance 🖤
came to the comments to second this. i need shampoo, colour, cut, style, whatever you can share your hair is so gorgeous!
Ditto!
I *just* ordered those exact Rhode blushes! I wear these colors all year because they look great on my skin. I am really interested in Phytosurgence too - their shades are very unique but not sure if my skin can handle their formulas.

This is so simple and straightforward and relatively inexpensive. Thank you ❤
Does anyone know what the eyeshadow stick that she used is called? OBSESSED with the colour
Hi Amanda ❤ do you have a lipliner recommendation for Black Honey?
I just want black honey to be more moisturizing. For me the Bobbi Brown extra lip tint does what I want and what my lips need. And no lip lines which is amazing.

Very cutesy, very demure
How do you apply the rhode blushes? On a brush first or directly to the face?
Clinique also has a serum foundation
I would love to know how the Clinique black honey (gloss and lipstick) compare to Rituel de Fille Blood Thorn, to me its browner but quite similar ?
Enjoyed the video!! 😊
Which brush did she use to line the eyes with the darkest brown eyeshadow please?
What was the brown eyeliner you used?

Does anyone know anything similar to this rhode blush? Unfortunately they don’t ship to my country.

I know they used to make it in the lipstick. Not sure if they still do somewhere but it’s not on the Clinique website.
Bobbi brown crushed lip color lipstick in shade rich cocoa is similar
@@meezle1904 I have . It Is beautiful but a bit more brown than black honey so I do t wear it as often or I put a bit of Dior mahogany lip oil on top to make it a hot cooler.
@@meezle1904 any burgundy lip oil will work. The Dior one in that color is just mynfavorite
Shiseido did this first. Plum gloss
You have Drew Barrymore vibes❤
aw thank you!!
Do so good Amanda👍🏻🤎
❤❤❤❤❤
First comment. Love your videos ♥️♥️
Thank you so much for being here!!
That is so sad how far clinic has fallen from Bloomingdale’s to target
My targets don't have ultas, they have ultas next door. So we don't have the clinque at Target specials.

Incredibly long infomercial
i feel like the title should have been: Clinique Ad lol a bit of baiting going on here...
She acts with her mouth like drew barrymore lol
