    Even more Worldless Gaming
not much more to improve with this one, a few more enemies could be 1 cycled if I just don't mess up and unicorn could be done in 2 turns with luck.
(never mind I guess there was much more to improve lmao)

when played well this game seems so elegant and fluent, i love how to be fast at the game you can’t cheese but you actually have to be a combat master with great precision and with solid game mechanics

Firstly, this is unironically one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever witnessed.
    But I gotta couple questions…
    1. In the very first fight, you use Ice level 3, 3 times in a row, how did you accomplish that?!
    2. What do you use to practice on, and do you have specific combos you could share?
    3. How long have you played to get this good?
    4. Do you have any kinda special grip or something that helps with the swapping moves? Like going from seal to bow, for example.
    Thx in advance ^~^

      1. you can cancel the endlag of magic by starting a basic melee input, then instantly use the magic again, and level 3 ice/wind does slightly more damage than lightning/fire, although this can't be done right next to the enemy since you don't have enough time to cancel the melee before it starts a combo.
      3. 80 hours according to steam, in-game says I have 45 on my main save and 5 on my second and third as extra playthroughs, likely because it doesn’t count time spent tabbed out. About 25 of those main save hours were from just constantly running the ultimate trial over and over because I found the combat loop to be that engrossing, although I wouldn’t use that as a benchmark for how good you should be at x amount of time, everybody learns things at a different rate and i’m quite good at video games(at least I like to think so).
      4. I don't think so? I use q and e for weapon 1 and 2, r for technique, wasd to move, shift for assist, space to swap, and then the numpad 1-3 buttons to attack/block since it's more comfortable for my hand. It keeps every important input on a separate finger so its easier to use them all at the same time, and a lot of it just comes from practice and getting a feel for the timing
      2. There isn’t really one universal combo you can use to beat everything, you have to approach each enemy differently to get the fastest times, but that’s only if you’re trying to speedrun like this. If you’re just trying to get better at the combat, always break enemy guards first, then use absorption attacks like seal/bow, charged whip and level 2 magics. When it comes to really mastering the combat to this level in the video, it mainly boils down to learning every enemies quirks like their resistances/weaknesses, understanding how to efficiently use assists and perfect timings for all the weapons so you can chain combos together, get enough absorption damage to beat enemies in one turn and efficiently build techniques, along with the usual practice and fully understanding all the options you have at your disposal.

One of the main things I’m trying to improve is just mixing up my attacks, as that seems more fun. Currently, my Summum time is about 5 minutes, but I’m trying to get to 3.5.
Do you have any tips for using more “creative” combos?

@@brittoncain8728 for me it just came down to practice and getting muscle memory for a particular string of moves like seal-melee chain-bow-sword chain, although one thing that took me a while to figure out was that perfect timing moves automatically queues the next move you just inputted, meaning if you use a bow shot, then perfectly time the hit while still holding weapon 1, it'll queue the next shot to be a bow, meaning if you want to perfectly time the final bow shot(or for any multi-hit combo) you have to input with a different attack with the perfect timing.
Overall though I don't try to swap characters mid combo very often since the timing is annoying, I only really do it for seal/bow chains + assist since its effective for technique building+ absorption.
