YES! I am incredibly impressed with the way you charge and use your techniques at just the right times during the fight. Planning for when to save it and when to use it is really difficult for me since using it up in one fight means I won't have it at the start of the next fight.

absorbing unicorn in 2 turns requires her to use a specific attack, or more accurately to NOT use the level 2 ice field attack, since the extra absorption from deflecting the damage of her other attacks is enough to consistently reveal 3 inputs which can guarantee an absorption. If the ice field attack is used I'd be lucky to get even 2 inputs revealed. The extra absorption also triggers unicorn's phase 2, which always starts with the light and dark physical blocks that allow easily farming techniques for unified division vs yin-yang. Its also a reference to an undertale speedrunner who has a similar split name for a section that is very difficult to do and leads to them restarting a lot. (which is itself a reference to a meme)
Hello! When doing the aerial sword combo with the blue character, how do you continue it when the enemy is hit to the ground? I just end the combo and have to wait for my character to fall to the ground - feels like I’m missing something! Thank you!
perfectly timing the last hit of a sword/melee combo adds an extra hit on to the chain, and in the case of the blue character it also returns her to the ground when done in the air. there's an enemy in the blue area where you start the game that helps teach this. If you cant get the timing though you can also use a secondary weapon like the bow/whip to return to the ground.
When you're doing aerial attacks with Edda(?), perfect timing seems obvious. But when I go to try it, and I've been at it for an hour, I can't get it consistently or sometimes not at all. How do you do that..?
Perfect timing is usually a bit later then you'd think it is, since its exactly when the attack deals damage, not always when the animation 'connects'. The last hit in the chain is also a bit delayed compared to the first few when doing an air sword combo.
