You can also change the temperature fan on off thermostat located in the radiator for one that cuts the fan in at around 85 degrees saving you the hassle of manually switching on the fan.. Here is the model I used for my Yamaha Thunderace,they may be the same. I suspect you can get one also for the R1 or modify the Radiator etc. SKU MPW-230308
Are you saying you just run a posative line from the battery to the toggle switch and then splice into the negative wire on the fan plug to the toggle switch
My issue on my 2007 r6 is the frame gets so freaking hit it burns my knee. I put a heat temp gun on it after riding and the frame is getting up to 150 degrees. I put heat sheild adhesive inside the frame didn’t do anything maybe knocked it down 3 degrees. Tried water wetter and distilled water can’t even see a difference with that bike still climbs to 214 when I stop stays around 190 on the freeway at 70 mph. It drives me nuts the 07 r6 has that stupid plastic piece ant the bottom of the gas tank so I can’t find any tank grips. Everytime I slow down I just slide forward and burn my knee on the frame
My R1 also jumper relay that connect to Ecu to control double fan.. it save for engine

De la mufa care duce la termocupla da. Am luat doar minusul din mufa deci risc minim sa strici ceva si plusul de pe baterie direct in switch-ul pe care il actionezi tu
