Cheers matey. Always try my best as we all should. Sometimes things can go wrong and not always in our control but if we can do all the other things right we’ve done all we can
@@paulharris6886 how things can change maye. Plan A scuppered so plan B on a less flooded river. Very slow all day then the float slips away and I land a river monster. Crazy this fishing lark innit!
Too true mate it’s a cracking time of the day. That last lunge from a pike before dark can often be a cracker. Your words no truer than last night mate I was sat watching tele and then just decided to get out for literally the last 45 mins before dark. Nailed an absolute beauty fish probably a few pounds off being a twenty. Superb result and perfect example for your comment, so cheers for that buddy!! Good luck if you are out before end of season! 👍
Hi buddy. This one was the LMAB La Moustique 7-21g rod with Daiwa Caldia 2500, 18lb braid and but can’t remember which brand I used mate. It’s probably been on a few years 🤣. Reel is ok for a cheaper reel but after 2-3 years abuse I need a new one as it’s limping through. Rod is nice enough mate they are probably a bit above low budget price but also look quite nice, think they are around £80 or so.
Matey they literally have been the worst I can remember. I feel your pain. Pretty much in constant flood. I own a 12ft aluminium boat and I haven’t been out on it all winter at all until a couple of days ago. Planned to get out again today and we have over 2m gone in again over night and it’s a wash out so I’m at home with my feet up. Luckily that one session though I landed a big one!! Fingers crossed for you that you get out before the season ends matey good luck if you do!
Cracking little session mate and great fish care! 💪🎣💪

Time well spent Paul! That first fish looked plenty good enough. Nice to see it wasn’t raining up your way. Tight lines 👍
We’ve had plenty of the wet stuff Paul it’s been a nightmare. It’s even naffed up my plans for today and my last river session this season. 😔
@@riverpiker This February has just been a total drag. You’re just going to have to get back on the Perch pond 👍

@@riverpiker So true!
You can have all the best lures and best location but nothing increases you're chances like the last 30mins of light

Ha ha I’m not far off that point mate but I will say if it’s a choice between a good fish and wet pants I’d wet my pants every time! 🤣🤣
Hi Paul, nice spinning session! What rod, reel and mainline is that?...
