Real awesome.. i was born in july 89' ..that graduation must've been magical.. i bet when that main chorus hit in the song everybody started ballin thier eyes out with emotion... music these days have lost that type of magical romanticized emotion.
Man…..it was nostalgic just watching the memories from the filming locations. You did such a good job putting everything together for everyone to see. Sad to think how much time has gone by since this movie was made. Thank you for making this!
This is phenomonal!! One of my all time favorites, had the VHS as a kid and had to have watched it over 100 times through the years. I am getting goosebumps watching this..as a kid, I always wanted to transport myself into the movie..this is the closest thing to that!
I adore teen wolf, how cool to see these locations the locker room still looks exactly the same. If I lived in California I'd be hitting up these spots all the time, thanks for the tour man.

@@NickP On a video that length you can pick the position of the ad breaks and how many you want through the video. I prefer to do this than let RUclips pick where to put them but I have found the process to be a bit glitchy. Might just be me.

They were scouting for locations for BTTF while he was filming Teen Wolf and wanted to do it buy, Gary David Goldberg wouldn't let him out of work ofcourse until Meredith went into labor and they finally got their first choice Marty to work BTTF nights and weekends while doing Family Ties during the weekdays. Great job on these, Kind Sir! 🤘😊

It's crazy,this movie came out the same year Back To The Future came out.I did research,this movie came out in 1985,Michael J Fox at the time was still on the show family ties. This movie was filmed in the middle of 1984 .His Block buster movie Back to the he Future was filmed around December of 1984,@January of 1985,by then Teen Wolf was already finished. Back to the Future came out in the summer of 1985 and Teen Wolf came out like 3 months later.
11:14 Nooo way!! The frat house from Oldschool! I love when you bring in snippets of other movies on a side note. All of these movies are just classics. Hollywood needs to get back to that level where they made good quality pop culture movies. There have been too many remakes over the last ten years or maybe I'm just starting to get a bit oldschool myself.
I couldn't agree more. I think you are right on about the remakes and the current lack of creativity. They are all about the sure thing, that's why its been a nostalgia circus lately lol. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but not when its at the expense of a classic. They can do an injustice to the original and damage the brand. The fans aren't going to like that very much. Meanwhile, they are passing on a lot of new and good ideas for these remakes. Things do cost a ridiculous amount of money these days. So, when you calculate the budget for production and marketing it could get awfully scary for the studios. However, the execs are not doing a good job of maintaining a fresh rhythm. There have always been remakes but....we already went over that lol. Sorry about the long reply but I think you are on the money. Thanks a lot!!
@@NickP Exactly, but they've been spending too much on special effects and less on good stories, jokes, catch phrases, easter eggs of producers and actors, etc... Movies need to be made by people who love it as much as the fans. Cook a meal with passions instead of getting a microwave ready meal. lol

Imagine what the next gen will look back on.. remakes ......Smh. I think when a lot of real deal heads of studios retired, their spoiled family members took over for them.. It shows. We aren't seeing vision anymore, no pun intended. We are seeing laziness and fear, never a wining combo... Hopefully things improve. One new good thing are the streaming platforms. They are constantly creating and we are getting quality here and there..

I love this film, classic 80s, locations were brillaint, I've been to most of them as well. Only thing you should of done was do a scene by scene comparison shots, that would of worked better seeing that you had all locations covered.

Lived in Highland Park, went across the bridge into South Pasadena. Used to go all through these streets like Mission where Fox rides on top of the van.
I hope to God please find a cure for this thing he has Parkinson's cuz no one should have to go through that what he's going for and I hope they find a cure fast it's a shame with some friend robbed him he was an awesome actor we love you Michael
Cool. Did you look at video of the Movie while you were there, and then set up comparison-shots by that, or did you just shoot it all and then later look at the movie to decide what shots you would use for comparison? Just wondering how you did that because it really came out nicely.
For this shoot, it was all memory because I was using a gimbal setup for my cell phone. I've since upgraded some equipment and will check pics and videos on my phone from time to time.. I like to freestyle and work from memory as much as possible, it makes it a little more fun. Thanks a lot!
Wow that's literally down the street from me. I'm blocks away from Hawthorne high and Lennox is many more blocks down passing the strip club on Inglewood Ave and Imperial Ave.crazy how they still have showers in that vintage locker room.
I would like to tell you this was an amazing video, I also enjoyed your beetle juice one as well. BTF are my favorite movies but I had no clue where they were filmed at! Funny thing is I grew up in South Pasadena and attended south Pasadena H.S. in the mid 90s . My track coach would make us jog all over town and many times we would make the loop and go through Bushnell ave. The homes would always look familiar to me but there was no google back then to find out filming locations. I did know teen wolf was filmed there because of Fair oaks and the corner ice cream store , but I didn’t know about Bushnell ave . After H.S In 1999 ended up working at a real estate office where I met my wife , it used to be on 2008 Colorado BlVd which was right on the corner of Colorado & Shearin ave . I could have literally walked to the teen wolf party house from the office. Lastly Nicholle Tom from the Nanny and the movie Beethoven was in 3 of my H.S classes in south Pasadena Hs. She was already famous back then but she was really down to earth and kept a low profile. Thank you for your video and for all your knowledge it really hit home for me, can’t wait to share it with my kids and wife!

Completely unchanged it looks like. Almost all of these segments show some change but those locker rooms are completely untouched.
