I never realized how old this show is. Just recently watched it. Queenie and Twister just the cutest couple ever.

What a lovely series. This is my second time watching and I’m enjoying even this time even more. The beauty and simplicity of the storylines never fail to amuse and delight me. There’s always a lesson to be learned that any, regardless of their heritage or background, will surely embrace and connect in both heart and spirit. It holds a sweetness that’s missing from the World today and which we desperately crave. I thank you for bringing this to we, who truly appreciate and hold dear that which has been lost to time. As an American, I realize my distant British cousins likely believe I cannot understand or appreciate such a time but we are not so differed. Most Americans, just like Australians, can trace our heritage back to the United Kingdom. It hasn’t been but a couple generations for many so much has been passed through family stories. Thank you for making me feel part of something more dear than few can believe or understand, our beginning and roots. Though we do not now live in the United Kingdom that doesn’t erase our family bloodlines which were born, lived and died for generations before any sailed to the shores of the new World. It’s wonderful feeling to be part of these endearing people. Again, thank you for a beautifully written and portrayal story. Each character is loved beyond words as they come to life as dear family and friends. My deepest admiration for all. 🇺🇸❤🙏🇬🇧

I was born in an Oxfordshire hamlet then moved to bicester now I live in Torquay which I right next to Brixton where flora went to live .
She's buried in dartmouth I'm yet to go see her grave and just became a fan of the BBC TV series . Its strange how we both started from same area and ended up in the same areas.

I have just rewatched Larkrise to Candleford tv series. What a shame that the BBC could not be bothered to complete the series. This seems to be a common occurrence with companies.

I am reading the book. I have something to add. I was trying to figure out the locations & people written about. No mention has been made of the town of Twyford, south of Fringford. Twyford was Flora’s “Candleford”, where she spent time with her father’s sister, Aunt Ann. Also written about were Ann’s husband, Tom Whiting the shoemaker, and their children. They lived in Chilton’s Place in Twyford during the 1880’s.

Hi thanks for the great video. I was wondering if you knew if Flora has any direct descendants alive?

This is kinda boring. Loved the series. Haven't read the books. Hope they are not as boring as this video. I know this video was many years ago but music to loud. Cant hardly hear the talking.

This series would have been wonderful if not for the horribly unattractive man that tried to portray Laura’s father! Sad choice indeed. I find myself fast forwarding through the parts he is in, as not to throw up in my mouth.

I find Brendan Coyle to be a brilliant actor and I find him handsome. I thought he was grand as the father.

The fact that you can't stand him actually says what a great actor he is. There were parts I liked with him and parts I didn't care for. But a brilliant actor in this and also in Downton Abbey.
