I love this series SO much, and wish they had kept on making it. Why didn't they? I know they could have had so many ideas for more episodes.. I am sad it only goes so far, and stops.. My favorite character is definitely Dorcas Lane! She is so beautiful ,and yet ,down to earth . Julia Sawalha is perfect as her. I love her.. She reminds me of my other favorite actress, Natalie Wood, sadly passed on.

What a wonderful insight into the actresses who play the main women in Larkrise to Candleford... this is sheer pleasure and I am definitely an addict now... I cannot go through a whole day without just a little glimpse into Larkrise life... Love, love it ... @LarkRiseCandleford you truly are a wonderful being for psoting these gems on here... :0)x
independent women like Dorcas had the right to vote Ruby Bentall is correct about Minnie only having one line on the book and not appearing as a maid I've bought the book and Minnie appears in the final book Candleford Green as a girl living in Candleford I'm glad they gave Dorcas a son at the end of series two
