i had falcon 4.0 allied force back in the day, after i went through all the tutorials and got familiar with the controls, which took a while, i ended up spending more time doing air refueling and landing on carriers than i did playing the campaign. That stuff was so much fun.
If you want graphics and more jets other than f-16 go for dcs, if you want immersive campaign and a deep dive into the f-16 systems go for bms. DCS base is free (modules aren't cheap though), BMS mod is free but falcon 4.0 is not (but it's very cheap), you can get both for the price of a AAA game. I personally prefer BMS because it has better ai, better avionics, better war dynamics, less bugs, better performance and really it's not that bad graphically.
@@C0R3894 it's a complete rework of the old falcon 4. If you want to try bms you need to start studying because it's not forgiving like dcs. As example, if you don't start the engine in the correct way you end up with a hot start and a broken engine. You need to follow the checklists, and you can roleplay better than dcs, which is a bit less accurate
id get the whole falcon bundle , on sale on steam its like £5 or less. very rewarding and challenging DCS is great but BMS really does take the F16 to a whole different level
Im currently testing the F16 on DCS and you are right, the module is perfect but there is nothing to do with it since the game doesnt offer much singleplayer content. Such a shame@@evilangel_1919
Sadly my notebook cant handle the improved graphics version, and i didnt found any k&m tutorials, so, till i get a better pc and a hotas, im stuck watching the lil to no content of this marvel of a game
Is 4.37 that taxing on your pc? Btw yes, you can't find any tutorials because you can fly with k&m, but it's clunky and it is a level of difficulty on top of the one the simulator already has... youtube is full of bms videos though, i suggest to follow Aviation Plus, that covers falcon almost daily! You can find more videos and people to talk with in the falcon lounge discord
You can use your mouse like a joystick i'm playing that way but i need to improve it, Especially when looking arround, btw i have a friend that plays it with a controller
In my Falcon 3.0 manual it says 'avoid the temptation to shoot down the tanker' 😂
oh man, you don't know how many have been sacrificed to teach me 🤣
First time that’s the first thing I did I was so mad lol 😂
Woof!

Landing and air refueling are very difficult to master, but very satisfying for this very reason. And I like also the cold and dark start
was that a bulldog barking at the end?
he's a mongrel! But we're talking about falcon bms, so can i say...pitbull? 🤣
Contact!
Should I get Falcon BMS or just get the F-16 on DCS

@@evilangel_1919 so what does bms do exactly?
