In this video, I identify some feelings that we may struggle with:
sadness
hopelessness

These feelings are all common in small portions day to day, but for some of us, they overtake our life and incapacitate our spirit. That’s depression.
In your troubles and your feelings, you are not alone. And you are not expected to deal with these feelings, and the shame associated with them, on your own.
We are here to help you, to find the Light that shines in your darkness.
We are very aware that this dark season, with everything that happens in the world, can be very stressful, even leading to a season of darkness or depression.
So, every day we will send the truth about your life to your inbox and thereby bring LIGHT into your situation! So that this time will be unexpectedly WONDERFUL for you!

What a encouraging, truthful, and revealing video. I am strengthened by your testimony and wish I could not relate so much to the content.
I will share that I lost my daughter 8 years ago. It was and is excruciating grief, with more questions than answers.
Your testimony gives me strength and much hope. I love how you have faced the darkness and call it into the light, to surrender it to Jesus. We can bring everything or anything to him, and he gives me back peace, love, and joy. What an awesome God we serve. Thank you for being a help to me daily in renewing and transforming my mind.❤😊

I'm in a relationship where my spouse is very disrespectful he just talk things and don't care how or who he says it to and is a lover of money more than even God and himself. But most of all we are trying to have a child and he thought I'm pregnant because of an positive home pregnancy test and now I'm not sure to tell him I'm not cause I was praying that it would happen over the past 3 months and now I'm thinking it's so late to tell him
I'm just put of it completely.
I have failed as a woman of God in the area of not telling him sooner and now I have to face the consequences of my actions and I know it's not gonna be nice knowing who he was and how he and been to me in the past. He was very abusive and we had broke up about 4times in the 9 yrs of knowing each other but some how we have find our selves together again and again and love each other more and more but his ways are very cunning and I had add fire to it by not telling him I was not pregnant. I was praying a d asking God believing that I'm but to date nothing and so I made up mu mind to tell him. I know I will tweet it a bit so as to not feel so bad buy that still doesn't make me right to do so
And I'm really really sorry
I lost my mom unexpectedly in July and I have been trying to overcome the sadness and anger thank you for your emails everyday

We lost our beautiful 23 year old son in June, 2023. Our hearts are so broken and the sadness is overwhelming. Why would God take such a young, beautiful young man💔💔🥲😘

I have had some various trials and tribulations recently that have been overwhelming and so stressful, but I was coping without depression with it all until God said No to me when I begged Him to heal my precious 14-year-old son. On July 12th, a huge sudden shock to me God took my precious little guy from me, ripping him from my arms, my heart, my life, shattering my heart into a thousand pieces. I keep pushing into Jesus, prayer, and Scripture, but I can't cope with the excruciating pain of losing my precious Max😢 I miss him so much and long so deeply for him. I'm a single mom and I feel so devastated to lose my angel. He did not stay with me long enough. I feel so much pain and darkness now that I ask God daily to please take me home. I am going to start counseling, but I do not see how it will help because they can't bring him back to me and they can't change my missing him and longing for him nor erase the memory of his suffering. My heart is broken💔

My insurance doesn't pay for counseling, and to pay out of pocket for Christian counseling is 120.00 to 150.00 an hour which I can't afford. I will check out the website later today, I can use ALL the prayer I can get. God Bless You❤

Do not fear. He will help you. You are not alone. He says he will never leave or desert you. Trust him. Leave all your cares on him. He will deliver you from all problems that the enemy tries to attack you with. He delivered me from covid-19. Which he took me out of that dark place. I have a new joy and peace. I can not see God ever turning my situation around to good. I've been, praying and praying for a breakthrough but nothing changes and God is always silent. I'm feeling so hopeless.

Thank you I look forward to these videos and finally hearing and seeing you is a blessing as I look forward to reading your daily emails and devotions. My adult son struggles severly with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse and a week ago he ran out of his rehab facility in Florida and hasn't been seen or heard from since. This isn't the first time he's done this though...His mental health due to self-medicating since he graduated from college has become much much worse but only God can save him so I just pray all the time and try to remain hopeful. My depression has been quite bad lately but I am praying for me as well to get back on track somehow... God bless you and I will keep Grant and his wife in my prayers as well.

I feel not in my own mind sometimes. I’m taking mood and mental medications that make me have worse side effects. I just want to be able to think and feel without being numb all the time. It’s hard for me to read and remember God’s word. In Jesus name I can be free.

I also sometimes find it hard to read and I never had the capacity to remember what I have read even with that I believe God touches my heart and mind and in that way my faith is strengthened.
@@josephinemirisola1996 I’m getting off the medication I’ve been taking and I’m starting to feel and think better. I can study God’s word better but there are somethings I still don’t remember after reading God’s word.
