I remember running home from school to watch Thundercats. My father drawed out a templet of the sword and cut one out of wood for me, but soon as I went outside every kid in the neighborhood wanted one also, so my father spent a day making around 20 Thundercat swords for all the kids.

CrafsMan your channel is just going to keep getting bigger. It's so difficult to find such a kind, positive soul in this swamp called RUclips. You're like a lotus flower that has risen up through the murky mud to shine in the sun, and everyone who comes across it gets a smile on their face.
Why anyone would “thumbs down” the wonderful Crafsman is beyond me. Sadly there are those that would complain about going to the bank after winning millions on the lottery..
Cross controversy is one of the most common, but easily avoided problems in a kitchen. One of the best pieces of kitchen advice I've heard is that a falling knife has no handle.

I was thinking it was thin film refraction as the individual oxide layers were forming, but the precise synchronization of two pours suggests some sort of lighting trickery..

Oh, but Crafsman, you don't need an hdmi capture card, you can just use OBS which is a free screen recording software. Many people use it for streaming, but it can also be used just for recording to a file on your PC directly. It also works on Mac, but there's a trick to get it to record the audio (but I'm happy to help with that if you have a Mac, too).

I think what I love about this channel is the love of creativity and the childlike wonder that he brings to his work. He's a grown man with little action figures, makes chickens out of plastic and has a genuine sense of joy. World needs more of that.

Funny story crafsman, I have been trying to make some coin molds from poly plastics myself. My coin is more detailed than the thundercat coin, but I think you did the right thing. The poly plastics has a tendency to spread a bit when you push it down onto the coin, but pressing in it holds okay. So I think you made the right call.
Thank you for the feedback! Yep, the silicone putty can be a little difficult to get into all the little details. I've had situations before (when casting action figures) where I'd pull a tiny piece off the putty and push that down into a detail, THEN push the whole glob over it, just to be sure that part is captured.
Are you going to use Mold Max 60 or a standard silicone? Mold Max holds up to HEAT pretty well, but it's not the toughest / most flexible mold, compared to the others. Just wanted to mention that. For a mostly flat coin mold, easy to pop out, you should be fine.
