My family and I are so grateful that I get to do this.
Dude I don't know whats more entertaining....your crafts or the way you talk!! I can listen to you all day long. You da best bro!
The fact that he got out pencil and paper for math instead of a calculator is a true testament to his authenticity
Truth. Can't always trust a computer
Chase H. Hah! I do that, too. On paper, if the answer doesn’t come out right, I can look and see where I went wrong.
TheCrafsMan coulda been a maths teacher if he wasnt too busy rocking creative moves
That's nursing school math for medication administration! :-)
Because using a calculator isn't authentic? What's that got to do with anything?
I don't think I've seen anything more satisfying than when crafsman trimmed the edges of the mold with the x-acto knife
I would have used a pair of flush wire cutters, but then again, I don't have Crafsman's steady hands.
Crafsman you are THE man. This has just answered all my prayers in one short video and as always delivered with style. Thank you sir.
So glad to hear this! Really. Be safe! And thank you for watching!
"To be honest with y'all.. Well anyway.."
I assume he was going to say something to the effect of, 'I didn't expect this to go as smoothly as it did'...but probably decided to let it go and bask in how well it came together! Awesome job CrafsMan!
You're a very good teacher. Great for those of us who don't have anybody around to teach us this kind of stuff. Thanks.
Crafsman, I have just discovered your channel and your content has been the medicine I’ve needed for a long time. These last couple of weeks have been very hard for me and this quality of education, approach and heart warming genuine love made my world so much better. I appreciate you as a person and will spread the joy of your videos to others I know that are in a hard place.
Wow. Comments like this stun me. I haven’t talked much about it, but I myself deal with anxiety and moderate depression. So hearing that my videos help others in this way is beyond encouraging to me.
@@TheCrafsMan
Your skill sets have surpassed, to the point where I don't believe anyone would have ever noticed or even thought that anxiety could ever even be remotely possible. You seem to be as calm as... Whatever you want!
I've enjoyed two enlightening experiences regarding Hard molding and 3d printing!
Thank you for your energy, and sharing your experience with the internet. Kudos!
Your Free range chicken got me looking into toy design, you show me a cheap and easy way to transfer my designs into copper plates and now molding metal. This is perfect for pieces in a game I'm looking to make. How you seem to have the exact guides to get through project roadblocks I have is beyond me.
The only other video I could find on metal casting didn't show you how to make the mold and I couldn't be happier that my favorite personality is showing me.
Thank you for everything you do Crafsman and Crafsmama. You're kind heart and loving words give me strengths I didn't think I had. You are a light in this world and your community is reflection of that goodness.
Tom, this gives me so much encouragement. I'm glad to hear that the videos I've put out have been helpful, and in line with what you're working on. Great words, my friend. Crafsmama and I appreciate you!
Your voice is relaxing!
The first video I watched was about Hard Molding, and I almost fell asleep.
Not because it was boring at all! Your progress and processes are greatly appreciated!
Have an amazing week, stay safe! thank you for your time.
11:57 Captain Crunch looks on gleefully as his enemy is slowly encased in silicone...
You should see his face now there's two!
Hahaha! Glad y'all liked the little Captain Crunch placements. :)
I originally wanted to play it up like a big versus situation, with the end being Captain Crunch having a metal version of himself made, to match Sogmaster's new capabilities. Something like that. But the video was over 20 minutes so I was like "This is good."
It's so Han Solo!
@@TheCrafsMan Please make a metal captain crunch at some point too though!
Yes
Your workshop is like a real life I Spy book...and it's awesome. Also, I'm diggin the puppet avatar, it suites your unique narration. Keep up the good work man, your videos are so educational/entertaining.
Agreed
This is, by far, my favorite Crafsman video mostly because I remember these characters from when I was a kid and I really wanted a Sogmaster. Only ever found the Captain though. Seeing it remade in metal just makes me happy every time I watch it. Thank you, Crafsman!
Your voice is so relaxing. So many American voiced tutorials are grating, but now I'm in auditory heaven.
Keep doing what you’re doing, this isn’t usually the type of content I watch but there’s just something incredibly relaxing and wholesome about your videos, it’s like there’s almost no pessimistic comments on your videos
And then I showed up...
@@nathanexplosionn
Your comment was greatly appreciated! I thought it was necessary to balance out the scale here. 😈🤟
When I've got insomnia, your calm voice always lulls me into a solemn slumber. Thanks for the videos CrafsMan!
Glad to hear that, Greg! Thank you for the positive feedback!

I was getting really happy hearing how excited you were getting and then when you took him out of the mold, I had a big smile on my face. Very cool video!
I wish I’d found your channel sooner, but I’m happy I’m here now
i am more relaxed right now than i have been in a year. thank you crafsman, might be my new favorite channel
Friend, TheCrafsMan, Thank you for an un-rushed easy to understand demonstration of pewter casting and simple mold making. Thank you for your friendly style, and especially, I thank you for not having some pounding noisy music in the back ground. I felt as though I was there with you, in an easy conversational teaching style. What a happy encounter. I have subscribed. Happy Christmas/Holiday to you good Sir. pierre5325

You ever put thought into a live television show?
I'd watch Sesame Street every day, if you had an hour or two! Just Sayin'.
Why is this the best channel on RUclips?
First video of Crafsman I ever watched and it hooked me instantly. I come back to this video once in a while
Thank you so much! :)
Crafsman. The coolest ASMR dude online.
Thank you so much!
I just discovered your channel and I love it. The commentary, the vibe, the honest mistakes that you do not hide- overall a great, heartfelt channel!
I own the original prototypes for these Captain Crunch mini figures :) Nice to see others are enjoying them still. Fun video!!
Wow! That's incredible! I have always liked all of them, but Sogmaster especially! :D Great example for metal-casting. Thank you for watching + commenting!
I like how you did your maths. I remember learning that a long (long) time ago. But they never explained how it was used in real world applications. Great job!
I couldn’t click fast enough to see what you were going to make today and I wasn’t disappointed, as of this viewing I see your subscribers is at 91k I hope it goes up to 100k very soon, you deserve it.

Mighty nice comment, Mary! Thank you so much. I thoroughly enjoyed this. :)
This Crafsman is crazy, I love him. Creative, instructional Positive. I found a new role model!!!!
Crafsman, I want to thank you for inspiring me to start my own journey in a new hobby I've always been interested in: crafting miniature things. A few months ago I came across one of your videos by chance and since then I've watched every single one. Your videos have really encouraged me to try crafts for myself, so I went to my local dollar store, loaded up a basket, and finished my first project! It was definitely much more work, required more concentration and imagination than I originally thought, but was satisfying at the end to see the result.
As always, I enjoyed your video and can't wait for the next one.
That right there does my heart good. I'm so glad you're making things! Thanks so much for watching.
I just subscribed a few days ago, and this is already my favorite channel.
I’m just excited that there’s 2 years worth of content to keep me busy for a long time.
I get stressed out a lot but when I listen to the crafmama's voice it makes me feel so much calmer
i show your videos to my students in China(im an art teacher at an international school), they love your voice.
This makes me so happy! :D Thank you for sharing my video with your students! Glad they enjoy!

Happy to surprise you! :D
hey there MR. CRAFSMAN, just gotta say and i quote...."SNAP A MILE".... thanks for sharing your genius!
HA! Thanks, Nick! To be totally honest about where that came from. It's kinda bad, I guess, but my mom... when she was REALLY upset, would say "Crap a mile!" It was in situations where just saying "Crap!" wasn't enough. Sorry for the language there, but I wanted to share the background on that. LOL!

You should have been in charge of toy manufacture in the old cereal eatin' days. Man you would have been my childhood hero.
Nothing I enjoy more than watching people do what they love.
A video by my man , the Crafsman!Perfect way to end my Saturday night❤
Such a great video!!! I'm so glad I discovered you. Listening to you is just about as soothing as listening to Bob Ross. And learning from you is fantastic because you explain so clearly! I'm excited to try out mold making myself soon - and this makes me feel like maybe I can actually handle metal casting too.
And I'm ridiculously pleased to know that you're kinda nearby!!! So hi from Hattiesburg, haha!
CrafsMan, I'm so glad I found your videos !!!!...being born and raised in S.Texas, pardon me for thinking you were Cajun...you are a true layman and a jewel for us "common folk" DYI's..please keep on keeping on !
Such a nice comment, Abby! Thank you so very much for watching, and taking a minute to leave some nice words! I appreciate it.
I appreciate your craftsmanship and detail orientated approach to preparation. You display several habits of the happy artist, including enthusiasm, a sense of humor, joy in work that is inherently fun. When it comes to tools and materials, I agree that the cheapest tool is often the right option. I love your videos and would like to see more molding and casting- and puppets.

Man, I need to get me "some", looks so useful!
That mold making was really cool, I learned some stuff, thank you :)
I forgot to include the business plan for SOME! "Phase one: Bring back audio cassettes." ;)

Never expected such good life advice from a DIY video. Great vid!
You never let me down Craftsman. I was thinking about casting with pewter and I just knew you'd have a video. You are a wealth of knowledge and I'm very thankful.
Crafsman, I really hope you can do this full time real soon! You, of all the RUclipsrs I watch, truly deserve it. It's so refreshing to hear you acknowledge that you're blessed and thankful regardless! You da man, Crafsman! 👍
Thank you so much for that! RUclips Ads + Amazon Affiliate do provide a nice supplement to our income, but currently can't pay bills+insurance on their own. So we'll keep at it. I'm steady enjoying it, and I don't take that for granted. It would be bad if I came out here to the workshop all like "Man, I HAVE to do another video. I HAVE to work on Steady Craftin." Nahhh... I *GET* to. :D THANK YOU!
Beautiful work!
Thank you so much!
P.S. I just subscribed to you. (Thought I had already, but did not. I have seen some of your videos, though!)
Love it! I almost choked on a pistachio when you had Captain Crunch standing guard 😂😂
HAHAHA! Glad you didn't all-the-way choke on that pistachio, Wendy!
Great video for the new person for casting low temp metals. I learned this process in Germany while serving in the Army in the late '80's. Took some looking a while back to find the Smooth-On MoldMax 60 product! You cut the learning curve way down by posting your video for everyone to see. And that 'hot pot' is now on my list to buy shortly!! Thanks!
I like that you make original stuff, there is a guy who is into copies of others work and then asks for people to send him money, also he seems to only make videos maybe once a month. You are the real deal🤗 thank you. Blessings to you and your loved ones ❤️
I appreciate the encouragement, my friend! Y'all are really something else. Crafsmama and I are enjoying these comments this morning. :)
that was SOME awesome stuff! 🤖
I teach kindergarten so we r counting down to Christmas! 2 days left before our vacation starts....I think I may try some Crafsman crafts with my kids while we're on break 😁
Y'all do that! Have fun and be SAFE! :D Thanks so much for watching my videos.
That's two tutorials in one. Wonderful to watch, thank you. That decal method is so easy and versatile I'm going to have a permanent shortage of label release paper from now on.
This is the best ASMR channel on RUclips and it's not even ASMR
Snappy and Happy Christmas, Mr Crafsman! (never realized that your nave is without a T!)
You too, my friend! And that's both a good and bad decision, using that name, in hindsight. It's a tribute to my grandmother, and how she would seem to leave out the T in words. But any time you search "Crafsman", technology wants to correct it to "Craftsman". :)
@@TheCrafsMan What a nice tribute to your grandmother, all full of love and passion and care, like every art you make. I understand that problem with technology and the corrector; I also have problems with my name, first it was going to be a channel in English but I was no lucky, so I realized my videos needed to be in Spanish and now Spanish people don't know how to spell my channel name, I always wondered if I should change it but I have registered it!
CrafsMan turnin' into MathsMan

Wow that was the best instructions I’ve seen your a great teacher!!!❤😊
I gotta say, I hit a real slump with some of my projects and watching your videos reminds me of why I love doing them again
:) This is very encouraging! Thanks, Devon!
Woowhooo was gonna ask about two part mold making, idk about messing with hot melty stuff just yet, i need to know how to do a two part with like a star wars toy so after molding i can attach arms & legs or something, thanks again crafsman your the best 😀👍
Glad it’s useful to you, my friend! And this is the same procedure I used for two-part arm and leg molds. :)
TheCrafsMan SteadyCraftin just make a small channel connecting them if you use the same mold for all of um? Body, arms & legs?
Man, you got me trying to make all kinds of stuff...
I like that, Jerry! :D If you ever feel inclined to share your work, post it on my Facebook, or email yo friend: thecrafsman@gmail.com

Craftsman this is new territory for me. You are a wonderful instructor and I learned so much from your videos.
Metal casting is relatively new to me as well. I've dabbled in aluminum before, but not pewter. And I REALLY like this. I'm brainstorming necklace pendants and things now. :) Glad you enjoyed it, my friend!
You sound like a more subdued Dusty "The American Dream" Rhodes.... love your videos
Thanks for you're happy video's. They make me smile even on my bad days.
Came upon your channel while slacking off this morning at work between emptying the bins and mopping the toilets. You have such a lovely soothing way of teaching and craftsmanship, I've been wanting to make some metal casting moulds for one of my own toy soldier projects but have been holding myself back, seeing you make this look so easy(which it honestly is) it makes me want to get off my arse and actually do it now.
Thanks Crafsman, I look forward to more charming videos for all the years to come!
