Rich Man Poor Man and si many other great great tunes- thank you Albert Griffiths for your teachings through your solid music. Thanks to the rest of the band also! ❤❤❤
Hearsay and Jah hear I when I cry, my favourites.. I still remember the Gladiators on the Beats of the Heart Jamaica documentary. Will treasure the dvd always❤💛💚🎶🇯🇲
My introduction to this band was Oh What a Joy of 1980 ....But their debut release Trench town Mix up blew me away in my schooldays along with my classmates.
I had the indescribable honour to meet The Gladiators in Groningen, Netherlands in the 80s after the show. Most pleasant open friendly guys. Impressive as an 18 year old, I can tell you ❤️one love
Having grown up in Seattle, Clinton Fearon, and the Boogie Brown Band, is fundamental. and yes Gladiators music🙏🔥🦁🇯🇲🖤❤️🇪🇹💛💚🇻🇺 was ever too clear on their early history, thank you RAS‼️
Yes! Thank you for adding that. I was going to say the same thing... and he is still at it, too! Dropping new albums, touring and playing Seattle regularly. What a great career - including The Defenders, his first Seattle band. I was in 9th grade when I got to see the Defenders open for Culture, who I had never heard of until that night, at the Moore Theater. Thanks for all the great reggae documentaries RAS!
There was some bar/cafe on the ave.. had my first red stripe. over the years was always that place 75th and Roosevelt or near.. many names over decades but late 90s early 00s ‘Scarlet Tree’...
What a good reflexion🔥❤💛💚 In the late 1960s The Gladiators emerged as one of the pioneers of reggae alongside the Wailers and Toots and the Maytals and became one of the pillars of the genre. This video traces their rise from Trenchtown to the world's biggest stages. Give thanks to post it . More Power 🇯🇲✌
They are still touring today with Droop Lion as their singer. And he is a great performer, I have some video from the show I DJied at. So, they are still spreading the message.
Blessed universe that I came across this channel. Just subscribed. Was looking to see if there is a video of Peter Tosh, who in my opinion is the Emperor reggae.❤️💛💚
All my friends known that if a drink some beer and you give me a bass guitar. I will sing hello carol 🤣. Know they are tired of Hello carol but not me😋
