you need to hear them in an actual venue because the fact this is a huge open area amongst other reasons he doesnt sound as great as usual but Jeremy's voice is fantastic live
The audio you hear here has absolutely nothing to do with the venue. Haha. That's funny though. Yes, if you're a spectator for a live show. The sound can bounce off of the room differently from theater, auditorium, arena, stadium, and so on. Even different theaters can sound different depending on design, and the sound experience can be different depending on where you're located in that venue. Yes, audio obviously travels different in open air as opposed to any closed room. But ultimately, that doesn't have a big impact in this recording because if how this is recorded. That could only be a factor if it were recorded from a crowd based mic or someone holding a cell phone. Even with all of that being said, it still has no affect on Jeremy's vocal performance. In reality, you hear more of an honest vocal in a more open setting or direct audio capture. There's no room reverb to smooth things out or hide mistakes. Some bands turn up higher in indoor venues to further mask those flaws.

Is that me or there always seems to be a larger gap between the stage and the public, I mean what's the point of being more than 100 ft far from the stage.
I've been to two of their shows. They put on a great performance and always make it fun, but Jeremy's cleans live just don't sound good to me. Still lots of energy though. Had a blast both times.
You should try to sing/scream this entire set before you give Jeremy Shit. Add on top of that moving/being entertaining on stage. WAY harder than it looks.
Are you on crack? Have you actually seen them live? I'm not trying to be biased because I love this band but if you look at a gig from them 5 years ago and look at them live now, they have progressed so much in their live performances, them and the atmosphere at their shows now are incredible, and Jeremy is one of the very few frontmen who can scream and sing in tune live, another example would be Alexisonfire who are just the best live band I have ever seen.
Everyone that we went to go see these with at Leeds was so disappointed. The band as a whole sounded awful and he was singing way out of time. We even made a joke to other people that missed them saying "It's okay, if you go tomorrow he's probably still there finishing the set..". Honestly, did anybody have this experience at Leeds?
"Hey guys, I've got an idea. How about not playing essentially the same set you have for like 5 years? You know, open with something other than Downfall Of Us All etc." ADTR: ".....I dont understand"
+James Marshall At a festival you kinda have to play the favorites, there's not much wiggle room in the setlist during an hour set. Still, they don't play end of me, homesick or why walk on water all the time. I agree with the downfall part though, i've seen them open with others though. I think sticks & bricks is a much better opener.
+Parker23 I've seen them so many times and always hear the same set give or take a few in both festival and non festival venues. I'd kill to hear sticks and bricks live. That would be a badass opener
What the fuck is this band? weird sound, is like cold play mixed up with haevy metal, what shit, this inst music in my opnion remembering that everybody is free to have opnions, just some guys mixing up what is pop from soft rock and heavy metal to gain some money, but tast is tast, and dumbnes is dumbnes etc.
If you listen to some of their interviews they actually do it for the music 🙃 both the song I remember and the interview that goes with it could tell you that much 🙄 but honestly this isn't their best, the outdoor stage doesn't help much
12:55 That insanely tall smoking lady walking around is horrifying.
Joking dude

Every band playing after this can go home immediately. There is no other live performance larger and better than this!
Who declared you as the source of all knowlegde on this planet?
I like ADTR but they sound awful at this performance lol cmon dude
Try iron maiden or rammstein? They’ve bigger bands but ADTR have one of the biggest POP PUNK shows
@@cheyvengeance5432They aren't pop punk
@@gazlp1 they kinda are, a mix of pop-punk and metalcore, dont properly fit in either but leans more to pop-punk influences
Kevin needs to sing more, his voice is amazing.

Lyrics end of me :
I took some time away
For understanding of what brought us here today
Oh, you'll be the end of me
I'm never happy like we were happy
I'm never sad like we were sad
Oh, you'll be the end of me
You know me all too well
And I can't suppress the memories
You're gone and I can tell
That I've lost more than you'll ever see
Don't say that it's not fair
That you're not the person you wanna be
'Cause oh, you'll be the end of me
I know I wasn't perfect, but I kept trying
'Til I forgot why I stayed
Oh, you'll be the end of me
Yeah, we lost all meaning
We lost the magic
So good luck to you on your way
Oh, you'll be the end of me
You know me all too well
And I can't suppress the memories
You're gone and I can tell
That I've lost more than you'll ever see
Don't say that it's not fair
That you're not the person you wanna be
'Cause oh, you'll be the end of me
I get it, no, I get it
Gave more than I took back, oh well (took back, oh, well)
I get it, no, I get it
Can't help those who don't wanna be helped
You know me all too well
And I can't suppress the memories
You're gone and I can tell
That I've lost more than you'll ever see
Don't say that it's not fair
That you're not the person you wanna be
'Cause oh, you'll be the end of me
AMAZING!!
End of me and I want out by young guns are two songs that remind me of Leeds fest the most last year. Such a vibe

Lol John Mayer at 19:57
this was mixed quite badly
Joseph Madden i agree lol
It’s live
2:48 he forgot the lyrics!
nah he was on point, the others played the chorus a bar longer and he was confused why
What does the crowd say at 0:06 ? Quite confused lol

i hope these get a late announcement for this year based on paranoia
"GET THE FUCK OVER IT!"
Why does he mve as if hes listening to a rap album or sum shit
haha love a day to rememberrrrrrrrrrrrr XD
Jeremy sounds out of breath on the first fucking song 😂 god I love adtr
is that adam shooting tee shirts out of the cannon?
Is that me or there always seems to be a larger gap between the stage and the public, I mean what's the point of being more than 100 ft far from the stage.
+Romain Jeangerard Well it is Reading... it's more for crowd control really.
It is the north of England... I live near here and I wouldn't want a bunch of drunk northerners within 100ft of me if I was performing either

they really should perform for leeds
does Jeremy scream as well?
heater basement that looks hells....
Say what you want about A Day To Remember, but they know how to put on a fucking show.
I was supposed to see them in Charleston on Thursday but they cancelled *insert sad face emoji*
They knew you were coming that's why
La media intro hueon lml
i dont know ..but i prefer four year strong
Is the vocals really quiet or is this just recorded really badly?
I thought they were fine?
Likely a shitty mixing job, but it could be the recording.
the sound was shit the whole weekend, all the acts were great but the mics were turned down way too low
Am i the only one that think's Kevin sang Homesick better than Jer?
#getjoshamic
When the guitarists sing and scream better than Jeremy. lol,.
Banana man
Jeremy doesn't really have a good live singing voice :(
He does
