To everyone hating on tom in this video, I was at this show and as with all shows it doesn't matter what is sounds like on RUclips, it's the atmosphere when you are there that defines whether it is a good or not and I confirm this show was awesome to experience in person!!

Nick C RUclips videos make Blink sound more bad than they really are XD. I saw them in Madrid, july 2012... I was in front of Tom and they sounded well... and after I saw Blink videos of Madrid and it sounded worst than being at the concert. Blink was cool live, a garage band sound. But youtube Blink live videos dont make justice to them.

Watching this makes me so happy and sad at the same time. It's such a great performance, when these three guys get together and create and play together it's truly beautiful. There's such a feeling in the way they sing and play, unparalleled by any other band I've ever seen live. Blink will never be the same without Tom. GOD I'm so sad now. Blink-182 forever.

I was there!! It's weird how when your there, you're living in the moment, and you'll wish it never ends. But now, that whole weekend I spent there and the memories I created are...just...memories. And now the hour and a half I spent yelling out my favourite songs drunk is just another video on RUclips of festivals past. I'm the only person who will remember the entirety of MY experience. No one else will ever know, no matter how much I explain it. It's sad and special to me at the same time.
But I suppose that's what makes festivals so great. If you lived your life like that everyday, you wouldn't have anything to look forward to. I'll tell my kids about the time Blink 182 played at Reading 2014. They'll hear about the Blink 182 flag over my shoulders. The Blink 182 tattoo of the guy next to me. And the Blink 182 pick I caught when Mark threw his away. MY memories...
ShearDeer That's what is special about concerts! The reason why I like bands like Blink 182 is because the concerts they tend to put up are rather special. My older brother was able to go to their Sydney performance more than ten years ago.

Best night ever, i was 4 rows of people away from the stage the audio and crowd was 10x better than it came out on the recording in person, They sound the best they have in over a decade.
Very jealous! Only time I saw them was 2011, and I was way back in the lawn area of an outside amphitheater thing, could hardly see them.

i just miss tom voice, the whine that made blink what they are with marks low voice. it worked so well. now their voices are just bland as matt sounds like mark. plus their album was really dull and not wrote well. i always found tom to be a great song writer

It's Blink-182. Toms voice is gone. Mark sounds like he's trying to sing softly. They both occasionally forget how to play their instruments. But it is Blink - that crowd was insane, and anyone complaining about their voices either weren't there or weren't singing. It's a cliche - but you had to be there.

I really feel bad for Tom. Everyone's hating on him because of his voice and when he left the band. His voice is permanently damaged and you can clearly see it, he twitches every now and then. His throat might be hurting him. Now with the band issue, his voice might be one of the reason why he doesn't want to play with blink anymore. He can't take all the hate on his singing.
I was at Leeds Festival that weekend and this is still one of the best bands and shows i've seen in my life! the sloppiness of Tom, Travis carrying the band as usual and Mark killing it with those basslines! Standard Blink!

As someone who's been listening to this band since they were playing outside at strip malls I see nothing wrong with this performance.
the people that complain about Tom and his vocals really don't get it. he has been playing music for 20 something years, had a bad back injury, got addicted to pain killers(which btw fuck with your voice), and he is now in his late 30's. like what do you expect from him this was an amazing show

I'm glad I saw them in like that, because the whole Neighborhoods phase only was the logical evolution of Blink with everything that happened with +44 and Ava. Mark and Travis sound pretty good with Matt on the guitar, but California is just a second +44 album.

trust me you cant move or dance at reading lol. When I went to see them in 2010 my feet were barely on the ground and if your arms were up, they werent coming back down because there was no space to put them down :p

Hmmm... the interesting thing about your statement is that there isn't even an inkling of reverb on anything he is doing besides moments on his vocals maybe (and that isn't even controlled by him, but rather their FoH engineer) Are you perhaps referring to the flanger effect he uses sometimes in bridges of songs on his guitar? Or just his shit tone, all together? Or perhaps you are referring to the overall shit quality of this video? (Cause it is fucking terrible... the mix is fucking horrible). I only see this on punk rock videos, where people are so confident in what they think they know (in your case, calling whatever tone of his guitar that doesn't sound like the normal loud distorted rock guitar you are sooo used to and really only know) reverb.. I mean shit... what if it sounded like a bunch of elephants fucking? I guess that's reverb too huh? You can read this and reflect on it and call me pretentious, an ass hole, or whatever the fuck you want. That's fine... You have the right to believe and have an opinion on ANYTHING you want... For an after-hiatus Show it isn't that bad. Many songs really kicked ass like asthenia, easy target and violence and they also seem to be having fun with each other here. Thx 4 uploading :)

when will people realize it isn't about sounding perfect? it's about them having fun and entertaining you. would you pay 100$ to listen to the album? no. it's about seeing them and having fun, it's entertainment to not an album. You'd be mad if they lip sync, mad when they don't sound perfect. stfu it's awesome!

Seing this, after all this drama, I realize how good they were together at that time. I'm not saying Skibba is bad, I love him with ALK3 & he's done great work with blink from what I've seen so far. But damn. I saw them live in 2013 and it was great. But this performance, right there, it's really really good. I'm sad cuz I still don't understand how you wouldn't want to play the with this band all the time. As a musician, I know you need to experiment and as an artist, I know you need to let your creativity flow. But god, how in the world could Tom leave this ?

It's a festival so they adjust the sound levels during the first song as the bands don't get a proper sound check
