Love to listen to informed people. After all you dont go to a dentist when your having problems with your hart. I find it near impossible to find truly profesional diesel engines machinics. Well here on the south West coast of Vancouver Island CANADA. I DON'T KNOW WHY THAT IS.

I learned about how important the dowel pins are on transmissions when i had a Big block 72' chevy pickup. I snapped 3 Th400 cases within 2 months because missing dowel pins lol

We have seen just about every model engine there is crack pistons. ALSO, we have found that K&N cotton filters work great in marine applications. 🤣 Thank you for all the extensive content

Your content is a whole different level these are engineering basics, but your are right people buy tunes but in reality how do you know what's happening inside that engine with that tune. What I do know is that heat is the cause of failures in most diesel engines, greatly appreciated for your videos they have thought me a lot. I have a 6.4 and I know this engine was built by Navistar to mend with Ford for the 6.0 but emissions destroy this engine quick due oil dilution.

30:27 would the installer not spin the water pump by hand ,as a test, once he has installed it---at least to spin it around to put the water pump pulley bolts on??, or is it that once the belt is on the water pump that tension puts an angled rearward force on the water pump impeller/shaft pushing it just a tab backwards more, or is it once the water pump heats up the impeller shaft heats up and expands rearwardly?
What an amazing channel. I love these "autopsy" type videos. For fun I go to salvage yards and pull vehicles apart and try to find the failure and honestly 90% of engine failures that I see are nothing more than lack of oil and or lack of oil changes.
I am a huge Oldsmobile diesel collector with 4 of them and buying my first Powerstroke soon to go and buy them and haul them back to Arkansas. I will buy an 05-07 F250 6.0...
    What a great channel....

Very good content!! Makes me wanna bring my truck in for new valve covers and checkup on everything just be sure everything is ok.
I've always changed my oil on hours or conditions but always 5k or less.
