Word of warning on increasing FOV: there is a trade off between more awareness with higher FOV, but it comes at the cost of making it a little harder to see what you’re aiming at in the center of the screen at longer distances.
I've been playing apex since Season 1, and I am super inconsistent, bruh. I have practiced daily for over 6 months (recoil control, accurate flicks, track of dummies at different speeds and distances), and also watched many hours of awarness tutorials, and yet here I am. At this point I feel like I am literally uncapable of improving for a lack of intelligence. Lmao
It's just an intuition thing. I completely sympathize, I have around 800-900 hours on apex, I practice all the time, and I still am not good; I've noticed that Apex just goes against my instinct. Personally I've learned I have to think less instead of more. Maybe that's the case with you too. I doubt you're too stupid to play Apex lol
@@draketinjum428 That's what I have relised too. Whenever I take a long break of the game (actual game, not firing range) I have a very strong popoff. Maybe I just need to relax and stop overthinking stuff. Thanks for answering and for the advice.
I started day one and kept on hopping off and on the game and now I’m just starting to get into the game and all im saying is that I used to overthink my gunfights but now I just go with it and do what’s on my mind because if u overthink stuff ur brain is gonna get cramped and ur gonna get confused so just go with ur gut and just do it
I just started playing Apex 2 1/2 months ago, and I’ve only played as Fuse. My friends have all been playing since launch so we always get thrown into level 400+ lobbies. None of them ever use Fuse but they really like having me on the team as him. I’ve gotten very accurate with my clusters that gets super helpful pushing teams out over cover. I exclusively use the Flatline, and my secondary is usually a 301 or bocek
Personally, I've recently fallen in love with the Mozambique. My go-to combo is R-301/Mozzy and it's done wonders for my fights. Cheers for the menu tips, I think they're really gonna help me out!
Love these videos and how you’re able to really show everything you’re talking about! 3 things I think are also huge when it comes to getting better at apex (this may be more for moving from the intermediate stage to the higher level play stage, would love to see a video for tips of people in this category) 1. playing cover (you kind of touched on this in movement section). As you start fighting better and better enemies, playing cover and not getting caught out in the open being no where near cover is so important. Get beamed and instantly downed by a high accuracy enemy (or more than one at the same time) happens all the time but being mindful about always being close to cover is something that really helps me. 2. Knowing when to heal. This is actually huge, a lot of people don’t know when to heal and don’t do a good enough job of keeping track on enemy health. This can be solved through good team communication (always communicate damage you do to enemies and who is damaged and when you are healing) but, in general, if your shield gets cracked you should be looking for the first opportunity to heal that shield or get an armor swap (this is situation but I’m sure you get what I mean). 3. Recognizing that the win is not the goal, the goal is to get better. This was briefly touched on in the mental part at the end but seriously, getting wins without getting in a lot of fights or spending the majority of early and mid games never fighting will not make you better, especially not in a timely manner. Getting in as many fights as possible is the best and fastest way to get better. I would love to hear your tips for getting into a healthy number of fights every game especially on the new map. There are a ton of variables that go into it but in general looting fast and dropping with other teams or close to other teams you can rotate on, listening for enemy gun fire and planning rotations to keep you in the action where you think most likely the most fights will take place (watching where teams drop in the drop ship can also be a good way to do this, but teams move around so much especially on the new map with all the gravity canons). Anyway I think these are all huge things to keep in mind when trying to level up your play!
Thanks for the detailed comment Xriqq! But yeah, the map is huge so getting a lot of fights is kind of a throw of the dice. I've been trying to watch where enemies land more recently as I am in the drop ship.
For controller ps4 players, I recommend looting with your index finger instead of your thumb. It's faster for me to loot but thats just my experience, other people might have other tactics but that's my tip 👍. For controller players it's easier to play close range weapons than long range so I suggest r99, prowler (I use that normally 👍), a shotgun, volt, and maybe wingman? Takes some time to master it though 💀. Not sure if I missed some weapons but I probably did.
I have my controls so weird. Click in right thumb to pick up, and left thumb to slide. Highly recommended even if it takes a second to adjust to opening doors with R3
Yesssss I truly agree about prioritizing loot at first, happens so many times when you get teammates who hot drop, grab 1 Mozambique and then instantly run to fights and get downed immediately!! Like they really think they're going to do something lol
Well I started playing 1 day ago, started because winter express but then loved game. I usually win arena matches and duos or trios maybe every match at least top 5 to top 1

i've only recently started playing apex, mainly because my old PC was too weak... now that my new one is capable to run it on good settings i've started playing and the first thing i did differently than in my time of trying out fortnite is that i threw my noob-butt into hot dropzones. I'm still not good but i see myself improving with aim and movement and plays and such. Yes i choke under pressure still, yes i do rely on my teammates a lot... which are always randoms because i don't have friends to play with... but i do see myself also hitting those bocek shots more consistently, i see myself hitting the occasional sentinel or longbow headshot, i see myself beaming people with smg's or stick them with arc stars more consistently i was a coward in fortnite... that's why i dont like the game. Now i changed my whole outlook on battle royales and like to dive head first into action and if i land in the lobby i'll do it as many times as i need to get out of that starting battle victorious one thing i do like is sniping... yes yes i know, active combat sharpens the blade... but c'mon, poking at 2 or 3 squads from across the field hitting bodyshot after bodyshot and headshot, knock etc just feels so GOOD i went 1,4k damage one round (which is minescule compared to what experienced players do) with a sentinel poking at squads and getting 3 kills from that and.... 6 assists XD team went into the fight, i cracked their shields every time they dared to come out of that cover

i dont mean to point this out as a mistake but i think it would be better to carry 180-240 ammo since its 3-4 stacks compared to 4-6 because we can use the extra slots for nades (after subtracting meds and shields) but overall great video and learnt a lot from it
I make sure I get 240 ammo for each sub or assault weapon I get and then 2 medkits 2 shield battery 8 shield cells and 4 syringes, the point of this is to have enough ammo and heals to handle a push after destroying a team, quick heal and quick kills
The RE 45 will do you wonders in a pinch. It’s actually such an underrated gun and can one clip most people with just a blue mag. I really wish more people would talk about it
I’m not trying to be showing off but I’m level 250 and this still helped me a little so this will help low levels a lot and you are clear and I understand you not like different people.
I just got back into the game since season 7, hated the r-99 for the first few games because I lost a match because I lost my ammo and the gun was super hard to use, then in a few games I started using it more and now I am wrecking people with it
I wished they lowered TTK. It favours pre made teams a lot which makes Solo Q hell for people who can’t spend 3 hours or more per day in the game. Plus it makes third partying an extremely strong tool as the injured team will be quick to kill while the invading team has ammo, armour and the element of surprise. What pisses me off is that even certain weapons described to “Hit like a truck” take 5 or more HEADSHOTS to down the person just for the person to pull out a shield on top of that so you can’t finish them off.
I never watch these kinds of videos but I found this one on a whim. The inventory management tweak was interesting, and I've been playing the last few days with a much larger load of grenades, and a lot less health/shields. Gotta say I like the results.
A really good tip to learn plays and gunfights under pressure is to land fragment, I used to be the worst but I land there on worlds edge all the time just to get warmed up and my gameplay has improved greatly
@@TimProVision I didn’t survive a lot of the time until I got better from it, but everyone is different and learn from different things, but these tips did help me
This season is actually pretty good I like the new map but it could be A LOT better and it feels smaller than it is because of the huge rocks and most places people dont go at all other than that its pretty good especially cuz wins are ez cause so many people die within 2 mins of the game and left with 5 squads left
Right after this video I played a few games in a row doing a few hundred damage and one with over a thousand damage. Im a noob and this video helped a lot. 👍
As a new player that played ranked for 6 hours an only got 3 wins i didn’t get any kills either i help team shoot or try to win a gunfight but i get outmatch then on my banner just seeing 0 kills pisses me off 😭
This biggest challenge i face is moron teammates. Dropping into spots that 3 other teams are dropping into simultaneously. Its probably the absolute dumbest thing you can do in the game because when 3 teams drop at the same time you're removing any skill and placing you and YOUR TEAMS survival on luck. If you drop near a gun mod and the enemy next to you drops near a weapon who do you think is gonna survive? Its been talked about plenty by pros but new players should be aware of this before anything else imo. Also another huge thing about the beginning of the game is getting to the ground first. If you do choose a hot spot and decide to land there have way through the drop ships path after 5 squads have already landed there you will land and die. Always land with your jump master. Unless he or she is doing what I mentioned above. Simple common sense will get you more wins and reward you with the most important thing which is FUN.
Yeah, I've said a few times on the channel your drop is literally so important and it feels a lot of players don't understand it! Thanks for the input!
If you are having trouble having fun in apex, play octane. I never really had fun in this game until I played octane and I was like “hOLy fUcK iM aLiVe rIgHt nOw”
I wished I knew all the abuse I’d take playing this game..it’s the most toxic game out there!!…You always get that guy whose starts shouting abuse like it’s your fault, even though they have made a bad play! Or you revived someone or respawn them only for them to leave you when your down in ranked! I love this game, but lately it’s been a bitch to play..I’m hoping this season will be better..but it’s the same people playing so I doubt it ! Great video 👍
@@TimProVision I know Tim,but in Ranked you sort of need it..but it’s getting to the point where it’s going to be the case I’m afraid 😟...but thanks for the reply 👍
I remember trying to pick up a wingman at first and i was bad with it but now i be running the wingman and pk😅 i wouldnt be able to use these if i was a new player
I’ve noticed, I’m nowhere near as good as I used to be. Above average-never was pro. I think my eyesight has deteriorated. When you do die in apex it does feel like it’s because of a better player or team player and not by someone who cheated. I hate playing with someone running away because of a higher skill level and expects you to keep up, lol. And they wonder why nobody is there to revive them. I giggle to myself all the time when this happens.
These are great tips but are they more suited for PC or Console players? As a Console player I find that PCs have an advantage especially in the movement category. Plenty of times ive dropped with pc players looting a bin right out from under me and by the time i find some acceptable loot, they are half way across the map and I'm trying to catch up. Also I find there may be some delay between console and pc servers even if they are crossplay.
I played really good in Apex I want a lot of trios with my teammates but my teammates sometimes our garbage and don't know how to play so always have to kill whole Squad by myself and sometimes I die
People keep saying that the Flatline is hard to use. I’m going to be honest, I have never had an issue with the Flatline. It’s probably my favorite gun right now.
i got 1206 m long shot by using grenade. its not a glitch. i ran away after grenade my enemies then they got knocked by the ring after i already ran away far into the ring
ive really been struggling this season due to the breakdown of a friendship and loss of the squad i used to play with every night. i've been having a really hard time solo queuing all the time and feel pretty stuck and defeated. any tips on how to improve as a solo?

Came from your tiktok, there tips are great 👍
Hey let's go! Thank you 😊
thanks!!!! some good stuff in there will show to my friend.
Thanks Tomas!
Thanks I’m a new player, enjoyed this video, and it helped me out as well
Good luck:)
This is some good advice. Today im trying ash.
Good luck with her!
Dont steal your dead teammates loot if you can respawn them, they’ll thank you
haha yeah, for sure!
@@TimProVision yeah you did mention it and and so glad you did! Great video!
In my head I can aim like that. In reality I don't even get close
My old apex legend account got hacked :/ so i quit for ages now i have forgot how to play but ty for this vid it really helped :)
Best of luck with the comeback!
the 30-30 with a 3x scope and a decked out car smg can work wonders
bro i like the way u talk and ty so much i learned alot
Number one tip for new map. Dont engage in any fights because youll just get 5th partied
If you are having trouble having fun in apex, play octane. I never really had fun in this game until I played octane and I was like “hOLy fUcK iM aLiVe rIgHt nOw”
bro thank you this video helped me improve alot
Glad to hear it!
Tim how do you get your game to look so vibrant and colorful? Do you play with HDR or is it an after-effect added in editing?
Not much edits. Pretty much just default Xbox series x. Sometimes I'll add 10% saturation
You can always turn the voice chat off :). Thanks for watching Rob!
@@TimProVision I know Tim,but in Ranked you sort of need it..but it’s getting to the point where it’s going to be the case I’m afraid 😟...but thanks for the reply 👍
This is the most helpful video I've seen. I play with two Really good teammates and they noticed a big improvement.
Happy to help 😊
Man your video are so good bro
Thanks! I really appreciate it!
That thumbnail is so inviting
Thanks! I hope you enjoyed the video
I have been playing since the end of season 3 and start of season 4 and I still needed this information thank you
Glad it was useful!
im taking a break from fortnite and i feel like apex is one of the best games ive played other than fortnite and this vid is so helpful
Good luck with your Apex Journey!
I loved this tip video! Thank you so much TimProVision.
Thanks so much for watching and the comment!
certified hood classic
Thanks for watching.
Purple shield over gun every time, my fists are my ultimate weapon
im an octane and i prefer to stay at most 20 meters apart from my team
Wingman is very good with 1x classic sight on it. I find it helpful with merciless wing skin
Love the wingman!
I play console but I never really do tips based off an input. So they are for both.
@@TimProVision Thanks for replying and thanks for the tips. Ill be practicing.
Agree with everything but the weapons portion a p2020 is nasty if you know how to use it also the re45 major arenas guns you can make purple quickly.
Yeah this isn't really dedicated to arena, but thanks for the input!
@@TimProVision you’re awesome thanks for your videos and info! Love watching them
My goal in games is honestly just make top 50%, and if I can make top 5 squads I consider that a win. I don't play sweaty, I play to have fun.
Thanks for watching!
I played really good in Apex I want a lot of trios with my teammates but my teammates sometimes our garbage and don't know how to play so always have to kill whole Squad by myself and sometimes I die
Thanks for watching!
People keep saying that the Flatline is hard to use. I’m going to be honest, I have never had an issue with the Flatline. It’s probably my favorite gun right now.
The way you said longbow i thought you were about to rap
Haha whoops.
"If there is a purple shield next to a gun, you take the gun every single time."
*Proceeds to pick up shield before gun in next clip*
I purposely placed the clip there because I already had a gun... Come on.
@@TimProVision oh yeah just noticed lol looked like a different clip for a moment to me because of the transition 😅
you are really good at apex
Thanks Pepper!
And if you don't have anyone to play ranked with It doesn't matter you will eventually get way better and carry yourself out of bronze silver ect
This really good but sadly I do want to get better for playing casual not competition
👍🏾👍🏾 Good video
Thanks for watching!
i got 1206 m long shot by using grenade. its not a glitch. i ran away after grenade my enemies then they got knocked by the ring after i already ran away far into the ring
ive really been struggling this season due to the breakdown of a friendship and loss of the squad i used to play with every night. i've been having a really hard time solo queuing all the time and feel pretty stuck and defeated. any tips on how to improve as a solo?
Not gonna lie, Ash tactical into her ult into a PK or Mastiff, even a CAR. Seems STRONG.
It is a lot of fun!
@@TimProVision Replied within a minute of Posting. Wow... Big fan, TimPro! Very Big, Ya helped me with... Well, Starting the game, to the point where I get 2k quite consistently. So, Again, Thank you. Best Apex Guides.
I listened to The Rock Faceoff and now I am predator level. 😎
Haha lets gooo
I always run 120 on both guns unless one is a sniper or shotty 4 Batts 4 health kits and grenades. May need to redo my loadout. I just like having a balance box oh 4 shield cells
Thanks for sharing!
I got two wins out of my first ten games. Now I’m just getting slaughtered though. New to the game and hoping this community isn’t as toxic as COD
Great!! This vid need to be seen by every begginer player! Keep going, good content!
Thank you, will do!
Question dropping in on hot drops like for example fragment east and west I personally don't want to go there but my teammates do what do I do?
