So good. One thing I would love to know to make this timer more robust is how to make it automatically adjust to the length of the fusion clip. So you could just drag it out to 10sec and it would animate in count and then animate out. Hope this makes sense.
Man, I'll have to watch this vid a few more times. Great great content. I appreciate the extra explanation throughout the different steps for those of us who aren't super familiar with fusion yet. Keep up the good content.!
Just brilliant. I felt there was more to fusion thsn just using background and mask to create shape. I come from 3D graphics im blender and a little bit of adobe illustrator. So using background and mask to create shape wasn't really a good alternative for me Thankss
Trying to come from the Adobe suite of tools to Davinci and while it absolutely feels like standing in front of a fully opened fire hydrant, your videos are a huge help! Thank you. One of my concerns of switching was motions graphics within Resolve and it seems the tools are there.
Instead of making a controller for a timer, you can use this expression Text(floor((comp.RenderEnd-time)/frames)) it's more dynamic than the controller. Edit: frames= default frames you used. e.g, divide by 24 Cheers
Hey man amazing video Can you please show how to make the lighting effects logo reveal. Btw you are very helpful to us newbies to learn and understand how to create amazing art . Thanks for that.
HI @JayAreTV thank you for the great content. I was wondering how could I make this timer dynamic (just setup the time into edition) so I do not need to recreate this for each time I needed, like 15s, 30s, 45s and 60s. Could you do a little explain how to do that? Thank you again!
Is there a way to make the timer automatically adjust to the length of the clip? Also is there a way to export/add to a Powerbin to use in lots of other projects?
Thank you, I was quite wondering how could I use timer, I always had a hard time trying to start out with fusion. To me fusion/node based stuffs are kind of advanced to me, i often do the old school way. I'm still not sure how I i will fully utilize fusion features in the future just yet
Hi. Thank you for your tutorial. But i have one question: how can i change the rotation direction (sellipse) from left to right? Should i use any expression or effect from fussion?
Is there a reason I can't see both shapes at the same time? I can see the ellipse when I press "2" on the ellipse, but when I press "2" on the rectangle, the ellipse disappears. I also only see my sMerge has one white input on the top of it. Not multiple like yours...
instead of the rectangles how would I do something like an interval timer where it is one color for 40 secs and a second color for 20 secs and they play one right after the other as an example?
There are so many things you did on this video that are huge learning points. Thank you.

Have you found a way to make that happen? I have all sorts of lengths of times to use, I don't want to have to make a million adjustments each time!
@@SummitForWellness not yet but I have a good idea I haven't implemented yet.

Thanks, will do!
Muchas gracias.
I guess as a next step you could make the timer configurable in terms of length so it could have variable lengths without touching the fusion setup.
Is there a way to do that? I would love that!

Hey Jay, Great Video. Thanks
You bet
you are so fucking good at this man. Every time I refer to one of these tutorials I end up getting sincerely mad that I didn't watch it sooner.

Thank you for the video! Question: how could we add a sound, so each 1 second, it plays a short sound/ding, etc.?
Set a sound manually for every default frames you set.

Whenever I try to add the text node, the circles disappear. And the final color of the wheel is not as I configured.
What am I doing wrong?
How to make more time example 1 min timer
