I have been trying to catch up and get some videos out of my drafts and live for you and I hope this grocery haul is useful ahead of the weekend. Enjoy yourselves. xxx
FRIDAY - Picky tea - bao, cheesy chicken bites, cucumber, hummus, crisps, watermelon etc.
SATURDAY - Lamb kofta out of the freezer made into naan wraps for us with salad and homemade raita. McDonald’s Fakeaway for the kids
SUNDAY - Pork baps with crackling, roast potatoes and cabbage/broccoli
MONDAY - Creamy chorizo pasta
TUESDAY - Hot dogs
WEDNESDAY - Pork and peanut curry with rice Thai pork & peanut curry recipe | BBC Good Food
THURSDAY - Fish fingers, chips and mushy peas for kids. Mark cooking for us.

I'm a 35 year-old mum of three, who lives in Cheshire, in the UK, and this is my small part of the online world, where I share parts of my life - whether that's the day-to-day stuff, motherhood, recipes, or all that other stuff that makes me, me. I'm married to Mark, who is honestly my best mate, and we have three children, Bill, Daisy and Stanley, and they seem to be growing up so darn fast these days. We have a golden retriever called Merlin, and two cats called Romeo and Elsa and...hang on, this is sounding a bit like a kid's essay at school isn't it? Sorry about that! I have the tendency to ramble a bit. Life did not go to plan for me, but I am very grateful for that, otherwise I wouldn't be where I am today.
As for this channel, you might find everything from food videos, clothing hauls, home updates, vlogs now and again, and some topics close to my heart, such as coparenting, mental health, hearing loss and Stickler Syndrome too. I am a very average mum, but I try my absolute best at whatever I do, and hopefully you enjoy following along!
Im a newby wanna be foody, followed for years n would love to see a step by step cook along style guid. Like you did once with a shepperds pie, which was really nice btw :) you really have a good way of "sexing" up basic meals x

Hi Charlotte great haul and some good meal ideas that I might have to steal 🙈, the starbucks pods in toffee nut flavour are being sold off in sainsburys for 1 pound a packet just so you know might be worth a trip to stock up, I have 2 kids and understand coffee is an essential item lol xx
Tip from an American on the pork: if you have leftovers of the plain pork, mix it with a little bbq sauce and put it on (I don’t know how to say it in a way UK folks would understand) dinner rolls cut like burger buns, to make mini bbq sandwiches for packed lunches. (In the US, we would call small sandwiches/burgers like this a “slider” but I have no idea why.) The bbq pulled pork will be just as tasty cold, and it’s a pretty kid-friendly lunch item. My mom used to make them for me when I was a kid and other kids would beg me to trade them, even for cookies or other treats, but I wouldn’t because I liked them so much.
I do these, Czech/English and my son is obsessed with them ❤

Picky tea’s are the best! Our food shop was quite cheap this week as I’m trying to use up all the dinners we have in already 🙈 those red apples look amazing too! I literally said in my last food shop video my son only likes red apples 😂 I guess they’re sweeter!
I always have veg in the freezer waiting to he used, then the husband complains its not fresh so throws it out and wants to buy more 😂
They come in big packs (cheap ones anyway) so I cant use it all just 2 of us...and where does it end up? Back in the freezer 😂
Chocolate corn flakes remind me of the chocolate flakes they always have at the breakfast buffet in foreign hotels 😂

I can't believe the price of a watermelon now.. puts me off buying them now..
I can't even buy fresh fruit no lie..thankfully neither me or the husband rly eats much but its a real treat when it comes alon

I use leftover pulled pork (without bbq) in wraps, i just mix it with cream cheese and Taco seasoning, spread on tortilla wraps, add some shreaded cheddar, lettuce and tomatoes 👌

I brought all the Aldi version of McDonalds and was really disappointed I won’t get buying it again. Farmfoods & Tesco both do really good dupes of McDonald’s nuggets though xx

Coca Cola is really lovely in the slow cooker with pork and gammon 🤗xo no water but about 1 bottle approximately and for about a few hours on low and it’s beautiful x Jamie Oliver has a good recipe online for Coca Cola gammon/pork x
