Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel and to another grocery haul.
This week I went to Aldi and popped into Lidl.
This was an expensive shop for me, but I feel like I got a lot for my money.
I hope you enjoy the video 💕

I think you did well with your shop. Good that the children are trying new things. Unfortunately everything is so much more expensive now but you did get a lot for your money. I like your videos because you show your real life and you are so down to earth.
Thank you so much xx
Great haul. I think you got alot for your money! Kids are growing up so need more food/bigger portions and sounds like they're eating slightly more food choices? So maybe that's starting to reflect the price, but think you've done fab and you've got so many good items.
I'm glad your eldest wants to start making more of his food! ❤
#faveyoutuber
Thank you. They're getting better at trying new things thankfully! So maybe that is reflecting in the price 🤔xx
I like you haul for this week, I Know is more expensive, I see real good food and that is more healthy, good job Claire!!!!
Thank you xx
£107 is a good shop for family of 5, you got loads. good haul you have. new to your channel. joined today. I done a lidi shop to day. not shopped in lidi for 5 years. it's out of my way. had a budget of £30 for family of 3, animals food is delivered so not in budget. but went over budget from £58, got 3 dinners can stretch it out or i can top up on the weekly shop if needed. think i go back to lidi again.
Thanks for subscribing 😀
I like Lidl, we're lucky and have 2 nearby. I think the prices are really good there..I'm funding it harder to stay in budget these days! 🙈 x
Mmm i so wish i was this organized. Lol i decide on that day on what to make for dinner🤭🤭.
I love to see what other moms are feeding their family. Thanks for sharing. Im watching from South Africa
I quite often just pick something off the dinner plan each day and decide what to do, but we don't always stick to the plan 🙈x
Love your manifesting, Go Claire ! 🌟 Fab haul too. Xx
Thank you 😊 xx
I love your videos, real and down to earth. I think you have done well with shopping, I can't seem to go below £120/week
Thank you so much. It's expensive feeling a family! It's the snacks I find that push the price up! But the kids are always hungry apparently xx🙈
I think you do so well for your budget. We are a family of 4 and spend about £120 a week
Thank you xx
Another fab vlog, it's true about putting mind to it to achieve with saving etc xx
Thank you 🙂 xx
Can't say anything about the cheaper waffles, but I buy bird's-eye waffles for zach and I. Tesco do waffles with hidden veg in them and they are nice, my sister gets them for her non veg eating kids. The way I look at food Claire, especially having had very fussy children, it's far better they eat something substantial than virtually nothing at all. Surely it's better to eat waffles and sausages or chicken nuggets than a nugget or 2 and a piece of bread. Especially when you can't make 2 completely different meals .
The chocolate and caramel pots look yummy.
My daughter and I love gnocchi, I always find it's nicer when roasted in olive oil and then added to a bake ...stops the gnocchi from getting extra soft.
Definitely better they eat something rather than nothing. They go on and off things so quickly too! Such a pain 🙈
That sounds really nice with the gnocchi xx
Claire you should add some of your bbq sauce into the gravy when you do bangers and mash it’s really nice , enjoying your vlogs ❤
Ooh nice 👍 I'll try that next time time x
Mooie boodschappen shoplog ❤fijne zondag 😊
Thank you! You too 😊 xx
Only one store sells Sweet Baby Ray's all the time, now costs €6.85. Aldi just had the original at €3.99 so had to get, then found they reduced to €1.99 so, had to pick up extra. Daughter loves the; Hickory and Brown Sugar.
€6.85! That's so much! Glad you found it on offer somewhere! Xx
I enjoyed watching the haul and looking out for the recipe with the chocolate cookie
Thank you ❤️ that will be coming one day this week 🙂
Good haul Claire have a wonderful Sunday 😊💞😘 xx
Thank you! You too! Xx
Awesome as usual. How do you make your sweet potato chips? Haloumi wraps yum what goes in them? I was out today and had a haloumi and avocado "burger" with a poached egg, rocket, mayo and caramelised onions...so yum. L9ve to see your gnocchi bake
That burger sounds epic 😋
I just peel and slice up the sweet potatoes, put a little oil on them and put it the oven until they seem done. So easy and so good! Xx
I think you guys are very wise and responsible with your money
Thank you x
@@MumLifeAndMore 😊 did you guys get any of those storms that everyone was talking about
@lorisiedl8733 I didn't notice anything in particular, just some rain, it was quite heavy yesterday while I was at work. X
@@MumLifeAndMore it's only because several the girls I watch have mentioned it and I've heard there's been flooding like up in the Yorkshire Dale area
@lorisiedl8733 yes there has been in other parts of the country, which is awful. But we've been quite lucky down south I think x
My daughter eats waffles when she’s poorly. Budget wise I think I’ve done the same this week and thought let me try something different. I like how you do a mini review on the processed stuff. Did you watch that documentary and it made you more aware? The Aldi Oreo cookies are addictive 😂 I think mentally we’re aware half term is coming up so are stocking up a bit more. How many bottles of squash do you guys finish per week btw?
We usually get through 2 bottles of squash if kids are home and not at school, otherwise it's just about one bottle a week.
I watched a few documentaries and that made me more aware of what we were eating/buying xx
Mmm i had never seen potato waffles 🤭
They're really nice in a fish finger sandwich 🥪 😋 x
Here in The States tolliet paper and paper towels are highly expensive.
I wonder why they're so expensive?
@@MumLifeAndMore blame Biden
When is your assumption video coming out?? Good haul 🎉
As soon as I get a chance to record it 🤣 hoping to do it this week, along with a life update! October has been busy 😆 x
I thought you did get quite a lot there for the £107 & you are a family of 5 so I think you did well. You got household/ freezer/ fridge/ fruit/ veg. Must be difficult as well because thd kids don't all like the same thing so obviously you have to buy what all of them like. I don't think anywhere is cheap to shop anymore, lidl & aldi are maybe cheaper, think how much this shop woukd cost at say sainsburys? But sometimes they don't have everything you want so we'll done for getting everything in your shopping list. Did you do the beef stroganoff with the mince , did you make the meatballs I suggested to have meatball stroganoff? I commented last week you said be a good idea. You sound like you all ready for your financial situation to change & getting all.prepared now, thats great. I'm sure you will get to go back on holiday next year yiu sound very determined
Here in The States I spent &114 dollars for one person.
Wow! I think things are more expensive over there from what I see on other grocery hauls
@@MumLifeAndMore it is more expensive here.
❤❤❤
you do not need to diet i think you may have a bad relationship with food and your kids have picked up on this which may partially explain why they are fussy
I think I do have a bad relationship with food, (but I've definitely not passed it onto my kids, they're just fussy, I've always cooked etc for them and offered things, and they see my and the hubby eat balanced dinners etc) they are just pains with food 🙈 xx
I think this comment is unnecessary and very presumptuous! There can be lots of reasons why children are “fussy eaters” such as food aversions, negative experiences (choking), sensory sensitivities etc. It is not your place to tell someone wether they need to diet or not and certainly not your place to state that Claire had a bad relationship with food. There was nothing positive or kind about your comment. Sometimes it’s best to not comment!
Don't be rude how dare you say that who do you think you are???? Get off your high horse out your ivory tower!!!!
thanks for video 🥰 just courious :) it is normal to eat prefabricated food in UK? becauce for example in czech we buy a minced beef and hamburger buns in package like toasted bread and we do it by ourselfs..
and the cubed potatoes with spices, we don't have these, we have only american potatoes or french fries in freezers 😁
Yes it's mostly prefabricated as we like to be lazy in the UK a lot of the time!
🤣🤣
We have a lot of 'convenience food'. I try and do as much from scratch as I can, but I don't always have the time in the evenings. Xx
From concentrate and none concentrate actually isn’t much different x
Yes someone did tell me that. and when I looked it up, it says there's no nutritional difference - so now I mostly buy from concentrate, unless I'm feeling fancy 😂😂 and I'm grateful for being told 👍 x
You got a lot for your money I think . Don’t shop there as it’s too far out for me and I don’t drive as I have epilepsy, so would need a taxi back, whereas I get my shopping delivered by Tesco and get del saver which works out a lot cheaper than a taxi, or an individual delivery charge every week. I just pay a monthly charge by direct debit which works out to be very reasonable x
I think Tesco are very good 👍 you can definitely shop fairly cheaply there, and good quality too xx
Oh my goodness this haul would cost at least $250 in the US!
Actually scratch that-$300
I know US food cost is crazy! X
I c u bought some dino pooh honey bee aka petite pois . Voice sounds like its finally improving . Px
Haha yes I did! 🤣 yes it's definitely improving...now my eye is acting up...never ending 🙈 xx
@@MumLifeAndMore 4 goodness sake u must have misbehaved in a past life to have this much bad karma in this one lol ha ha ...... the kids wind you up the grocery bills just keep increasing the house is constantly needing reset and the family keep coming down with some bug or another as do you and then dont even start me on 4 sets of eyes and ears that dont see things needing done or do what they are asked ....... the universes way of punishing us .... i think we shpuld throw caution to the wind and book a one way ticket for ourselves to somewhere peaceful beautiful and perfectly warm and sunny . Ha ha u know i am only joking we r far too responsible and kind mummies to be so selfish .... however it would teach the little monkeys not to mess with mama 👌🤗😁👍🤣 hope sunday is going smoothly i think i am going to crack into the bottle of red wine i have remaining ..... is a gin or advocate on your self care tonight ???? or maybe both lol. Have a good week honey bee talk during the week pxxxx
Hope you are all ok
We're all good thank you 😊 Hope you're well x
somebody educate me why are people posting there shopping on youtube . what is the reason behind it is there money revenue to be made and this why everyone is on the band wagon i just don't get it and the end of the day its shopping please can someone help me understand is this the world we live in now
Personally, I enjoy watching other people's grocery hauls because it gives me ideas of other things to try, different meals to try, and I can compare what I spend. Plus I'm nosey 😆
@@MumLifeAndMore thank you for your reply
Do you have Halloween in England?
We do, it's become really popular and we love it, the kids love trick or treating 🙂
