I bought a GeoBook 110 from CCL a few months ago when i was between laptops. It was £43. Running Windows was incredibly slow but once I had put Debian on it it worked quite well. The sound was a bit flakey though. All in all not bad.
Yes, pretty underpowered for 2024, but for very basic tasks, it gets the job done. Unfortunately CCL seem to have put the price of their clearance stock up a bit now......
you can upgrade the geobook by adding a internal nvme SSD there's a slot marked HDD on the motherboard as far as I can remember it had 5 and 28 pins. i believe your can use upto a additional 128GB.
For 50 quid, hey it's at least a useable enough computer. But at it's original price of 170 quid - just get a used Dell Latitude or Lenovo Thinkpad from 2011-14. It'll have a Core i5 at least, 8GB RAM and a 250GB+ SSD. It'll run Minecraft and general use far better... and might even be cheaper.
