It can be a waking nightmare, with hallucinations occuring right from when you're not even properly awake yet. I remember waking up hearing a crowd of people shouting up to my first floor window to come outside where I was about to be kicked to death. That was a horrible episode, so bad they brought the valium out.
I thought angels were talking to me the very first time I heard voices. I spent all night in the bathroom having a discussion with them. It got so bad that next morning I drove my car into a telephone pole to get the voices to stop.
i have panic disorder and im p sure I went through a psychotic episode when I first got it bc I also believed the news caster was speaking directly to me and telling me i was going to die. that mindset was the scariest thing I have ever gone through and I'm so thankful that I was able to pull myself out. i cannot imagine what it's like for people that can't pull themselves out of that. they need help. its the worst feeling ever. we need to take more care of them instead of allowing them to be homeless or to take their lives.
It is very sad for the sufferer of this illness. Also very painful mentally to close family members and friends as words spoken are often very hurtful.

From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. @@BiorManyang-be5uj it’s an everyday struggle- some good and some bad. I don’t take any medication any more, the negatives for me outweigh any positives. Getting good sleep is very important and eating a good diet definitely does help, as well as something to focus on when times aren’t great- for me I listen to a lot of music, Hope you’re well and doing good, take care.

And some days you don’t cope, you just get through them hoping the next day is better and sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. Good sleep really does help, and a good diet as well helps. I recently went through Marijuana induced psychosis and a lot of this correlates to how I was thinking. I started smoking very young. Luckily my family helped me through by caring, research, and helping me quit! I think my mission in life is to help kids understand the disadvantages of marijuana instead of it being looked at as a medicine.

@@BillyBob-op6lg That’s what I went through. He needs to quit smoking thc. It might be hard to get him to stop. I didn’t believe that was the problem and got mad at anyone who said it was. The only way I got out of it was my family taking all my weed and keys to my truck. Give it about a month and he should be back to his normal self. Good luck!🙏
I live with this schizophrenia disease may have started from my elementary school due to gentic an dysfunctional dynamic in family an post birth defects caused by epilepsy...abuse from narc parents bullied in school being very sensitive person......now i have chronic pain adhd, ocd, oab,sever neurolgical pain, depression, anxiety many more undiagnosed untreated disease so subtle its a living hell its a vicious cycle 🔃 still fighting harder every day .
I am very sorry. I understand how you feel to a degree, my adult daughter was diagnosed with schizophrenia and she is having a very rough time with it. She is hospitalized at the moment, and she is very vulnerable and unstable. I am at my wits end trying to get her on the right meds and help her every way I can. Started smoking weed in 2020 when the pandemic was going and I felt like I hit a dead end and was going nowhere in life. When I started it made me more care free, social, and just a happier person. About a couple of years later I noticed my thoughts and feelings were getting worse but I felt like I couldn't stop because I felt it saved me in a way. By 2023 I felt like I was losing my mind, combining that with a few horrible things that happened, and it completely took a turn. A good amount of these symptoms I think were coming up, and I'm still struggling to completely stop, but I've smoked maybe a week or two in a row at most in the past 7 or 8 months and it's definitely gotten better.
If people are trying to make someone think they have schizophrenia, maybe it is because they are witnessing some or all the symptoms that were highlighted above. Many people who have schizophrenia suffer from anosognosia (lack of insight) which makes it so the person affected is unaware that they have a problem. Everyone around the individual will be able to see that they have the illness but the person with the illness would be oblivious to it making them feel like people are unjustly labeling them as schizophrenic when it may be true. Ultimately, it is for a doctor to decide if whether an individual should be diagnosed with schizophrenia or not.
When you write a book, you start creating voices. With modern psychiatry, acrimonious disputes are thus inevitable! Violent films make things even more complicated!
Its concerning especially schizophrenic don't understand their behavior/symptoms.. the fact that their delusions/hallucinations are very real and to themselves.... educating them to understand their symptoms and bringing them to hospital is difficult. 😢
I saw the cycle happen in person with my bro. He started talking about being wire tapped and watched. I thought he did something and had court or something. Then it gradually got worse when he started talking about delusions. As soon as I saw that I thought psychosis and got him to go to a psychward to get medicated

This Video is good but there's been some updates in the Neuroscience. We no longer believe in the idea of chemical imbalances triggering mental disorders. To me, I don't believe there's an objective way to test for mental disorders of type. Like, We still don't have a good or useful framework on how the mind actually operates. Like the brain is a very complex organ, it's a mass of neurons that I personally like to think of as electrochemically "transistors", and it runs an operating system that by nature is psychosomatic self-organization function design for problem solving and survival. I know of a Christian teacher (David Baldwin on the channel Hardcore Christianity) who said he's a former schizophrenic. Former as in not anymore. I myself experienced great alleviation from depression and gluttony by doing deliverance prayer in Jesus' name. Psychologists and psychiatrists can give you temporary band aids, but Christ can restore you completely -- praise Christ!
I have seen peoples almost got rid of this mental health but they return to using dangerous drug/Alchohol for fun. Some people with mental disorder happen to them not because of heavy depression. But, simply with little problem and influence of dangerous drugs. My personal observation experince and honest opinion is some of them is not unluck but stupid.

@@BillyBob-op6lg That’s what I went through. He needs to quit smoking thc. It might be hard to get him to stop. I didn’t believe that was the problem and got mad at anyone who said it was. The only way I got out of it was my family taking all my weed and keys to my truck. Give it about a month and he should be back to his normal self. Good luck!🙏

I live with this schizophrenia disease may have started from my elementary school due to gentic an dysfunctional dynamic in family an post birth defects caused by epilepsy...abuse from narc parents bullied in school being very sensitive person......now i have chronic pain adhd, ocd, oab,sever neurolgical pain, depression, anxiety many more undiagnosed untreated disease so subtle its a living hell its a vicious cycle 🔃 still fighting harder every day .

I am very sorry. I understand how you feel to a degree, my adult daughter was diagnosed with schizophrenia and she is having a very rough time with it. She is hospitalized at the moment, and she is very vulnerable and unstable.
I am at my wits end trying to get her on the right meds and help her every way I can.

Started smoking weed in 2020 when the pandemic was going and I felt like I hit a dead end and was going nowhere in life. When I started it made me more care free, social, and just a happier person. About a couple of years later I noticed my thoughts and feelings were getting worse but I felt like I couldn't stop because I felt it saved me in a way. By 2023 I felt like I was losing my mind, combining that with a few horrible things that happened, and it completely took a turn. A good amount of these symptoms I think were coming up, and I'm still struggling to completely stop, but I've smoked maybe a week or two in a row at most in the past 7 or 8 months and it's definitely gotten better.
Ive suffered from this as a child. Being bullied by my brother growing up which was degrading and scary.

If people are trying to make someone think they have schizophrenia, maybe it is because they are witnessing some or all the symptoms that were highlighted above. Many people who have schizophrenia suffer from anosognosia (lack of insight) which makes it so the person affected is unaware that they have a problem. Everyone around the individual will be able to see that they have the illness but the person with the illness would be oblivious to it making them feel like people are unjustly labeling them as schizophrenic when it may be true. Ultimately, it is for a doctor to decide if whether an individual should be diagnosed with schizophrenia or not.

I saw the cycle happen in person with my bro. He started talking about being wire tapped and watched. I thought he did something and had court or something. Then it gradually got worse when he started talking about delusions. As soon as I saw that I thought psychosis and got him to go to a psychward to get medicated

To me, I don't believe there's an objective way to test for mental disorders of type. Like, We still don't have a good or useful framework on how the mind actually operates. Like the brain is a very complex organ, it's a mass of neurons that I personally like to think of as electrochemically "transistors", and it runs an operating system that by nature is psychosomatic self-organization function design for problem solving and survival.
