69 and a sufferer my entire adult life. I found relief 20 years ago and share it here: Use a spot of body lotion (not body wash) on your tp. Paper won't stick to your skin and residue just glides off. A lucky discovery on my part. You need to remove all residue from your number 2. Two to six passes, until the paper is clear. And that's it. With body lotion you become residue free and free of the discomfort and itch of a crusty crack (and skidmarks 😌). Acidic residue causes most of the grief from hemorrhoids. Don't be played or Charmin'd. ANY two ply paper and any body lotion works. Only avoid body lotions with heavy perfumes.

I have had a mild case of it and what I found helped and basically got rid of it, at least for now is wetting the toilet paper. I use a dry piece, then a wet piece and then a dry piece. It's something really simple but it made a big difference. Wetting it helps you get cleaner faster back there also.

The pain can last a week or 2 weeks it all depends on your body then it will take about a month for the swelling to go down. It doesn't help if you are doing heavy lifting. Make sure you eat alot of fiber and drink lots of water what also helps is Doing sits bath for 20 mins

I would recommend eating congee/jok in your diet. It's an Asian rice porridge originated in Taiwan that East Asia eats for morning breakfast, kinda similar to Oatmeal. It's healthy and loaded with fibre. When I was at the hospital diagnosed with Leukemia, I've been struggling for days to get a bowel movement and when I had one, it was hard stools which damaged the rectal area causing blood to drip which freaked me out. #### I KNOW THE ANSWER #### I really hope this helps someone. There are a lot of videos giving false information about how to cure or treat hemorrhoids. The advice being given is incorrect. I know this because I have successfuly managed to treat my own very quickly following this dietary change. I really hope this helps someone. You need to eat Tubers and Root veg. Not 'FIBER' like all these videos keep saying because fiber is anything from wheat to Brocoli to oats to beans to wholegrain rice . Examples of What you should be eating : Sweet Potato, Yam, Cassava, Carrots, Beetroot, Parsnip etc.
Guys try 1/4th of water, 4 pinches of pink Himalayan salt and last but not least and 4 tablespoons of plain yogurt. Mix in vitamix for 30 seconds then drink let me know what you think.

I contracted external hemorrhoid after prolong heavylifting workout, I cured it with these meds and took a full 2 days to recover - paracetamol (ease the fever) - aveflon - prednisyn - rowatanal cream PS; got recommended to soak my butt w epsom salt however i opted for those meds above. you can try it if u want
Just eat about 3 or 4 large cloves of crushed garlic in a sandwich or with a salad or with baked beans. If the hemorrhoids are not too serious the hemorrhoids should be completely gone in about 6 ~ 10 hours. For more severe hemorrhoids (blood can be seen when having a bowel movement) use the same crushed garlic routine at least three time a day and within 3 or 4 days the hemorrhoids will be completely gone. Very simple, effective and very cheap way to completely cure hemorrhoids quickly without having to see a doctor.

I had hemorrhoids since I was in my teens and after I overheard a local doctor talking to a local farmer in my hometown to take raw garlic for his prostate cancer I tried the same advice for hemorrhoids and yes the raw minced garlic is extremely effective for hemorrhoids (I tested this on myself and yes garlic does work on hemorrhoids as the garlic is almost instantly absorbed into the bloodstream once the garlic is eaten)! Take the raw minced garlic with some other foods I listed above in my first comment. If the hemorrhoids are pretty serious and you have blood in your stools it will take about 3 or 4 days to fully clear up. For the most part you should feel results in as little as 24 hours. Try taking the 3 or 4 cloves of raw minced garlic 3 times at day if you can stomach the raw minced garlic. The garlic MUST be RAW to be effective as cooking the garlic will render the garlic healing properties ineffective. If you are really in lots of pain, take a hot bath for 30 minutes. This will help with the pain and relax the prostate. In the meantime a bath in hot/warm water will also help immensely before resting and sleeping off while you wait for the garlic to reach its full effect.
I have experienced some pain going if I wasn't near a bathroom and held it in for awhile. It felt like my intestines were twisting inside and was very painful and I couldn't go, but that has been on rare occasions. I try to avoid that as much as I can, but it has happened a few times and was extremely painful. As far as hemorrhoids go I just don't strain when going and luckily have never got them.

I have burning, extreme stabbing pain when having bowl movement, will frequently bleed like a menstruating woman, pain to the touch on one side and on a bulbous lump there, pain even during flatulence, and a normal fluffy to loose texture to bowel. this has gone on over a year and is driving me crazy. I've been to ER who told me it was anal fissures and referred me for colonoscopy Had colonoscopy and initially was told no fissures and only one polyp. I have an external. It's painful and I work in construction. How long do they normally last because I've had this one 5 days and it's hurting one day not the next then hurting again but never went away. I hurt so bad today I almost went to the hospital
The pain can last a week or 2 weeks it all depends on your body then it will take about a month for the swelling to go down. It doesn't help if you are doing heavy lifting. Make sure you eat alot of fiber and drink lots of water what also helps is Doing sits bath for 20 mins

I would recommend eating congee/jok in your diet. It's an Asian rice porridge originated in Taiwan that East Asia eats for morning breakfast, kinda similar to Oatmeal. It's healthy and loaded with fibre. You need to eat Tubers and Root veg. Not 'FIBER' like all these videos keep saying because fiber is anything from wheat to Brocoli to oats to beans to wholegrain rice .

Just eat about 3 or 4 large cloves of crushed garlic in a sandwich or with a salad or with baked beans. If the hemorrhoids are not too serious the hemorrhoids should be completely gone in about 6 ~ 10 hours. For more severe hemorrhoids (blood can be seen when having a bowel movement) use the same crushed garlic routine at least three time a day and within 3 or 4 days the hemorrhoids will be completely gone. Very simple, effective and very cheap way to completely cure hemorrhoids quickly without having to see a doctor.

I had hemorrhoids since I was in my teens and after I overheard a local doctor talking to a local farmer in my hometown to take raw garlic for his prostate cancer I tried the same advice for hemorrhoids and yes the raw minced garlic is extremely effective for hemorrhoids (I tested this on myself and yes garlic does work on hemorrhoids as the garlic is almost instantly absorbed into the bloodstream once the garlic is eaten)! Take the raw minced garlic with some other foods I listed above in my first comment. If the hemorrhoids are pretty serious and you have blood in your stools it will take about 3 or 4 days to fully clear up. For the most part you should feel results in as little as 24 hours. Try taking the 3 or 4 cloves of raw minced garlic 3 times at day if you can stomach the raw minced garlic. The garlic MUST be RAW to be effective as cooking the garlic will render the garlic healing properties ineffective.
If you are really in lots of pain, take a hot bath for 30 minutes. This will help with the pain and relax the prostate.
In the meantime a bath in hot/warm water will also help immensely before resting and sleeping off while you wait for the garlic to reach its full effect.

I have experienced some pain going if I wasn't near a bathroom and held it in for awhile. It felt like my intestines were twisting inside and was very painful and I couldn't go, but that has been on rare occasions. I try to avoid that as much as I can, but it has happened a few times and was extremely painful. As far as hemorrhoids go I just don't strain when going and luckily have never got them.
