Just want to say thank you for this video! You take the time to not only say what to look for and do but you demonstrate. I have embroidered for years on a sewing/embroidery machine but this is all new to me, the technical words included. You don't take it for granted that we know what your talking about. Thank you! I look forward to see more of your videos
Congratulations on your machine. Thanks for watching. The machine can sew all types of patches. Are you looking for an instructional video on how to sew a pvc patch and or make patches in general?
Yes. I try to dig in and push all the buttons and go threw the menu’s and think about the issues logically to solve the issues. I love this stuff. I dream about it. Agh. It causes me to lose sleep. Honestly. To many ideas in my head. I get a headache sometimes. Or sometimes i don’t do anything because I want to do so much at the same time. It’s an insane addiction.
Did you look at any other machine before you purchased the EM 1010? If so which ones and why did you decide on the EM-1010? I'm in the shopping mode at the present time
I actually purchased the Mt-1501 first. I did my research on the melco and didn’t like that you had to have a computer connected to the machine to embroider. Without that it won’t work. Tajima almost three times the price and when looking at the quality between that and the Ricoma’s I couldn’t see anything worth justifying the higher price tag. When I got in touch with a Ricoma they didn’t stress me or hound me. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. At the time I saw nothing but bad videos about Ricoma but on the private Facebook groups I saw people embroidering fancy designs that looked nice. Then It was a no brainer when they offered me 0 percent financing till 2026. Had my MT-1501 for a few years now. Added two em-1010’s and an MT-2002 8s two head. Love these machines. My money makers. Now look on ig and everybody is having success using these machines for their business. If I could go back I’d still buy my MT-1501 above all the other machines out there. If you decide to get one use my affiliate link in the description. If not then still come back and tell us which machine you went with and why and how it’s going. Can’t make a wrong decision as long as you take the time and learn how to get the technology to work. Some don’t have patience and expect it to work right out of the box. These things require time to learn. Any brand. Also Ricoma gives you free training online if you get a single head. If you get a two head or above they come to your house and train you.
I know you did this video a while ago but got to thank you. Just picked up one of these and spent my morning getting mine on point. Which hoop are you doing this test on?
Looks like it has the manual thread trimmer where you can pull the thread out, then loop it around the white tab in the front and it will cut it. very handy. My SWF 1501c doesn't have that feature but my Brother PR-620 does.
Yes. My MT-1501 doesn’t have it either but this EM-1010 does. That’s for when you initially thread the needle. It makes the thread the perfect length so it catches the bobbin thread when it starts embroidering.
Hi man I just bought the em 1010, and I have the same metall sound on one of my needles like you had on yours, number 7 I think it was, but do u know why it does that ? And what I can do to fix it ?
Take your time and pick what works best for you. These units are perfect. For me and by business and I would still recommend them to anyone looking the buy a multi head home embroidery machine. If you want industrial i highly recommend the Mt-1501.

Man, You are going to make me go broke. But it will be a good thing b/c this machine is FIRE!!! Are there any discounts for ( watchers ) purchasing this equipment because of your video?
Let them know I sent you and ask about the free shipping. And bro you are not going broke you are spending your money on equipment that will make you more money. Going broke would be buying a LV bag and some Jordan’s or a food chain that won’t make you anything.. Go back in my videos and watch when I was driving Uber. What got me to here is using my cash to purchase things that bring me a return faster than the bank’s .035% interest rate while they lend my money out and charge people 25% to use it. You are bit gonna go broke you are gonna make more money over time. Think of this hypothetically as a money printer. That’s what this and all my other equipment does for me. Make me money everyday. People call me can you make this, i need a birthday shirt. I need a hat. I need this. The bank holding your money only calls when they want more money from you. They don’t call to thank you or give you their money. You understand.
Hello! I bought an em1010 second hand and having mayor tread tension issues. Can you give me some advice? Every time I start a project the thread breaks. I have to leave a long piece of thread before I start so the thread doesn’t break.
Do an "H" test with satin letters.. it will tell you if your tension is off.. it should be 1/3 upper color, 1/3 bobbin and 1/3 upper color. Thats always a good starting point but I bet you knew that
So far I like it mainly because of its small size and portability. It’s good enough to get started and get your feet wet in the pre-professional space. You can make money from it. I obviously plan on it. But…… my Mt-1501 wouldn’t give it up. For the em1010. This is a good alternative though if your not ready to dive in and don’t want that massive machine. That’s why I got it. For a factor and performance. I see quite a few youtubers running Etsy businesses on the em1010.

This video helped out a lot. I have an em1010; the breakdown of the tension was much needed. Do a video on how to freehand fonts from your computer
Not sure what you mean by freehand fonts. like how to use true type fonts from your computer in digitizing software?
I am new to this, when you say a tail, what do you mean? I got the mt1501.
Excellent video. Thanks!

Nice do a leather jackets vest and denim
No. The Em-1010 is not build to embroider on leather jackets. You need an MT-1501 to do tonight materials. You can do denim though.
