I305 should’ve gotten a space theme with that and flight of fear being it’s own “Area 51” section. My predictions: Phase 1: - Phoenix the Wing Coaster(callback to Volcano) -Renaming i305 to Cheetah Chase or Duma -Tie in flight of fear with jungle X (I don’t think they’ll retheme it, so I’ll let them get creative with a new name lol) Phase 2 (2028) - retheme Backlot Stunt Coaster to Jungle Adventure with Safari style truck vehicles -removal of Anaconda and replaced with a b&m flyer
I’m hopeful that the launch will be good to great. B&M launches are a lot punchier than I originally thought they would be. Even Penguin Trek has a “punchy” launch for a family coaster. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.
If they are repainting 305 and changing FOF, there may not be enough money in the budget for a show building and near miss elements. Copperhead Strike was supposed to have some near miss sheds along the course but the main project exceeded the budget.
Jealously looking on from neglected & forgotten Southern California/Knotts Berry Farm....even though we have the #1 highest attended park in the six flags and cedar fair chain (Magic Mtn & Knotts). I wish you guys had some info about the LONG rumoured giga-coaster, we don't have REAL coaster journalist doing work for us over here 😔
Well originally that was supposed to be Leviathan. Dick Kinzel talked about it in his book. I know they keep kicking around the idea but sometimes popularity becomes an enemy. If there’s no reason to invest at Knotts and still get solid attendance, why do it? It’ll be really interesting to see how they treat the two parks moving forward.

Oh that’s good news. I still think Thunderbird has the best launch anywhere currently operating.

No near misses on a wing coaster would be a big misstep in my opinion.

I had to look it up. Mandrill Mayhem is a monkey with really awesome cars. All of the rest are flight based.
