me too! Been exploring ancient Egypt thanks to the coronavirus lol this has been a dream of mine ever since i was a child! (The Egypt part, not the coronavirus lol)
Yup! I have been replaying the game the past few weeks on my new 4K tv and it looks absolutely stunning! Love the way the water looks and flows when sailing through the Nile. But that is only one aspect, the game is amazing.
His voice is in perfect match with bayek... Great game.. Cant thank the developers enough for making this beautiful game.. Another sequel would be great
Been playing the AC games since the first and currently playing Valhalla. Origins is still my favorite in the series. This game is simply stunning! This game is drop dead gorgeous and truly shines on Egypt.
One of the most amazing games ever created. So immersive and the world is beautiful. Bayek is solid and the story is very interesting. Everyone needs to play this game.
So much AC games to play, I just catch up Origins (a 2017 game) in 2020, just during coronavirus period. Almost Platinum it, and I've already played over 80 hours... Hope I can finish everything under 100 hours... Then I can start Odyssey after this.
Honestly, one of the game's most impressive aspects is the range of various activities performed by the NPCs throughout the day that are all accurate to the time period - it really helps to make the world feel alive and is on par with RDR2 that came out a year later.
I absolutely love all the research they did to make this game the best it could possibly be. Also, the same people that worked on Origins worked on Black Flag? Those guys made two out of three of the best games in the franchise.
This game is awesome. I love open world games, I played a lot of it. So far this one gave me the best and most complete experience of what Exploring needs to be. There are some things that needed attention to detail like the enemy leveling sort of thing. Fighting the same enemies with a more op version of them is not fun, it's lazy game design. Basically the same enemy just more op damage, kinda makes grinding a chore. They could've added like an upgraded version of the enemies, or armored enemies where u can strip their armors first, or disarm them or anything that must be done just to weaken them so u can beat them. Imagine that, but still AC Origins completely overshadowed most open world games that I love.
This is by far the best Assasssins Creed ever made and I've ever played. The story which takes place in ancient Egypt is by far most stunning and marvelous idea ubisoft had come out with. Color schemes and detail in this game are superior to any assassins creed I've ever played. Having completed the original storyline and achieved 100% completion the DLC packs were no different. Hidden ones were parallel to the original story and gave a gamer like my self a continuing feeling as if the original story never ended. Curse Of The Pharoes, dove deep into Egypt's past, A Storyline of how a Curse has plauged Thebes was outstanding and very entertaining. Overall, Will I ever play this game again, absolutely hands down (YES). Most loved video game ever. Highly recommend.
Game is easily one of my top 3 open-worlds of all time. Just absolutely breathtaking attention to detail in this game, locations are incredibly diverse, story is gripping and engaging, gorgeous music, combat feels fun and challenging, map is massive without being overwhelming, and maybe my favorite part which is the wildlife and how it plays so heavily into the story and quests, which gives the game this depth and shows the respect and awe that is due with the duality of nature's beauty and danger. They knocked it out of the park with Origins and I hope the next game (Mirage) is able to reinvent the series as well as Origins did. Kudos to Ubisoft's dev team for making such an incredible piece of digital art.
Oh boy, what an awesome game and team behind it. I bought this game 10 days ago on PS Store and got so addicted to it that I couldn't stop playing it and finished it with 100% yesterday and also got my PS platinum trophy. Beautiful scenery, incredible voice acting, amazing soundtrack, good story etc etc. I was blown away. I liked almost everything in the game (except Hippodrome races and killing that giant snake, those 2 were awful). It's my second AC game after Unity but I will never forget it. Thank you Ubisoft and whole team behind it. Listening to soundtrack still gives me chills. Now it's time for DLC.
This guy Ishmael really made 2 of the best ac games bro, black flag was amazing too. I bought the game like 2 years after it came out cuz i was not able to sit and play at the time(too much going on) but i never got to fully play it when i finally got it cuz im bot going to lie i got bored and left off where you arrive at that city when you have to kill the crocodile. About 2 weeks ago i decided to give it another go and bro im having so much fun rn to the point i bought the season pass without even being close to finishing the game, ironic enough i just git the the same place i left off the game at when i got bored of it 2 yrs ago. Im glad im playing it now tho so much fun even to the point i reinstalled ac odyssey, another ac i got bored of too a few hrs in the game. GREAT GAME ISHMAEL
Honestly the best AC game FOR ME. I loved everything about it. ONLY problem was the very limited parkour; However this was a minor issue for me since the story, scenery and gameplay overall definitely made up for it. This team really delivered on this game.
I just started playing this game a few months ago. I absolutely love it. I've had more fun just exploring Ancient Egypt, taking pictures of chickens and petting every cat I find than playing the actual game.
Honestly, one if the most impressive aspects is the range of various activities that the NPCs perform throughout the day all accurate to the time period - it really helps to make the world feel alive and is on par with RDR2 that came out a year later.

After playing this game and Odyssey it's such a night and day difference. I remember losing interest in Origins back in 2017 and then finishing it late last year and really loving it. I finally finished everything in Odyssey and it's just . . . not the same. Origins is superior. And to add insult, LOTFB insinuating that Kassandra/Alexios is related to Aya/Amunet is horrid. Aya is NOTHING like Kassandra/Alexios whilst Bayek is practically the embodiment of Oddysey's protagonist. So in my headcanon, Bayek is Kassandra/Alexios' descendant. Really hope some day we get a Origins sequel. But in the meantime I will eventually get the DLC.
@@BAT2000-n8p I disagree because this game doesn't even acknowledge that freaking Juno was killed off in a freaking comic book of all things( didn't even have the decency to give us a Assassin's Creed Embers like short film) and there's all kinds of inaccurate lore, they change the precursors architecture to looking plain and boring and like something we could make today, Layla is a nothing character(of course I was willing to excuse that because Desmond was mostly a nothing character as well, but they then expanded on his character in The sequels but they didn't do anything with her following the two sequels), they don't seem to understand how the bleeding effect works, they seem to have forgotten that the Assassin's didn't start in 49 BC it was in the 11th Century that They were formed, and a few other things that I forgotten over the years. Now that isn't to say that this is a bad game it's a fantastic game and I freaking love it, but it should have been a spin-off set in the Assassin's Creed universe but not an Assassin's Creed game. PostScript in Assassin's Creed Odyssey well that's an entire different Beast of its own so I'm not even going to get into it, suffice it to say it shouldn't be an Assassin's Creed game either

It would be great in India (during British rule) China (Tang dynasty) or Feudal Japan !
How about Mongol? they have access to china, bit of korea and japan, even south east asia, middle east and europe, that would eclipse odyssey easily
